Firefox goes to crash report and will not start when I try to open it
Crash ID: bp-9dc68df0-f096-454c-82c3-e32bf2130531
Every time I try to open Firefox, it immediately goes to the crash reporter which says "We're Sorry. Firefox had a problem and crashed. We'll try to restore your tabs and windows when it starts."
I've ran Anti Malwarebytes, Super Antispyware, Kapersky Security Scan, Microsoft Safety Scanner and Spybot and none of them seem to work. I have, also, tried completely uninstalling and reinstalling without success. I have included my Crash report for you to review. Please help me with this because I am completely out of ideas. That is a problem with the audioses.dll file: Firefox 21.0 Crash Report [@ audioses.dll@0x2d36 ]

Firefox crashes won't even open just goes to crash report
I'm using internet explorer as I can't even open firefox. Just updated to 6.0.2 yesterday was working fine last night this morning this all I get is the Mozilla Crash Reporter.
If I have to uninstall and reinstall I really want to know how to save my bookmarks this is most important.
I followed the steps in troubleshooting listed below. The instructions in Help for Firefox Crashes are not applicable because I can't open firefox at all to run in Safe Mode or anything elseI was having this problem also. I tried doing a System Restore and that did not do the trick. I also tried going into Safe Mode and couldn't resolve the problem. Finally I did reinstall Firefox (using Internet Explorer, which I only keep around in case I encounter problems such as this), and voila! Finally I could get back into Firefox, and all of my bookmarks and saved passwords were still there.
I hope this will be encouraging to others who have been experiencing the same problem. -
OS X crash report when starting XBMC with an Apple Remote
Hello,
I need help regarding a crash report on OS X 10.6.8 when using an Apple Remote (AR) to launch XBMC.
I use my Mac Mini (MM) with XBMC (11 or 12), i use my AR to start and control XBMC.
System:
- OS X 10.6.8 aka SL
- XBMC 12 aka Frodo
For several months i occasionally had crashes when starting-up XBMC via the AR (MENU button), I do not know if it came from OS X or XBMC. Instead of the XBMC loading screen i have a little gray window during 1-2 seconds and then the OS X crash.
Initially I thought of a problem with the alternative driver I use, Candelair. I use it since I started with PLEX / XBMC. So I deleted Candelair, i installed it again but nothing changes. I can do without Candelair, so I now i'm no longer using it. I also proceed to a "clean install" of OS X since then in order to avoid problems due to residual files from Candelair.
I thought that this problem was due to XBMC, i sent LOGS to devs, nothing at all, the only thing they can say is that when the problem occurs, XBMC receives two instructions instead of two when I press the supposed start, and LAUNCH QUIT Menu button:
http://forum.xbmc.org/showthread.php?tid=145389&pid=1448778#pid1448778
I thought it might be the latest version of XBMC, the dates match, so I created a "sandbox" on OS X 10.6.8, installed XBMC 11 without any addon, or similar program. It does not matter, I always have "crash reports.".
Except if this is a problem of drivers, the native OS X, or a failure of the AR itself. I don't know waht to do.
I have no idea if you have any?
Thank you
Nemrod
PS the link to the last crash report : http://pastebin.com/raw.php?i=zcs0LdZhHi,
It seems that the problem occurs when my mac idle.

Found 0 results for When I open Firefox I get a "Well this is embarrassing" message. Makes no difference if I click on "Start a new session" or "Restore", it crashes. Then I get a "crash report" which apparently goes nowhere. I have uninstalled and reinstalled twice with the same result, what do I do to restore Firefox?

Will not start on New Install. Opening goes straight to Crash reporter
Will not start on New Install. Clicking on icon does not open a window and goes straight to Crash reporter. I cannot access a window to try to open in safe mode (unless there is another method than outlined in the help article).
I run Windows XP and trying to install the latest 15.0.1 version. Before install, I did disable my Symantic virus protection. I have never used Firefox and would like to try it, but I'm having little success so far to even get started.
Please let me know if anyone has any other ideas or need more information from me.hello Singyt, the bug report associated to this kind of crash indicates that it might be a malware related issue.
your crash report also shows a file named "urixalog.dll", which doesn't turn up any search hits on google, which is also slightly suspicious. could you search for that file on your pc and upload it to a site like virustotal.com in order to analyze it.
please do a full scan of your system with the security software already in place and/or a different tool like the free version of malwarebytes.
Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware
edit: the bug report also suggests that a monitoring program named spector pro/360/... which essentially acts like malware, might cause the issue. in case you have that installed please remove it. otherwise here would be a removal guide for urixalog.dll -

