FP_TEST_00 & FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE Error

Hi Gurus,
I need to work with adobe print forms, I'm very new to this kind of forms, I started the configuration of the ADS step by step as written in the configuration guide, all the checks are OK except for 2 reports.
FP_TEST_00, when I run it I get this error: ADS: Request start time: Thu Dec 31 13:30:03 GMT+02:00(200101)
FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE, when I run it with destination service I get this error:
SYSTEM ERROR: Request start time: Thu Dec 31 13:30:03 GMT+02:00(200101)
Keep in mind that I did all the instructions in the guide for the configuration of the Web Service Basic Authentication.
Regards,
Mahmoud

Hi
Please follow below steps:
1. Create RFC (ABAP system side) destination through SM59 called as ADS which should of type G
u2022     RFC Destination          : ADS
u2022     Connection Type          :G(HTTP Connection to External services)
u2022     Destination 1               : ADS connection to SID (Java system)
Target System settings:
u2022     Target HOST          : JAVA system Host
u2022     Port               : java system port
u2022     Path prefix          : this defaults(/AdobeDocumentServices/Config?style=rpc)
2. Login to Visual Administration
Navigate to Server  Services  Destinations and select HTTP drop down.
Create the RFC destination as FP_ICF_DATA_<SID>.
Destination Name: FP_ICF_DATA_<SID>
Destination Type: HTTP
Connection settings:
u2022     URL          :http://<hostname>:<ABAP-portno>
u2022     system Id     :--NIL
u2022     client            : ABAP system client no(200 or 300)
u2022     Language     :--NIL
Logon Data:

The note refers to large sizes over 64kb and that was resolved in 640 we are on ECC 6 SR3
The thing is it worked before and then one of the administators changed the password on the target system and we have since put the passowrd to original state but dont know why its not working anymore

  • XDC error while running test program FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE

    Hi, all.
We are on ECC 6.0 backend single stack and EP6 on NW04 SP17. I have installed the ADS on the java stack on EP6. However, I could not get the XDC working. Note that I am just using http for the ADS, not https.
When I run the test programs like FP_TEST_00, FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE and FP_CHECK_HTTP_DATA_TRANSFER on the ABAP side, it keeps giving me error:
    #1.5#000802104262006000000015000005F0000453556EDC6093#1217526304263#com.adobe.AdobeDocumentServices#com.adobe/AdobeDocumentServices#com.adobe.AdobeDocumentServices#ADSUser#226#SAP J2EE Engine JTA Transaction : [045ffffffc4ffffffbe0006]###67a637e05f2811dda73c000802104262#SAPEngine_Application_Thread[impl:3]_6##0#0#Error#1#/System/Server#Plain###Processing exception during a "Render" operation.
Request start time: Thu Jul 31 13:45:03 EDT 2008
    com.adobe.ProcessingError: No <Render><Output><XDC> specified
However, other checks like http://<server>:<port>/AdobeDocumentServices/Config, FP_PDF_TEST_00 and http://<server>:<port>/sap/bc/fp/form/layout/fp_test_00.xdp, are successful.
I noticed that the AdobeDocumentServices is missing on the ECC6 since it is single stack. But the folder exists on the EP6 server. From my readings, the XDC is called via RFC against the  FP_ICF_DATA_<SID> destination which I have already setup in EP6.
So I am really out of idea. Can you please help?
    Thanks,
    Jonathan.

Well, I am pretty familiar with the ADS config guide now.
The RFC connection used by Adobe is ADS on sm59. I can run connection test without a problem.
By the way, the AdobeDocumentServices directory under SYS\global has the following sub-dir:
    DataManagerService
    DestProtoService
    FontManagerService
    lib
    LicenseSupportService
    PDFManipulation
    RenderErrorlog
    ServicesNatives2
    TrustManagerService
    XMLFormService
I have to create the RenderErrorlog manually. Also, the folders DataManagerService and DestProtoService, RenderErrorlog are empty. Can you check your server and see if you have files underneath these folders?
I am suspecting something is corrupted on the system because I took over the system from someone.
    Thanks,
    Jonathan.

