Foxfire setup 3.6.15 download "file is corrupt" error

i downloaded (save) the foxfire setup 3.6.15 compressed file. when i try to run it, i get "file is corrupt" error message

You will need to create a new profile if you didn't create one for the 4.0 beta version.

  • Windows says the itunes download file is corrupt and will not install

    Im trying to install itunes on my new windows 8 pc.  It seems to recognize my software and takes me to a download the 64 bit file (iTunes64Setup.exe).  Once the download completes, the file appears in my windows download manager with the message "The signature of this program is corrupt or invalid".  If I right click and chose install anyway, I get a message saying that Windows prevented this from running.
    I then found the 32bit download file (iTunesSetup.exe).  I get the same results as above.  Any ideas how to fix this?

    I get that all the time with all sorts of programmes.  I normally shut down my pc, unplug it, wait for the light to go out on the back, plug back in reboot and it works (with most of my downloads) try this, it might fix it, it might not.  I tried this the other day after it kept telling me it was corrupt, then it came down and installed fine.  I do this now with every update of every program, if I forget they will all say they have an 'invalid signature' or 'corrupt from source file' etc.  Hope this helps you.  Also I have to do this before I download music as well, because otherwise it seems to come down with the stupid DRM still on the file, meaning I can't put it on my ipod, convert it or even play it on my system.

  • "File is corrupt" error when trying to encode some videos

    Hello,
    We are using Azure Media Services to encode uploaded user videos and although most encode fine, a significant number fail.
    I saw a suggestion to check the file for errors using "Windows Media ASF View 9" and indeed, the files that do not encode have warnings about "Packet is flagged with multiple payload with payload count = 1". Would this be the reason the
    files are not encoding?
    The full error message is: "Task Id: nb:tid:UUID:ce02345d-1500-80c2-5557-f1e4d4404725; Error code: UserInput; Error message: File is corrupted."
    These files play fine in Windows Media Player, VLC, etc.
    I tried another 3rd party encoder and these files encode fine.
    Is there some way to get these files to encode successfully using Azure Media Services?

  • Microsoft Project 2013 trial 64-bit download file is corrupt

    I downloaded the 64-bit trial version of Microsoft Project 2013, but when I try to burn the .img file to a DVD, I get the message: "The selected disk image file isn't valid." 
    When I use winrar to expand the file and then run setup.exe, i get the message "Setup cannot continue because a required file is either corrupted or not available."
    I've repeated the download several times, each time with the same result.
    (The 32-bit version downloaded fine, and I was able to burn it to DVD, but it's not the version I need to install.)
    My OS is Windows 7 Professional.
    Any ideas?

    Sorry you are having issues.  I managed to download OK from
    http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/evalcenter/hh973401.aspx and extracted without any issues and could run setup .  Worth deleting what you have downloaded before just in case it is trying to over-write something.  If it happens again then
    getting logs from you might help establish what it thinks is broken.

  • I need to install Firefox, but every time I try and download it, the downloaded file is corrupted and I cannot install Firefox on my Windows 7 Desktop PC

    I had Firefox installed as my standard webbrowser, but recently it started having problems in regards to websites, some websites wouldn't work as they should. For instance I couldn't open my hotmail email account, it was just a blank white page. Or I would get just code and text on a site that I would normally see images and a designed lay-out. The problems started after I used a demo PC-cleaning program, which removed unnecessary files from my computer. I figured it removed necessary files for firefox to work properly. So I uninstalled Firefox using the uninstaller (but keeping bookmark information etc.) and tried dowloading Firefox 5.0 but the download always crashes or gives me a corrupt file

    Do a clean (re)install:
    * Download a fresh Firefox copy from http://www.mozilla.com/firefox/all.html and save the file to the desktop.
    * Uninstall your current Firefox version and remove the Firefox program folder before installing that copy of the Firefox installer.
    * Don't remove personal data when uninstalling.
    * It is important to delete the Firefox program folder to remove all the files and make sure that there are no problems with files that were leftover after uninstalling.
    You can initially skip the step to create a new profile, that may not necessary for this issue.

