Foxtel Play not unmetered

Hi all, the Foxtel Play website states that use of the service is unmetered for Bigpond customers however the usage is definitely counting towards my metered use. I am watching through my Xbox 360 using the Foxtel Play app. Who can I speak to about getting this rectified? Thanks

Sorry for the delay in replying!
If your service is a BigPond service, then this should not happen. As per the FAQ's: Foxtel Play streaming video is unmetered with Telstra BigPond home broadband services. It is not unmetered with any other internet service provider or via Telstra’s mobile network.
If your service is a standard BigPond service and this is ongoing, it would be worth giving us a call so we can look into this further

I can use different tracks if needed but I would prefer to know how to do it for individual notes as well. They have to be exactly in the middle so it's not out of tune.

    The theme to Doctor Who is in 12/8. In music theory, there's no such thing as a 12th note, the notation and nomenclature is all based on things being divisible by four. So for the diddly-dum feel to happen, you have to give the beat to a quarter note plus another eighth note -- we call it a dotted quarter note, and now you have three eighth notes per beat so you can go diddly. So, since you can't call the time signature 12/dotted quarter, you call it 12/8 and go faster. Make sense? Anyway, for GB's purposes, all you need to know is that you'll get that feel by choosing 12/8.

    Open the key commands window, turn off MIDI remote. Check you haven't assigned MIDI notes to key commands. Open the controller assignments window, and again check you haven't got weird assignments.
    If in doubt, trash both your Logic preference files and see if it goes away.

    I bought the Arturia Player USB controller. The problem is that it does not play note E1 in Logic. In all the other DAW's there's no problem.

    Open your Controller Assignments window (cmd-K), select the message assigned to the E1 note and delete it.

    I'm pretty sure I did not install an update prior to this starting. Since the problem began, however, I uninstalled iTunes and reinstalled to see if that would solve the problem and it did not.
    I typically play songs, on shuffle, from my main library. When I open iTunes shuffle is automatically selected and I click on the play button to choose a random song. Since this past thursday when I click the play button nothing happens. I have to manually choose a song to play. Once the song has ended iTunes does not choose another song (if on shuffle) nor does it play the proceeding song on the list (if on normal play). In order to play another song I have to choose another. Once that song ends I have to select another and so on.
    I have checked the settings and I don't see anything that could be effecting the way iTunes plays the songs.

    Somehow, all of my songs where not checked....

  • Continuous play not working

    I'm having trouble with my playlists. Somehow my setting have been changed so that songs will play one after the other. The boxes beside the song names are no longer checked. I started to go through and check them so the songs would play but if I continue to do that, it will take forever!
    Does anyone know how to check all the song names without going through one by one?
    Also as I've gone through to check the songs individually some of them are getting a little exclamation mark next to the song name (to the left). What does that mean?

    Following the advice of this list, I did a restore trying to make my Nano play podcasts consecutively. Now the Nano will not load my Podcasts! It says there is not enough room. The only option in a dialog is to sync songs. I never load songs, only Podcasts.
    It was loading Poscasts just fine, but it would not play them consecutively.
    How do I get back to where I was, loading new content. My Itunes has way more than can be loaded but most has been listened to. New is less than the amount that would fit on the 4G Nano. Before the restore, one third of the Nano was empty.
    I am using iTunes 7.02. There seems to be very few controls for Podcasts. It makes it very confusing as most tabs and options have to do with songs. It is not very clear when options and tabs apply also to Podcasts.
    Restore was a bad idea, but many of the Podcasts are 10 to 15 mins. long. It is a real pain trying to sit back and enjoy when you have to go find the next to listen to every few minutes. I tried making a playlist and that did not work.
    I have over three years of Podcasts stored in my iTunes, why after a restore, did the Nano not just reload where it left off?
    How do I get it to just load the new stuff?

  • Continuous play not working for songs transferred to another computer

    I purchased a few albums via iTunes. When I changed computers and synced my iPod with the new computer I lost the continuous album play for the songs in these albums. If I play any song from any of these albums and when that song is completed play stops.
    I do not have this problem with any copied/ripped CD music, just the music purchased from iTunes.
    I did try setting the song option for continuous album play but to no avail.
    Any ideas?

    Are there check marks beside all the songs? Unchecked songs have to be clicked on individually to play them, checked songs will play one after the other.   • How to get your keyboard to play notes on Logic pro 9?

    I'm brand new to Logic. I used to use Fruity Loops and with that I could play the notes by clicking on keyboard keys. In Logic, I can get the piano roll up, and can play the notes by clicking on piano keys with the mouse, but I can't figure out how to have the notes play by me clicking on my keyboard. How do I have the notes play through the keyboard(A-Z) keys, instead of the midi controller?

