FPM view missing

Hello all,
I am following the wiki

to create custom MSS iviews.
I was able to reach upto the 4th step successfully, ie, created a WD application, craeted an FPM view and added it to the standard FPM Application "General Information"
But in the 5th step of the wiki, where I am trying to create a Webdynpro iview for the FPM application, the FPM view that I added to this FPM application fails to appear in the list.
Can someone tell me where I might be going wrong and how I can create a WD iview for the modified FPM application?

No no. Most of the time it works. Only sometime when it doesnt work I think a restart would be required.
Actually so far, I have faced that problem twice. The first time I restarted the server. The second time, I just created a new FPM view and added it again to the FPM application. Since you dont have access to the server, you can also try this.

How do I get this feature working again? I am reluctant to move to iTunes 10.7 because I don't trust Apple at the moment.

My suggestion:
1) Always using MAC AIR with the power plug in.
2)Don' let the power level of battory fall under 30% percentage.
3)If the MAC can't be recharged now, just let it be with power plugged, WAIT...

Couldn't locate them in web dynpro layout or FPM Views and application in Portal Content.

Hi,
you should describe a little bit more what you want to do (e.g. navigation buttons or buttons in containers like e.g. in ESS Address). FPM usually has a quite high reusability so button components are often reused. In case there is already a button component that has everything you need you can just use the self-service administrator to add this view to the right perspective in your FPM application. In case you talk about those buttons that are in the Overview screens than those buttons are dynamically generated.
In case you just want to have your own button then create this button and fire an FPM event from it. You need to add this event to the FPM view configuration in the self-service administrator. Alternatively you can create a button component and reuse it later.

Unable to view missed calls

Hi, until recently, when I press the call button, i was able to veiw the made calls, calls received and missed calls. But strangely from the past three days, I am unable to view missed calls where as I am able to view the made and received calls!! please help!!

having the same problem here! and the service centre is not ready to help without paying. They say since the handset was not sold by m/s Redington India, they cannot help!!

Add FPM View Buttons to custom FPM Screens

Where are FPM View Buttons ?
I want to add few FPM Screens created them and added them to the roadmap too, i can navigate to these via road map itself - works fine.
But where are actual FPM buttons , i didn't see them in webdynpro code and neither do i see them in Self-service config of the FPM Applications/view ?
I want to add FPM Buttons to the Custom FPM Screens.
( had already added the event links via Self-service config of the FPM Applications)
Also, where do the FPM Buttons reside for the rest of standard the screens ( do convey , if any usefull material / link )

Sorry, but I'm a bit fuzzy about your ranting. I have been teaching Photoshop for 20 years, I use InDesign, Illustrator, Audition, Edge Animate frequently, and you seem to claim that those applications are intuitive and Captivate is not? It has not the same interface, which I regret, but is certainly not as difficult as Photoshop and other Adobe applications. The only problem with Captivate is that everyone expects to be able to use it without any learning time. You want a powerful tool, a Swiss knife with many tools and you'll need to take some time to learn it. Paint is much easier than Photoshop, don't expect Captivate to be at the level of Paint, common misunderstanding.
As I answered already to one of your other questions: do you know how eLearning assets should look? It is not Powerpoint, because your other thread was to have a feature of a presentation tool in Captivate. It can be done, as I explained, but that is using a knife as a screwdriver, it is not meant to be used like that.
The only interactive object that can be used on a master slide is the shape button. Problem is that an object on the master slide doesn't have an ID, that you can not time it and if you give it a pausing point that will always be at the end of the slide. Another way of using a shape button is to put it on the first slide and time it for the rest of the project, always on top. That way it has an ID, which means you can control it with an (advanced/shared) action. But if you have slides with different duration, the shape button will always have the same timeline duration on each slides, and its pausing point will be at the same moment.

ICal 'Show time in month view' Month view missing text!

Hi I hope you can help me!
Since syncing to .mac last week my calendar has developed a problem which is happening on both of my Macs.
Some of my entries and particular words are not displaying properly when I enable 'Show time in month view'. Words at the end of the entries are missing! (they are fine with the times disabled). Can someone please offer an insight into this as I just bought my Mac and use it for my business.