  • Purchases won't download "file is corrupted... try again"

    I've asked online apple support what to do and they've told me to download the latest version of iTunes, which I did... but the problem still hasn't been solved. Every time I try to download the music that I've already paid for, an error box pops up that says, "There was a problem downloading such-and-such. The file seems to be corrupted. To redownload the file, choose 'check for purchases' from the Store menu."
    But when I do THAT, the same error box pops up and I'm back to square one. I called Apple support and they gave me the same advice as online support did. Any thoughts?

    Here's what worked for me. Stop the current download, delete it from the downloads screen, then delete the .tmp file from the downloads folder in My Documents/My Music/itunes/
    Go to Check For Purchases in the store drop down. All should be well after this assuming you do not lose internet connection during the download. If this happens, delete all again and re check for purchases...

    If your country's iTunes Store allows you to redownload purchased tracks, I'd delete your current copies of the dodgy tracks and try redownloading fresh copies. For instructions, see the following document:

    Otherwise, I'd report the problem to the iTunes Store.
    Log in to the Store. Click on "Account" in your Quick Links. When you're in your Account information screen, go down to Purchase History and click "See all".
    Find the items that are not playing properly. If you can't see "Report a Problem" next to the items, click the "Report a problem" button. Now click the "Report a Problem" links next to the items.

  • Download file corrupt error 205

    Yesterday when I tried to open Dreamweaver, I got some error about the registration/license and it would not open. So I uninstalled it and tried downloading it from creative cloud. For the last 24 hours the download/install fails with an error saying the download file is corrupt.  Anyone know anything about this?

  • Ios 6.1 file is corrupted. downloaded 5 times but its corrupted

    im stuck with this monotonous message that the download file is corrupt. 5 times. when will apple fix it.

    I have had the same issue for 2 days now. MANY have posted this issue here, as well as on Facebook and Twitter. Apple has now issued a response or fix. I finally called their tech support, and of course they would not take the call without me paying $19 first. Considering that this is a direct and wide spread Apple problem, I did not feel it my responsibility to pay such a fee. In the meantime, I will continue to lose professional productivity utilized by my iPad until the issue is resolved and addressed.

  • The English U.S. download says the online version file is corrupt; is there a means for me to get it otherwise?

    This is the 2nd time I've tried to download your browser to use, and when I click "run", it tells me the "file is corrupt", and I can't do the download or obtain it. Is there a CD of it, or another means that I can obtain this? I am in terrible need of it, as the "Tagged" site has directed me to use it to access their site, & Internet Explorer is messed up & I can't use it. I used to have your browser previously, & tried to get it again before now, as I like it better, but I can't if your online version of the download file is corrupt. Thank you in advance for helping me with this.

  • CRVS2010 Beta -CRforNET40_x86 - I get 'Some installation files are corrupt'

    Hi,
    I just downloaded CRforNET40_x86 from the "Blogs" page and got the 'Some installation files are corrupt' error message on trying to run/extract the files.
    The message also asked me to download the file again but it would seem pointless as I didn't get any download errors so I'm assuming that the file may be corrupted. Would you please have it checked so that I can try downloading it again.

    I downloaded the file from "/people/blair.wheadon/blog/2010/07/29/crystal-reports-for-visual-studio-2010-beta-2-and-runtimes-now-availableCystlR%2528SAPWeblogs%253ACrystal+Reports%2529".
    Anyhow, I decided to download it again and this time it did run properly/extract and install. Don't know why it didn't work/run the first time but the main thing is that it worked.

  • RAR file is corrupt

    It took me a good enough time to download this heavy RAR file which is about 3GB but to my utter shock it came out to be corrupted. 
    I am no tech but I can follow as step by step solution if anyone can provide in an easy manner. I have already search over lot of internet pages but I couldn't actually relate to that typically technical language. 
    Can anyone give a comprehensive guide to fix my RAR file or if there is any tool that I can use but it should be more automated.
