Four digit numbering system starting with 0001 and not just 1.

How can I re name and renumber a file of photos and include a four digit numbering system starting with 0001 and not just 1. I need this so another computer program can keep the images in numerical order
Now I number a wedding say... Smith_Jones 1 ect up to 659 but a program I use to create albumes scrambles all my photos becasue they say the numerical system has to have 4 digits so Number 1 is really 0001 thus staying in order. I d ont see how to assign 3 zeros to the front of numbers --- so # 344 would be 0344 LR wants to keep it 344.

I'm trying to create a datatype in PI 7.1 with element starting with underscore and numbers like _Name , 1.0.Name. when I'm trying to activate the dataype. I'm getting the error Activation of the change list canceled.please help me out

What exactly are you viewing in production - a data type? You could be viewing an external message. Reconfirm.

What about numbers that start with Zero

When I enter numbers that start with Zero (EX: 08794) in a cell, Numbers automatically drops the zero. I WANT THE ZERO. How can I do that. I've tried changing the formula to numerals and automatic. Same thing.

Numbers starting with zeros are usually "labels" rather than "numbers" used in further calculations. If that's the case with yours, the easiest solution is to set the format of the cells where the 'numbers' will be inserted to Text.
An alternate, useful only if all of the 'numbers' are the same length (eg. five digit zip codes) is to set a Custom format for the cell(s).
Use the Cell Format Inspector ("42" button in the Inspector) to apply either of these settings.

Starts with 15fps and quickly drops to 1fps

I don't know what changed... it has been working fine for the past couple of years. For the past couple of months my video starts with 15fps and quickly drops to 1fps -- I still receive 15fps. . I have feeling it is either my cable provider or my Vonage strangling my bandwidth (both are the same since day one) maybe some settings were changed. When I do a speed test...up and down numbers are average or above for my cable provider.
Quicktime is set to 1.5...T1/Lan etc.
iChat bandwidth limit is set to none (tried all choices).

Most likely it it is a background process.
In addition to the culprits found when Tiger came out listed on that page also open up Activity Monitor and check how many Widgets are active (shutting them down is best).
Also check if a Print Monitor is listed as most likely this is Stuck and can be Force Quit from the button top left of Activity Monitor.
The other possibility is that SpotLight is Indexing.

Hi Kajol,
A segment in SAP system is technically implemented as three physically separate pieces.
1. Segment type u2013 the version-independent name of the segment. Standard SAP names begin with E1.
2. Segment definition u2013 contains the fields which represent the data. Its maximum size is 1000 bytes. Standard SAP definitions start with E2 with the last 3 characters implying the version of the segment.
3. Segment documentation u2013 represents the data dictionary documentation for each field in the segment definition. It begins with E3 for SAP provided segments.
For example, E1EDP01 will be your segment type and E2EDP01003 will be your segment definition with 003 indicating its version.By default, the segment type points to the latest segment definition.

Blocking all numbers that start with +23

I have a big problem, because someone from Nigeria is calling me all the time (i dont know where did they get tnis number!!!). I tried to bock their numbers, but whenever I do that, they just change the number and call again. I think I have bloked over 100 numbers, but they keep calling!
Is there any possiblity to block all numbers that starts with +23?

You will not be able to do this.
If the material number is fully numeric you can only have leading zeros On or OFF, you cannot store a material number with differeing leading zeros.
If this was a new implementation you could have set the "lexicographical" flag on the material master controls and you could then have whatever leading zeros you wanted, but this flag can ONLY be set BEFORE you add your first material and so you no longer have the option.
If you really MUST have this option then define an external number range for alpha characters and use an alpha character on the end of the number, so for 00456 you would have to create 00456a and train your users to ignore the "a". This is a really bad solution but you have no option of having variable numbers of leading zeros.