I have the same problem. I want to print the month view like it was in my older version of Ical and it won't do it. I want to print what I see.

Weekly view missing!!!

Alright… i am really happy with my iphone, BUT there is a major function missing in the calendar function. There is no weekly view! I hope the smart people at apple will soon come up with an update...

I don't know if this will ever carry over to the iPhone Calendar, but the iPad Calendar seems to have a week view mode:

List/Column Browser view missing from Music in Itunes 11

The preference to 'show list view in all media types' is checked, and list view shows up everywhere except where I need it most - in music.
Anyone gotten it to appear?
That's a pretty big bug to miss. I *REALLY* hope it wasn't a deliberate design decision.

There is sort of a way to get that old UI back: smart playlists
I use "genre" as a selector:
Show sidebar and "Artist list" as viewing style:
It is just a work around, needs plenty of time to set up, does not work with remote Apps on iPad & iPhone, nor does it help managing your music on iDevices.
Some thoughts about the new UI:
Music is an emotional experience and logic + brain should not be involved.
Listening to a large music library with iTunes 10.x is like:
What is my mood ? OK, select genre, get a list of artists - hmm, OK, today I like to listen to "XXX"
Listening to a large music library with iTunes 11 is more like:
What is my mood ? OK, select genre (if I find the settings) and BAM Thousands of Albums get slapped into my face. Help !!! I can't decide because it is too much. OK, OK, STOP, I DON'T LISTEN TO MUSIC NOW. (it is a really unpleasant feeling).
The default way to handle things in iTunes 11 now is the search field. But this is like:
What is my mood (emotion)? Hmm, which artist / song fits into this category (logic, use brain, need to remember, no emotional support but stress) ? Type name into search field (again brain, not emotion)...
There are some work arounds like smart playlists as described above, but they only work on the Mac, not on the iPad. And once upgraded to the new UI it will stop working on the iPone, too.
The old 3 column view made it easy to stay on the emotional side and did support my decisions without involving logic and brain. The new interface forces me to use brain and logic when I want to travel on emotions only. So Apple, please
bring back the 3 column view: Genre:Artist:Album (the one on top of the title view is simply wrong on a large screen & library)
bring back the old appearance as an option
and while you are at it, please heve a "genre" for iPhone/iPad Apps, to.

Query View missing in the BI Content

I want to install a 3.x Web Template which is using a Query View as the dataprovider, but the Query View is not available as D-version and hence the Web Template throws an error that the query view is missing and hence cannot execute the web Template.
I have checked in the tables : RSZWVIEW and there is an entry but there is not object in RSORBCT to install.
SAP BI_CONT version 704 level : 003
When i try to activate the D-version of the query view the it gives the following message:
*Object 0CSAL_C07_Q0101_V01 (Query View) could not be collected for object ()
Message no. RSO296
Diagnosis
You have collected objects in the BI Metadata Repository. Associated objects for object of type have also been collected. Object 0CSAL_C07_Q0101_V01 of type Query View was among these objects.
However, this object 0CSAL_C07_Q0101_V01 of type Query View is not available in the metadata repository.
System Response
Object 0CSAL_C07_Q0101_V01 of type Query View is ignored in further collections. The links for object of type are incomplete. This may result in you not being able to activate this object.
Procedure
If this error occurs while you are installing BI Content, an error may have occurred during the delivery. Inform SAP. In all other cases, check that the object has not been deleted by another user during collection, for example.*

Go to Datasource Repository(RSA2)................give the datasorce name and click on display.......from there u will get the extract structure name......copy it ...........go to SE11.............In the table field give the Extract structure name.............and click on the Where used list in the top.................from there u will get all the program name/Function module............where this extract structure is used...........copy that name and open it through SE37................

ABAP Dictionary Activation Ended with errors - View missing

Hi All,
I transported a table with additional new fields to production system but the transport log shows that
the table could not be activated due to missing View /1SAP1/CNV_S0355.
Does anyone know the root cause for this?
When i check the table status in production system, it's active and the new field is added to the table
successfully. Nothing is missing or no serious issue arise when data was maintained in the field.