Please help resolve...Certain Firefox problems can be solved by performing a Clean reinstall. This means you remove Firefox and any leftover program files and then reinstall Firefox. Please follow these steps one by one:
#Download the latest Desktop version of Firefox from http://www.mozilla.org and save the setup file to your computer.
#After the download finishes, close all Firefox windows (click Exit from the Firefox or File menu) and confirm all upcoming messages.
#Now, uninstall Firefox by following the steps mentioned in the Uninstall Firefox article.
IMPORTANT: On Windows, the uninstaller has the option to remove your personal data and settings. Make sure that you do not check this option; otherwise all of your bookmarks, passwords, extensions, user customizations and other Firefox user profile data will be removed from your computer.
After uninstalling Firefox on Windows, delete the "Mozilla Firefox" program folder, located by default in one of these locations:
* (On 32-bit Windows) C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox
* (On 64-bit Windows) C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox
#Go to the Windows Start menu and click on "Computer".
#In the Explorer window that opens, double click Local Disk (C:) to open the C:\ drive.
#Find the "Program Files (x86)" folder or "Program Files" folder.
#* On 32-bit Windows, double-click the Program Files folder to open it.
#* On 64-bit Windows, you will see a "Program Files (x86)" folder AND a "Program Files" folder. Open the Program Files (x86) folder.
#Look for a Mozilla Firefox folder. If you find one, right-click it and select Delete and confirm that you want to move the folder to the Recycle Bin.
Now, go ahead and reinstall Firefox:
#Double-click the downloaded installation file and go through the steps of the installation wizard.
#Once the wizard is finished, choose to directly open Firefox after clicking the Finish button.
Please report back to see if this helped you! -

Firefox announces it cannot provide a crash report on the crashI have similar problem only using XPPro/SP3. Once open even if just sitting unused it continues to gobble memory and crashes. It crashed a couple of times a day since the update, has locked the system up a couple of times and crashed a total of 14 times today, the last three while trying to send crash reports. All since the 3.6.17 update. It has become unusable (I'm posting this from Opera 11). From scanning the forum looks like Apple folks are having similar problems with the last update as well.
If I was of a paranoid turn of mind I'd think it was a way to get people to move to FF4. -
Firefox crashed, now won't start, crash reporter message every time
Greetings,
I was using firefox as usual and all of the sudden it crashes and it's now gone and everytime I try to start up a new browser the same crash reporter message comes on:
"Firefox had a problem and crashed. We'll try to restore your tabs and windows when it restarts."
I've restarted, created a new profile..nothing works. Cannot access safe mode. Cannot access anything. In fact, when I try to access older bookmarks which I backed up and saved on a flashdrive and want to view them, the same error pops up with the crash report. I'd like to know if my bookmarks (old and recent) can still be accessed and backed up and that I can solve this problem and use firefox again soon.

The regular/non-extended Hardware Test returned no problems, despite taking hours for what was supposed to be a 3-5 minute test. I haven't dared run the extended.
I also tried removing third-party RAM and using the original configuration, then just the third-party and no Apple, etc.. It's not the RAM, as the problem is exactly the same.
I'm going to call up Apple support when I can, but just looking for other things I can check or possibly do until then, or just insight on what the problem could be.
Is it most likely the graphics card? Could it be an issue with the core hardware? -
I added adblock, that seemed to work OK. The same day I was tracking down slow download speeds with my ISP and they had me go to, I think...I can't remember to well, the tools menu and erase cookies, passwords, etc. I don't remember what else was erased,
in order to "speed up my browser". Maybe I shouldn't have blindly done that. Anyway, when I tried to start Firefox it just goes straight to the crash reporter. It opens fine under Admin and other users.Uninstalling and reinstalling Firefox doesn't usually solve anything, because most problems are contained in the profile.

Unique prob - often when I Right-click a link in a page, FF goes "Not Resp" for up to 2 mins, then most often Re Starts with the stalled tab set (of the window that I clicked in) moving to last place on the browser task bar. Roughly 1 in 5 times when it happens, FF crashes. Done copious searching here & elsewhere & it would appear this is unique, as I can't see this exact problem mentioned. I have the latest FF version & assume all add ons update at that time or auto do so, (all set to default). Have also updated to latest "flash / shock wave".
Start Firefox in <u>Safe Mode</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
*Do not click the Reset button on the Safe mode start window or otherwise make changes.

Hi there, as the question says, I cannot open any Mozilla product. I have tried to install firefox 3.6, older versions of Firefox, Firefox 4.0, Sea Monkey, Thunder Bird and Sun Bird. I have the same problem everytime. I open any of these programs and the first and the only window that appears is the crash reporter. I've tried opening it in Safe Mode and the same occurs. I have tried entirely uninstalling the products incuding the registry keys but no help. I shall post the detailed error reports, if they help solving this issue. Can you kindly look into this and find a solution as I use all of these Mozilla products and my life has been a hell since they've ben down.

Question
I am not able to launch FF everytime i try to open it, it says FF has to submit a crash report, and restore yr tabs. I even tried doing that and the report was submitted too, but still FF did not start, and the problem still persists, please help me solve this issue
(in English)Hi Danny,
Per my understanding that you can't get the expect result by using the expression "=Count(Fields!TICKET_STATUS.Value=4) " to count the the TICKET_STATUS which value is 4, the result will returns the count of all the TICKET_STATUS values(206)
but not 180, right?
I have tested on my local environment and can reproduce the issue, the issue caused by you are using the count() function in the incorrect way, please modify the expression as below and have a test:
=COUNT(IIF(Fields!TICKET_STATUS.Value=4 ,1,Nothing))
or
=SUM(IIF(Fields!TICKET_STATUS=4,1,0))
If you still have any problem, please feel free to ask.

Vicky Liu