I got an address from Applecare, although I can't place my hand on it right now. I didn't bother persuing the letter route myself as I didn't expect much. I know that the location was Cork, Ireland though as that where the UK Applecare is based as far as I'm aware. The best thing to do is to call Applecare (if it's free) and discuss the issue. State that you are not happy wit the fact that you will have to pay to have the problem resolved especiiay if it is an ongoing problem that has not been resolved. I ended up speaking to a senior manager of the Applecare team who then proceeded to tell me about mailing in my grievence to customer services division or something like that.
If I can find the address I may post it if I'm allowed.
In the case of age, Schools usually have a 5-year life-cycle as they tend to be used differently than consumer machines, i.e. being used constantly on a daily basis for at least 12 hours with no break. you would expect issues to appear after a few years, but I expect problems that arise through defects to be resolved and stay resolved. As I mentioned we had machines for around 2 years before the lines appeared and sent them to be repaired. I'm happy with that. What I am unhappy about is the fact that the problem has reappeared exactly in the same way and now I'm left with around 7 machines that I either pay loads to repair or, the more likely replace the machines with newer ones since the age is now big enough to warrant the replacement.
Sorry for the lengthy moan, but these are the reasons I purchased Apple ahrdware in the first place to avoid the "not our problem" stance some PC vendors usually take, similar to the Dell monitors thread mentioned in here somewhere.

Restart your computer
While your computer is restarting, clear all of the applications from the background on your iPhone. You can do this by pushing the home button twice and swiping the programs off the screen by pushing them upwards.
After you are done doing that, restart your phone.
Wait about 10 seconds or so and turn your phone back on. By the time you get your phone back on your computer should be completly restarted and ready to go.
When your phone is back on, plug it into your computer. This should automatically bring up your Itunes, you may get another pop up that says autoplay, you can close that out. That's it. I hope it helps and good luck

이 문서는 IBM AIX5L OS 상에서 Arch Process가 online redo log
를 release하지 못하고 OS의 kill 명령으로 kill조차 되지 않을 경우
조치 방법이다.
Problem Description
이 문서는 다음 OS 정보와 Oracle version인 경우에 해당한다.
Oracle Server - Enterprise Edition - Version: 9.2.0.5.0
Oracle Server - Enterprise Edition - Version: 8.1.7.4.0
AIX5L Based Systems (64-bit) or (32-bit)
문제 발생 당시의 증상은 다음과 같다.
- arch-process doesn't release redolog files
- arch-process doesn't die after database shutdown
- arch-process can't be killed
genclntsh 수행 시 hang 상태이다.
(sleeping...)28590: kwaitpid(0x2FF22470, -1, 4, 0x00000000, 0x00000000)
또는 이 문제로 인하여 ORA-600[2103] 에러가 발생하기도 한다.
이 에러가 발생하는 원인은 IBM AIX5L 64bit, 32bit OS 이슈에 있다.

Solution Description
OS AIX5L ML4.0(5.2.0.40)의 bos.up / bos.mp / bos.mp64 fileset level을
갖는 JFS2 file system을 갖는 경우에 해당한다.
AIX 5.3 APAR IY59387은 IY58143에 포함되어 있다.
JFS2 file system에 Heavy I/O activity가 발생하면 database process에
HANG 문제를 야기시킬 수 있다. 이 때 database process가 kill -9
명령으로 kill되지 않는다. 데이타베이스를 SHUTDOWN하여도 Process가
계속 살아 있게 된다.
Process에게 SIGKILL 함수가 issue되었지만 영향을 주지 않게 된다.
Process를 제거하는 유일한 방법은 OS를 reboot하는 것이다.
문제를 예방하는 방법은 IBM APAR-FIX IY59082 를 적용하는 것이다.
이 APAR는 bos.64bit 5.2.0.42에 포함되어 있다.
Fix :
Need to install the IBM APAR-FIX IY59082, this APAR is included on
bos.64bit 5.2.0.42.
(주) IBM 엔지니어에게 확인 결과 이 Patch 안에 AIX5L 32bit 용과 64bit
용이 모두 포함되어 있는 것으로 확인됨.

