Try this - Reset the iPad by holding down on the Sleep and Home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons. (This is equivalent to rebooting your computer.) No data/files will be erased. http://support.apple.com/kb/ht1430

Access to time char with TMVL in FOX is not working with offset other than0
Hi,
In the FOX Planning function, TMVL is not working as desired if we give any other offset other than 0.
Could you pls guide.
Sample Code *************
DATA PFROM TYPE ZPERSTRT.
DATA PTO TYPE ZPEREND.
PFROM = OBJV().
PTO = OBJV().
MESSAGE I000(ZSEM) WITH 'PFROM1' PFROM.
MESSAGE I000(ZSEM) WITH 'PTO1' PTO.
PTO = TMVL(PFROM, 3).
MESSAGE I000(ZSEM) WITH 'PFROM2' PFROM.
MESSAGE I000(ZSEM) WITH 'PTO2' PTO.
Sample Code *************
Output *************
S:ZSEM:000 PFROM1 2007001
S:ZSEM:000 PTO1 2007012
Error in function TMVL for value 0000000 and offset 3
S:ZSEM:000 PFROM2 2007001
S:ZSEM:000 PTO2 0000000
Output *************
Does Fiscal Year Variant plays any role here. If so how do we control this increment or decrement of the Fiscal Year Period.

Durga BWDurga,
If ZPERSTRT and ZPEREND reference 0FISCPER, it should be fine for use with TMVL. If you have Z time characteristics defined as NUMC (7) for example, there will be some issues.
I think the FOX is running into issues since they are using 2 different data objects even though both are referencing 0FISCPER.
Takes me too long to log into the system to verify so not sure if this would work but give these a try.
Option A)
DATA PFROM TYPE ZPERSTRT.
DATA PFROMAD3 TYPE ZPEREND.
DATA PTO TYPE ZPEREND.
PFROM = OBJV().
PTO = OBJV().
MESSAGE I000(ZSEM) WITH 'PFROM1' PFROM 'PTO1' PTO.
PFROMAD3 = PFROM.
PFROMAD3 = TMVL(PFROMAD3, 3).
MESSAGE I000(ZSEM) WITH 'PFROM2' PFROM 'PTO2' PTO.
Option B)
DATA PFROM TYPE ZPERSTRT.
DATA PTO TYPE ZPEREND.
FOREACH PFROM.
MESSAGE I000(ZSEM) WITH 'PFROM1' PFROM.
PTO = PFROM.
PTO = TMVL(PTO, 3).
MESSAGE I000(ZSEM) WITH 'PFROM2' PFROM 'PTO' PTO.
ENDFOR.
hope this helps,

Phone purchased from verizon new not working
iphone 4s brand new purchased at Verizon store keypad is slow and wont charge fully..kept one day and took back and they wanted to charge me again for another phone, wait for it to come in, then ship back the purchased one not working at all second day and wait for a refund of the 200+ dollars. Will Apple store exchange it for me?
If it is a hardware failure and they have a service replacement unit available, yes they will. Make a Genius Bar appointment at your nearest Apple Store and find out.

Alot of people use my computer and I would like to make it to where you are required to have a password to delete the history. I tried public fox but you can simply delete the history by accessing "Show all history". So public fox doesn't work.
Sorry, Firefox doesn't have a password feature for browsing history, and I haven't seen an extension for that.

