Four times hen I downloaded Firefox in English (American) I get Firefox in an oriental language.

I was trying to download current Firefox for MAC. I kept on getting what appears to be a Southeast Asian language version despite requesting English (American). After four attempts, I got it in English, but, in removing the extra versions, I erroneously removed the one in English as well. Now I am unable to get it in English at all. I have a MacBook Pro running OS X 10.8.3.
When I pushed Troubleshooting information, I got: Firefox Kigengo Kabodo man woku (support.mozilla.org) ki penyo me keto yubi i kompluta mamegi.

If there are problems with updating then best is to download the full version and uninstall the currently installed version and delete the Firefox program folder to remove any leftover files.
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

I had to change a password stored in Firefox, and now I cannot get Firefox to remember a new password.

As stated, I was required to change a password, yet the old password still appeared in the field, so I went into settings and deleted the old one, but now I cannot get Firefox to save the new password. Make sure that you do not run Firefox in (permanent) Private Browsing mode (Never remember history).

The website may be using autocomplete=off to prevent Firefox from saving form data like name and password.
You can remove autocomplete=off with a bookmarklet to make Firefox store form data like names and passwords.

Note that Firefox won't auto-fill saved form data automatically when autocomplete=off is used, so you need to double-click the empty name field to get a drop-down list.

I've downloaded (& removed) Firefox 4.0 three or four times now because everytime it opens it FREEZES! Has Firefox fixed this bug yet?

Firefox 4.0 downloads fine, and loads fine, but then after I click on a Bookmark or go to any desired webpage, it FREEZES and I cannot click anything.
No warning or crash messages, just frozen page - can't click out and have to do a Ctrl+Shift+Esc to manually close the program.

On a public computer, no download to desktp, how do I get Firefox on my thimb drive?

I recently had to switch to Firefox in order to access my e-mail with ATT.net but Firefox has been corrupted and will not load. I am unable to get online to get another download because I deleted Explorer, it was useless to me. Now I have no browser at all and cannot access anything online. The only computer I can access is at the public library and I cannot download to their desktop and copy. Can I download directly to a thumb drive or get a hard copy somewher or am I just SOL? No disks came with my computer either so I do not have any other access to Explorer or any other browser.

Did you try starting Firefox in Firefox's Safe Mode? That's a standard diagnostic tool to bypass interference by extensions (and some custom settings). More info: [[Troubleshoot Firefox issues using Safe Mode]].
You can restart Firefox in Safe Mode by holding the Shift key when you start it. In the dialog that appears, click "Start in Safe Mode" (''not'' Reset).

To ensure a clean installation, please do the following:

Account WORKS, yet sync does not sync anything BUT the "alien tabs". Using Sync to migrate plataforms in this scenario is impossible. Any hints here ? Thank you.

After experimenting, each sync is scheduled on the each individual device and after all of them have completed, the about:sync-tabs page shows the updated tabs. It is not realtime, it seems to take a few minutes. This being the case, a fresh login did speed this up. If I logged out of the firefox account on my mobile device and logged in, I immediately saw the tabs on the about:sync-tabs page.
There is no limit to how many can be synced. There is a number of tabs that make it to the queue for the next scheduled sync. The tabs are done by a time interval as far as I noticed in the experiment.
The history is indeed merged with the history from other devices. It is merged the synced to each of the devices over an interval of time.

Can't get firefox 4 to load

When I try to ldownoad Firefox v. 4, it does not automatically load. When I try "click here" to load, I get a box ask if I wish to to save the file or cancel but no option to download the app. Either choice fails to load the app.