The install was from my original Dell XP Pro-SP1 'Reinstallation' CD along with the complete MS XP-SP2 download that I burned to another CD. I also had all the latest Dell drivers from their website burned to a CD. Install went as follows:
- Format HD
- Install XP Pro SP1
- Install SP2
- Install Dell Drivers
- Obtain any MS patches from their site
- Install Office
- Update Office from the MS website
- Install iTunes
- Tweak MS settings
- Install many software programs
- Make an interim Image of system and store to ExHD
- Install other software programs (mostly security programs)
- Make another 'complete' Image to ExHD
- Restore backup data and music
After additional testing last night, I determined that it is not iTunes at all (or to blame). I get intermittent hangs/freezes/pauses in other media players (WMP, etc.).
Seems that something is causing the 'System' process to periodically jump up in CPU %age (though not more than 30-50%). Even this relatively small amount is enough to pause the playback of music or video, hang the mouse movement for a brief moment, or delay a menu opening. All very subtle - you have to be looking for it to notice (except with real-time audio-video, which is quite noticeable whenever this happens).
I had this problem a year ago, which is why I reimaged then and stayed with SP1 on the advice of Dell and Webroot. I'm stumped as to where to look for the culprit. Every time I go back to the original HD with SP1, everything runs smoothly. Some sort of system call is generating this complete pause....
I'll be limited in my Internet ability for the next several days, so I may be out of touch until Friday. I'll keep testing and playing with the limited equipment I take along....
Any thought you or others want to toss out, I'll attempt when possible.

I have started with writing c code on mac using xcode .....but one of my friend told me to use gcc for coding.
Why? If you are developing and writing code on a Mac why would you not use the tools Apple has given you? And Xcode, once you get use to it, is a very nice development environment that will make you life a whole lot easier.
If you insist on using an editor and the terminal I would recommend Emacs but it has a long learning curve so something like TextWrangler will work too.
As for the compiler if you have Xcode installed install the command line tools and you will be able to compile from the terminal.

WP8 IsolatedStorageFile Filenames Starting with Dot (".") not Removed on Uninstall?

In short, I observe when uninstalling my Windows Phone 8.1 development application, not all of its IsolatedStorageFile is being removed. Files and directories whose names start with '.' seem to be skipped.
Using ISETool.exe , I (accidentally) copied lots of files into the IsolatedStorageFile of an application on my phone that I'm developing. I didn't want most of those files and wanted to delete them, so I uninstalled my application. I even restarted
my phone (several tries later) to be safe.
Then, I re-installed my application, but didn't open the application and didn't put any files back onto my phone using ISETool. When I did `ISETool.exe ts...` to copy files back (expecting that there would be no files to copy from my phone, because
I'd just uninstalled my application), I found that there were a bunch of files that were copied from my phone. Each file that I noticed had a name starting with '.' , and each directory that I noticed either had a name starting with '.' or contained some other
directory that did.
Next I tried coding into my application the ability to delete these extra files and directories using IsolatedStorageFile.DeleteDirectory , IsolageStorageFile.DeleteFile, and IsolagedStorageFile.Remove , but each of these methods received an UnauthorizedAccessException
I finally was able to clean up my unwanted files by doing this:
1. Write code in my application to rename every file or directory whose name starts with a dot
2. Deploy and run the application from 1
3. Uninstall the application from 1
Thoughts? Is this the cleanest solution for now?
Is this the correct place to report what I think is a bug?

When I ran `ISETool.exe rs...` , the current directory on my desktop accidentally contained a bunch of extra directories starting with a dot (in my case, ".git"), and it looks to me like ISETool copied all of the subdirectories from my desktop to
my phone like it was supposed to.
(Of course, I wasn't planning to make a bunch of directories with names starting with a dot, and I don't plan to intentionally do it in the future either; it was just a side-effect of the fact that the `cd` in my batch file failed, and so the working directory
wasn't what I expected it to be when ISETool ran)