  • ITunes Air Play Not Working

    iTunes has no issues and plays all content well
    I am trying to stream content to an Apple TV (latest generation I think, I just got it from Staples)
    I've removed iTunes, including all libraries, registry entries, and all related folders or programs.  I've disabled iPV6 on my PC, I've configured the router to work with iPV6, rebooted EVERYTHING, and even hard rest my router.  I've created a new user and installed iTunes.  Home Sharing is active on EVERY device I have using the EXACT SAME Apple ID.  I've even tested iTunes on my network on multiple machines, all to no avail.  The TV has the latest software.  I've restarted it, I've reset it.  I can stream and mirror using Air Play to my HD TV using my iPhone or iPad Air.  iTunes Air Play seems to be the one thing I can't do..  I'm at a loss and now I'm ready to throw this thing against the wall.
    After I activated my TV I noticed what I now know to be the Air Play icon in iTunes, but I'm a little afraid I may have clicked something which now makes it stay hidden, but after the removal of iTunes and re-installing it, I doubt it.  Please tell me what I need to do to make it work.

    I unplugged the ATV2 and disconnected it from the HDMI. I once again turned the homesharing off and on in my iutnes ( but see no icon on the side bar) Then I reconnected and the menu of ATV it showed my library on the TV screen. I clicked on it. It said is was loading for a while then it said "Could not connect to Sharon's library". My itunes is open and it said make sure you are on the same network. Frustrated and lost. Ideas?

  • First Play "Not Permitted" on Apple DVD player

    I have some duplicated DVD-Rs of a project, and the client ha reported a disutrbing error. I've been told that on several different Macs running OS 10.2 - 10.4, not only does the disc not auto launch DVD player and not auto-play the first play menu, but when the user presses play on the floating control, they get a "Not Permitted" message. The user reported that they were able to choose "open Video_TS" and navigate to the VIDEO_TS folder on the disc, at which point they were able to get the disc to play.
    The disc include a significant amount of content on the ROM sector of the disc, including an autorun and an .exe file for windows users. However, I can't see how the presence of these ROM files could interfere with the operation of DVD Player and the VIDEO_TS folder on the disc.
    Furthermore, the duplication master for this disc has been formatted directly from DVD studio as a standrd DVD volume - no Toast burn, hybrid volume formatting, anything like that.
    Upon inspection I discovered that my authoring assistant had specified a pre-script on the first play menu. I try never to use pre-scripts for anything, as I have found the way DVD studio handles them to be unreliable. However, I suspect this pre-script on the first play menu as the culprit in this problematic behavior, and have removed it.
    The problem consists in that I did not experience this problem with any of the DVD-R checkdiscs I burned from DVD studio, unti the discs were duplicated. We'll be doing a full-scale replication run as the next step. Since I am not able to reproduce this problem on discs I burn here, I'd like find a way to know I have fixed the problem.
    My question is, has anyone else ever encountered issues with their first-play menu throwing up this "not permitted" condition in Apple DVD Player? Has anyone ever found a connection between this issue and pre-scripts, or between this issue and any ROM files?
    I suspect that DVD studio's pre-scripts are "simulated" or translated through the abstratction layer of DVD studio in a way that allows them to be outside the DVD spec, or perhaps there are other ways DVD studio might be using the pre-command on a menu, such as when you specify a button selection for a menu, that use the menu pre-command, and override the pre-script you might have spcified for the menu.

    I've seen it on replicated masters when a dvd-r master was used and not all regions were selected as ok to play. DSP doesn't 'check' region 7 by default... its best to use a region all project and .img files, not VIDEO_TS builds to the HD.
    How were the discs duplicated though? That is probably the cause of the problem, not the pre-Script. Maybe a 'Data' disc was burnt and not a DVD-Video type option...

  • Playing not selected music in iTunes 9

    Hi all!
    I imported complete albums in iTunes. Because I do not want to hear the complete album on the go I selected/acitvated some title. The sync parameters for the iPhone are set to "only selected/activated titles".
    At home I'd like to hear the complete album. But iTunes plays only the selected/activated, too. I can't "override" this by selecting (blue selection of all titles).
    => What can I do to hear the complete album without activating all titles of the album?

    iTunes will only play an unchecked file if the track is double-clicked; it will not automatically advance to an unchecked file.
    Look into using playlists, rather than checkmarks, to manage what you sync to your iPod. This will give you much more freedom in arranging your music as you wish. On the iPod options page, choose "sync selected playlists."

  • Last Played not updating

    I've got a smart playlist that takes X GB worth of music based upon rating and then sorts it by date last played. The problem is that listening to a song on the iPod does not seem to reset the last played information. It does update the play count information. I've just kinda dealt with it for a while but it has started to bug me. Any suggestions?

    Finally, make sure that the date is set on the iPod.