Edit as new not working with draft messages?
Occasionally I want to send two similar messages at the same time. I write one message and save it as a draft - usually at this stage without any addresses specified.
I visit the Drafts folder and use Edit as New to open the draft message as what I expect to be a new message, and then make the changes necessary (including a modified subject) to create the second similar message. I then save the second message as a draft.
When I return to the Drafts folder, the second message has overwritten the first. Edit as New does not appear to work correctly in the Drafts folder ......
I can create two similar drafts by starting a completely new message (with Write), and then manually copying the subject & contents of the original draft. However this is a cumbersome process .....
Please can Mozilla be modified so that Edit as New allows multiple draft messages to be created correctly?Thanks for your feedback. I've looked at the bug report you identified and added my vote to the system.
I have previously tried using Templates for this issue. However, my messages are usually sent to a mailing list. I have found in the past that the mailing list is expanded when the message is sent, and my templates contained the expanded list (which meant that any addresses subsequently added to the mailing list were ignored).
I don't think I've actually tried creating the template without any addresses, even though this is how I currently work with my drafts. I'll do some more experimenting - it might provide a neat solution to several related problems.
Thanks again for your help. -
The featured news widget does not seem to be working in the current version 2014.2 release. I cannot add tabs. The rollover state of the tabs does not appear in the preview state or in a browser preview. Can someone please advise about this issue. Thanks so much.
Just checking in to see if anyone else in experiencing this issue and if there are any possible solutions:
From my original posts -
The featured news widget does not seem to be working in the current version 2014.2 release. I cannot add tabs. The rollover state of the tabs does not appear in the preview state or in a browser preview. I tried using the widget on a blank new site and I still have the same errors. In addition, as I drop the widget on the page, I cannot add a fourth new tab. Clicking the plus icon to add a tab produces a blank non editable tab.
Adding Featured News Widget to page -
When attempting to add a new tab, a blank tab appears without editable text and without its corresponding content section.
You can edit the text in the initial buttons however the rollover state of the tabs does not appear in the preview state or in a browser preview
When selecting the tab for editing, the menu appears however the tab itself is not editable. -
Hi:
Yesterday fox tab stopped functioning. I have set both the options for fox tab and for Mozilla options to have the fax tab for the opening page (home page). No matter how I try, it does not hold on the option. When I look at them, the balnk:about does not appear.
If click on the fox tab icon on the toolbar, then the display page is no longer visible.
Thankshello, please update firefox & foxtab to their latest version:

Why does my fire fox not work correctly?
I was notified on April 30, 2010 that I need to up-date my flash player and my fire fox has not correctly since. It either hangs up in the loading process and crashes altogether. It can take as long as 5 hours to partly load a website. It took 47 min. for Mozilla support to load tonight. I have uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox twice and 2 seperate comp tech have tried to locate & fix the problem to no avail. Both tech could get fire fox to run for about an hour correctly unless I tried to go to a new website or a new page on the site I was on
Hello Dorothy.
This kind of issues are, unfortunately, more common and the we'd like. Thankfully, 99% of the cases are very easy to solve. However, you do need to diagnose what your exact problem is. Do this:
#run Firefox in safe-mode to disable all extensions and plugins. If this fixes your issues, be them with RAM or CPU usage, then you know it's a problem with plugins or extensions. Proceed to number 2. If safe-mode doesn't fix the issues, then read bellow, after this list;
#update all extensions and plugins in your Firefox. If this doesn't solve the issues, proceed to the following number;
#disable all extensions and plugins in your Firefox (not running safe-mode). Being certain that, as in safe-mode, the problems you're having have gone away, enable one plugin at a time. You should be certain that you WANT that plugin to be enabled, so keep your overall number of plugins as low as possible. When you encounter the problems, you know you've found a problematic plugin, so disable it for good. Keep enabling all plugins (except problematic ones) until you've gone through them all.
#enable one extension at a time. Again, be certain that you WANT that extension to be enabled, so keep your overall number of extensions as low as possible. When you encounter the problems, you know you've found a problematic extension, so disable it for good. Keep enabling all your extensions (except problematic ones) until you've gone through them all;
#you're done! You've fixed your problems with problematic add-ons.
Ok, if disabling all extensions and plugins through safe-mode didn't work to bring Firefox's CPU and RAM usage to good levels, then you have different issue. The most likely scenario is that you have a third party software running on your computer that is messing with Firefox. Do as follows:
#do a virus/malware check on your computer. If this doesn't fix it, proceed;
#disable all software running in the background that you don't want to have running in the background (in windows, this is done by pressing WINDOWS+R in your keyboard, typing "msconfig" (without the commas) and pressing enter. Now, under the "Startup" tab, you can uncheck the software you don't want, and reboot your system for changes to take effect. If you're unsure of what software you want running, ask someone with more experience). If this doesn't fix your issues with Firefox, proceed;
#check your firewall/antivirus/security suite for enabled functions/features that you don't want and/or may be conflicting with Firefox. You'll find that these features are most likely tied to Internet Security features, such as link scanners or URL checkers and the like. If you're not sure they are conflicting with Firefox, simply try to disable them to see whether or not that's true. As long as you don't browse the web with your antivirus completely off and your firewall completely turned off, there should be no problems. If this doesn't solve the issues, proceed to the following number;
#check your operating system security options, mainly advanced options that are not configured by default. While it's very unlikely that this may be the cause of the problem (after all, it's the last item on the list), it's remotely possible. If this doesn't work, proceed to the following point;
#clean up your OS registry, using appropriate software. If this doesn't do it, I'm out of ideas. Except make sure you've followed my instructions correctly. -
I need to know if the new Fire Fox 8.0.1 will support the Norton tool bar? The last time I updated to Fire Fox 5, Norton would not work and I had to go back to 3.6. Some one said they were working on it but I sure would like to know before I switch. Norton handles all of my pass words. I sure do not want to loose that feature. Regards Ron