  • Unknown Error: PDF_TEST_00   not returned Responds

    Hi Gurus,
I am trying to execute some AIF using the T Code: FMBB, but just before calling the form itself, my testing program got stuck and does not longer respond.  No messages, no outputs, nothing after that.
Have been to all of the step in this link:  (Adobe Document Services http://help.sap.com/erp2005_ehp_03/helpdata/EN/37/504b8cbc2848a494facfdc09a359b1/frameset.htm)
-Others steps I have done so far:  Checking the IIOP Service and the Startup Properties
    -  I  execute the Report FP_TEST_00.
Here is when it all comes, run the report, choosing a printer up to the
        Parameters for printing AIF(Device Type: Post2)   then I got a never-ending wait
cursor so the system is not longer responding. No Errors, no output, nothing at all.
I come to check the other test to resolve the error, according to the guide:
           1.    Checking the ABAP Connection:
                     execute the report      FP_PDF_TEST_00
so good!, the report shows the version number of the Adobe document services as the guide says.
           2.      Checking the User and Password:
                      Server  : dr6server.
                        J2EE Instance : 03.
                        Port : 50300.
                        SID : DRA
                        URL = http://dr6server:50300/AdobeDocumentServices/Config
Enter the URL in Web browser and Choose rpdata(test.…)., enter the ADSUser and
password and the system displays the version number of the Adobe document
services in the response area, test successful!
          3.     Checking the Destination Service and the ICF Service
                      execute the report   FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE.
                      - Here the problem comes again,  I just run the report above then got no respond at all. I could
Identify the line code where it does not continue:
                         l_soapresponse = adsobject->run( ).
    -     Apparently there are problems with the configuration of ADS, although already set ADS_AGENT with his   role SAP_BC_FP_ICF, ADS_User with his role ADS_CALLERS, FP_ICF_DATA_ <SID> already been created in J2EE , install and configure the credentials of ADOVE successfully, the HTTP connection(RFC Destination  'ADS') was created successfully , and check the ICF in browser and the visual j2ee administrator and a test was successful only lacking in AS ABAP that gives me the error.
    -     Configuration of the Web Service for Basic Authentication  have been use as step by step guide
configuration But the problem with the reports:
                                     FP_TEST_00,FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE.  remains.
Can anyone please explain me where and how should I set the ADS to make this test successful.
    Thanks in advance
    regards

    Hello  Maarten ,
first of all thank you for your quick reaction.
I run the program both ways, but there is no single answer falls into a cycle as infinity,
The service was created in the visual Administrator previously said that according to what the guide configuration, in the visual amdministrador -> Services -> Destinations. I introduced FP_ICF_DATA_DRA (ID system is DRA).
assign a name = "DR6SERVER" and port = "8003" which I found in the T-code SICF, authentication Basic client = "300" user = ADS_AGENT and passw (previously established with AS Abap Role = "SAP_BC_FP_ICF" probe save and test and the response was "GET HTTP response code 200" Test success.
but still not responding the report.
    even probe "http://DR6SERVER:8003/sap/bc/fp/form/layout/fp_test_00.xdp"
both in the Administrator visual-> Services -> Destinations and in the browser and generates response.
Do you have another ideas solving my problem?
    Thanks in advance
    regards
    Miguel

  • Adobe form is opening outside SAP

Hi all, I was wondering if anybody has the answer to this issue, I believe it's quite simple, but I haven't got the solution yet.
I just finished the configuration of ADS. Everything is working fine: test reports, connections, ABAP Stack, JAVA Stack (separated servers), Users, etc.
When I execute the report FP_TEST_00, the form preview is opened in Adobe Reader, outside SAP.
I think it has to do with the Reader configuration.
    Thank you for your help!

Hi Christian, thanks for your answer.
I already tried that. When the flag is checked on the Reader and I execute FP_TEST_00, an error message pops up:
"There is a problem With Adobe Acrobat/Reader. Please exit Adobe Acrobat/Reader and try again."
Then, the PDF is displayed in the Reader outside SAP. I was searching for this error with no luck so far.
    The Reader Version is 8.1.2.
Version from FP_PDF_TEST_00: Version Information: 800.20070708051308.406522
    Thank you!

  • HTTP response contains unexpected content-type  (100.101)

    hello guys,
I need your help on configuring adobe document services which runs on as java 7.3 with a netweaver 7.4 system.
I didnt find documentation for NW7.4, I used this link:
Adobe Document Services for Form Processing - SAP Library
894009 - Adobe Document Services: Configuration
according to note 944221 - Troubleshooting if problems occur in forms processing
    I ran:
    sa38>FP_TEST_00>>the error is
ADS: SOAP Runtime Exception: CSoapExceptionTransport :(100101)
    /sa38>FP_PDF_TEST_00>error
SYSTEM ERROR: SOAP Framework error: SOAP Runtime Exception:
CSoapExceptionTransport : HTTP response contains unexpected
    content-type  (100.101).
I already check note 1587941 - ADS does not respond or error "CSoapExceptionTransport.."
    and enableSSL is false.
the only thing thats different in my case: the rfc ADS does not work with path prefix
    /Adobedocumentservices/Config?style=rpc
    I left it blank.
    thx for any idea
    chris

    Hi Chris,
What is the connection test response of ADS RFC(404,405,403,200..)?
FP destination services are maintained with correct ADS_AGENT password?
to test prefix path try the URL http://<adshost>:port/prefixpath (eg. http://smprod:50000/Adobedocumentservices/Config?style=rpc)