Open that Custom table in Developement environment and click on Activate.
Check if it displaying any activation errors.
ALso check the following :
Open the Custom table > Click on Utilites>Click on Enhancement Category --> Click on 'Can Be Enhanced (Deep)'
--> Click on OK.
And Activate again and see if you have any activate errors.

PSE8 Organize Folder View Missing Files

I have some JPG files in my catalog and hard drive that don't show up in the Organizer when I'm viewing by Folder Location and have the folder where they are located selected in the folder tree. If I change Preferences to view all files grouped by folder then the JPG files show up under the correct folder. If I switch to thumbnail view and then search for the files by their name they are found and the path indicated by their properties is correct. I tried to re-add the JPG files to the catalog but it knows they already are there so they weren't added.
The last thing to try would be to delete them from the catalog and add them in again. I thought I'd raise the question first in case there is some other process to use. I'm not sure how many other JPG files have this same issue since I just stumbled on this in the first place.

Folder Location view in PSE 6, 7, and 8 is buggy and often shows the wrong contents of folders:

Deleting and reimporting the "missing" photos won't help. Adobe doesn't care enough about this bug to fix it.

Adobe Content Viewer missing

Hi When i try to preview my folio with the preview option located in the folio builder pane in Indesign Cs 5.5 it says it cant find the adobe content viewer. Can anyone help

I am having the exact same issue as you are in InDesign CS5.5. My Adobe Content Viewer application is also missing and is not in Applications>Adobe. I am also getting the same error message as you are when trying to use Folio Preview. So I don't repost everything here, pls. view my current thread here. I reinstalled the Folio Producer tools to no avail, and then tried to install the Adobe Content Viewer
by drilling down in the Folio Producer installer (AdobeDigitalPublishing-mul > payloads > AdobeContentViewer-mul > AdobeContentViewer.air) but was not able to because I am now getting THIS following message:
"This application cannot be installed because this installer has been mis-configured. Please contact the application author for assistance."
I am on a Mac with OS 10.7.

Conversation View Missing

Had an update to mail a few weeks ago and ever since my conversation window has gone missing, forcing me to open every email I want to read.
How do I get the conversation view back!!?

Saw conversation and immediately thought of iChat. The preference file would be a last ditch effort.
Move the cursor to the right side of the window until it turns into this:
Then click and drag to the left to open the conversation/message pane.

Content Viewer missing when InDesign is installed via Packager: how to install it? (Windows)

Hello there,
we're having an issue deploying InDesign CC via Packager on 9+ Windows7 workstations: Content Viewer is missing - error when previewing a Folio. (I've verified it can not be included in the package)
I've suggested administrators to manually install DPS Desktop tools downloaded from the Adobe website (Adobe - DPS Desktop Tools : For Windows) over the deployed InDesign, they report install is not successful.
All other CC applications work, including InDesign (updated to latest Feb 2015 release). Adobe AIR seems to be installed.
User has admin roles. Any suggestion about the proper installation workflow? Can we install Content Viewer only?.

How to view missing master files?

How can i view just the missing files so i can delete them? i have some missing files and i can't delete them for some reason.

Trying to diagnose something like this third hand probably isn't very effective. But when you open Terminal you are "in" your home directory. If you then issue this command:
cd Desktop
and hit return you will then be "in" your Desktop folder. If you then issue the list command:
ls -al
you will get a list of all the files and folders that are in the Desktop folder. If he sees everything, then the stuff is there. He could try creating a new folder in his home folder, call it something like fromDesktop, and then issue this command (this assumes he is still "in" the Desktop folder):
mv * ~/fromDesktop
This will move everything from the Desktop folder into the fromDesktop folder. A list command will verify things:
ls -al ~/fromDesktop
If all his stuff is listed, but he still can't see it in its new location using the Finder, then it could be that somehow the invisible bit got set.
And for Finder's sake, tell him to stop saving all that stuff to the Desktop! Put stuff in folders in his home folder. I've seen cases where excessive numbers of files dropped on the Desktop brought the Finder to its knees for many hours. Every single thing on the Desktop is treated as a window by the Finder, and having a ton of stuff there is needlessly slowing things down. And he should be backing up every night, not every couple of weeks. There are many programs available that will do this automatically. If he is in business he should be using one. Not to mention burning separate CDs of things for every client.