Pop up window resize disabled not working in fire fox (Linux)
Hi all I am using Dreamweaver 8, with behavior I made a pop
up window and disabled window resizing. It worked nicely in my
windows XP system (I checked it in IE and Fire fox). But it is not
working in Linux machine having same version of Fire fox
browser(but worked correctly in IE on the same machine). In Linux
machine we can simply resize the window.
Does anybody give a solution to fix this problem?Post a link to the page, please.
Why disable window resizing? What about those whose screen
won't display
the size you have picked?

Will not open link in new tabs, some of my add ons are not working properly
I am using Firefox 3.6.6
My add ons, such as Gmail Notifier and Forecast Fox are not showing up on the bottom, but they are all enabled and updated. Also, when right click and select Open Link in New Tab, it opens an Untitled tab.

== I'm not sure whenThe current version of Greasemonkey is compatible with Firefox 29. Could you check to make sure it is not turned off? There should be a "monkey" icon on the toolbar. Clicking that icon turns Greasemonkey on and off; the "off" state is designated by a faded icon, while the "on" state has a full-colored icon.
More generally, could you check for possible extension updates and disable unimportant extensions in case one of those conflicts with Firefox?
Open the Add-ons page using either:
* Ctrl+Shift+a
* "3-bar" menu button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons
In the left column, click Extensions. Then, look for the "gear" button above the list and choose Check for Updates.
I also suggest disabling any extensions you won't be using for the next 24 hours so that you can test whether that improves Firefox's functioning.
Usually a link will appear above at least one disabled extension to restart Firefox. You can complete your work on the tab and click one of the links as the last step.
Any difference?
One possible reason for hangs, especially where you eventually get a dialog indicating that a script is running slowly, is Flash. To minimize sites from using Flash unnecessarily, try setting Flash to Click-to-Play ("Ask to Activate"). This will delay Flash from starting on a page until you approve it.
On the Add-ons page, in the left column, click Plugins. Look for "Shockwave Flash" and change "Always Activate" to "Ask to Activate".
When you visit a site that wants to use the Flash, you should see a notification icon in the address bar and one of the following: a link in a black rectangle in the page or an infobar sliding down between the toolbar area and the page.
Any noticeable difference?

How can I lock rotation and magnification in CS4?
I use CS4 on my macbook pro, and thanks to some rather irritating touchpad shortcuts, I often find myself accidentally rotating the image or zooming in. Is there anyway I can lock the image so this doesn't happen? Thanks in advance for your help.