But when i run FP_PDF_TEST_00 program it is giving me the Version information.
I'am unable to find a solution. Please guide me
    With Regards,
    Pradeep.

    checkout #944221 in particular:
    4.  Check the settings for the destination service
To use the destination service on AS Java, settings are required on AS ABAP and AS Java. Therefore, this test contains several steps.
                  4. 1 In your ABAP system (transaction SA38), call the FP_CHECK_DESTINATION_SERVICE program (available as of NW2004s SPS 08).
                           a) First of all, execute the program without selecting the option "With Destination Service".
The system processes a test form in the background and displays the size of the generated PDF. It does not use the destination service in the process.
                           b) Now select the option "With Destination Service" and execute the program again. The system processes the test form, using the destination service.
If the system displays the same message (file size of generated PDF) as it does in a), the configuration of the destination service is correct.
-> Proceed to the next point (5).
If the system issues an error message, the configuration of the destination service is incorrect.
                        -> Carry out tests 4.2 to 4.4.
                  4. 2 Check whether the /default_host/sap/bc/fp and /default_host/sap/bc/fpads ICF services are active. (transaction SICF). If this service is not active, activate it. Note: As of NW2004s Support Package Stack 12, when you bundle in distributed systems (in other words, for "non-double-stack installations"), it is optional to use the fpads ICF service
4.3 Check the settings for the ICF service.
                           a) Enter the following URL in your Web browser:
                        http://<server>:<port>/sap/bc/fp/form/layout/fp_test_00.xdp
< server> is the AS ABAP, <port> is the HTTP port of the AS ABAP. (you can determine this information using transaction SICF).
                           b) In the dialog box for the user, enter ADS_AGENT and the relevant password.
If the ICF service settings are correct, the browser displays the layout information of the FP_TEST_00 form in XML format.
                        -> Proceed with point 4.4.
If the browser displays an error message instead of the XML file, a configuration error occurred.
-> Check whether the user ADS_AGENT exists on the AS ABAP, and if the user has the required authorizations and roles (SAP_BC_FP_ICF).
4.4. Check the settings for the destination service on AS Java
                           a) Call Visual Administrator and navigate to Services -> Destinations
(detailed instructions are available on the Help Portal at: http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/37/504b8cbc2848a494facfdc09a359b1/frameset.htm ->Adobe Document Services Configuration Guide -> Configuring the Web Service -> Securing Access to the Web Service -> Creating or Changing the Destination Service)
                           b) Extend the setting in field URLunder Connection Settings to:
                           http://<server>:<port>/sap/bc/fp/form/layout/fp_test_00.xdp
(The <server> and <port> that are already available refer to the AS ABAP.)
                           c) Choose 'Save and Test'
                           d) The system calls the ABAP system that stores the form templates.
If the settings are correct, the system issues the message: "HTTP GET response code 200 Content Type/xml."
                        -> Proceed with point 5.
If the system issues an error message, the configuration of the destination service is incorrect.
-> Contact your system administrator and ask them to correct the settings for the destination service.
                           e) Do not forget to change the URL back to http://<server>:<port>.

  • Error while testing  FP_TEST_00

    Hi,
I configured ADS in my machine where ABAP and JAVA stacks are running on same WAS.
I did so many times but i never faced this error while testing FP_TEST_00 program.
    i'am getting this errror
    "ADS:com.adobe.processingexception:problem accessing d(200101)
    Message No.FPRUNX001"
I checked with the sap notes and some blogs on FPRUNX001 error and i followed those documents where i couldnt find any problem in configuration.
i think problem is with adsuser id but all the necessary security roles and groups are assigned to ADSUser as per the document.
Please guide me with a solution.
    With Regards,
    Pradeep.B

You are saying abt the HTTP destination which we need to create in Visual Admin right.
Yes i created that FP_ICF_DATA_SID and the url maintained is http://hostname(Abap):portnumber (http port of ABAP),user ADS_AGENT and its password are maintained and when i click on save and test it is giving me the succesfull message.
Infact i tested by extending the url http://hostname:portnumber/sap/bc/fp/fp_test_00.xdp
it is showing me the success message.
    yes it NW 7.0

    Thyagu,
Check the ADS configuration guide to verify if you have followed all the steps mentioned there like Installing Credentials, creatinf ADSUser, Destination service etc?
You may also want to check if all Adobe related services are running in SICF?

    I had same problem
I made a mistake in VA that insted of destination system i used java system SID for the connection FP_ICF_DATA_<SID>.
now i changed the connection to ABAP system in VA . FP_ICF_DATA_<SID>.
Example : lets say your java system is TTS and your ABAP system is TTR
initiall i configured FP_ICF_DATA_TTS in my java system by using VA but this is wrong.
then i changed to FP_ICF_DATA_TTR  with client information and user information. and this is worked for me.
i made sure the ADS users are working on both the systems and these users are created as service users insted system users.
now my ADS services are working fine
