FR printing changing the POV automatically

Hi,
Is it possible to change the POV when printing a report.
Say we create a report for one Cost Centre (POV).
If we need to print the same report for 20 Cost centres in a one go without changing the POV each and everytime,
How we do it using FR 9.3.

No, the report book will contain all the POV/cost centres. Then when you print it will contain them all.
You still can't change POV when printing. (Creating a book is a way around what you want to do to get the same result).

Hi,
From the ribbon Menu, select 'Query Designer'. Here, you can drag and drop required dimensions into rows & columns and click 'Apply Query' button, a new adhoc report will be created.

Can osb change the tape automatically ?

My tape driver is HP MSL6030, only one driver, and six data tapes and one clean tape in the driver, Can the osb change the tapes automatically? I mean , I make a schedule, then at the schedule time, the driver automount the tape, when the writting finished, the driver can change the tape by itself?

I'm not familiar with this unit, but the MS6030 is supported by OSB, so yes, the tapes will be changed automatically.
Your schedules will be associated with particular media families (via the triggers) and OSB will automatically select media from the appropriate family to perform the backup.

Go to SE11--> In the table click on Extras --> click on Enhancement categeroy
--> Select the Can be Enhanced (Deep ) and click on OK and check if it resolves your enhancement issue.

IPhone 4 changes the clock automatically while i was disabling it!!

My iPhone 4 is changing the clock automatically and i adjust it an hour earlier because my country decided not to change the time to summer so i have to make it an hour earlier.. anyway when i adjust it manually it turn back automatically to the original time and i dont know what to do :S:S any help??

Quit out of iTunes
Go to the hosts file. For Mac OS X this is located at: /etc/hosts or /private/etc/hosts and in Windows it is located at: c:\windows\system32\drivers\etc\hosts
Open the hosts file with Administrative privileges so that changes can be made and saved (eg: sudo nano /etc/hosts)
Look for a line that resembles something like this:
74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com
Put a # in front of that to comment it out, making it now look like this:
# 74.208.10.249 gs.apple.com
Save the hosts file
Flush DNS cache and restart iTunes
To flush the DNS cache: Open Terminal and type dscacheutil -flushcache <Return>

Error when changing the POV period of a recurring journal

We recently upgraded from HFM 9.3.1 to 11.1.1.3 and are going through our first monthly close with the upgraded application. Everything had been working fine until today when one of the application administrators attempted to post a recurring journal. He was able to open the recurring journal, but after he set the POV to the current month, he received the following message:

I am particularly interested in the last line of the log, unique constraint (HFM.PK_HOLX_JL_1_2010) violated</Param></PSec></ESec></EStr>. It appears as though the Oracle DB is throwing a unique constraint issue, but I'm not sure why, or how to go about troubleshooting the issue. Any help or guidance would be much appreciated!

If you have the clip in your viewer window
to change the speed it is in themotion tab.
I also use the right click alot and run in to this problem.
You could just pull the clip to the end of your timeline,
adjust the speed,
then place the clip back where you want it.
But that is not an efficent work flow

App Store changing the country automatically

Hi,
In my house there are 4 iPhone 5 devices, all of them were bought from Apple online store in the U.K.
We are having problems with the App Store, It's automatically switching to the U.K. store and somtimes to the French store, and we see the prices of all apps in GBP not in the U.S. Dollars when it changes to the U.K. store,and in euros when it changes to the French store,
while all of our App Store accounts are registered in the Kuwait App Store.
It doesn't allow us to update any app, or to download any free or paied apps when it swithes !!
Each time it switches, we have to sign out from:
Settings >> iTunes & App Store.
And then sign in again.
And sometimes the previous method doesn't work ! So I have to do it twice or more !
I'm also having this problem with an iPhone 4S and an iPad 2 (Both running iOS 6) !!
Is there any way to stop it from switching ?
Another problem is that my App Store in my iPad 2 switches from iPad App Store to iPhone App Store, and so happens with the App Store on the iPhone.

They need to zero out the balance due so you can change the country.

When upgrade to SP19 change the password automatically

I have a strange problem, i´m upgrading the portal from SP14 to SP19... I do the same in other systems without problems, but now, when upgrade the portal and restart the j2ee enginee, change the password of j2ee_admin and SAPJSF automatically, and lock the users... I try several times, and always the same, change the password and lock the users, why?

Bookmark which changes the date automatically to the acutal date

Hi,
the bookmark funktion is used very much by our users. But they have one problem: There is no possibilty to run the bookmark with the actual date and not with the date when the bookmark was created.
Is there any posiblity to change this?

Hi 
In the Web Application Designer, on the left side, you can see 2 boxes. In the first box you can see a list of Standard Items and in second box below it you can see the properties of item you select. 
In this 2nd box on bottom left side, you will be able to see a dropdown to select desired web item. Select the top most node (your web template) there. Thus whatever properties you can see now in that box are the properties of your web template. These properties are displayed in 2 tabs: General and Web Item. 
Click on Web Item. Expand the propety box Entries in Context Menu. 
Here you should be able to see 2 properties: Bookmark and Bookmark with Displayed Data. If you are selecting Always Displayed as values for both these properties, then you can create both the types of bookmarks from the context menu after executing the report. If you set the property Bookmark with Displayed Data then you can see the historical data as of the moment bookmark was created.

Project Server changes the permissions automatically

I've already searched the internet for a solution and unfortunately haven't found anything. Following case: The overnight patch changes every time the given permissions. That means that the patch deletes some permissions or that he gives permissions to people
who shouldn't have permissions on specified projects. Do you have any idea what could be the issue?

Roman - have you got either the Enterprise Resource Pool or one or more Security Groups synchronising with Project Server?
If you do then you may be experiencing situations where a user has been removed from an AD group and as a result is removed or marked as inactive in a security group. Active Directory has primacy over project server, changes in AD impose upon Project Server.

Can Firefox guess the input language being used and change spelling dictionaries automatically?

I have three input languages and their dictionaries enabled in Firefox. However, when I start typing in Spanish, the whole text will be underlined as having spelling mistakes because if the dictionary is set to English. I am constantly writing in either English, Spanish, and/or French, and find it annoying to have to change the dictionary manually. Is there a way that Firefox can detect the input language being used and change the dictionary automatically?

Is it possible to change the column headings when ever i execute the query

in the runtime i want to change the column headings is that is possible.
Ex: if write a timestampadd(.......) function in the table heading is that change the dates automatically whenever i execute the query?

bbfff 6 10It looks like the dates are values in a column? Put that column in the Columns section of the Pivot Table and Product Name in the Rows section and it should produce what you are looking for.

Change battery_bar color automatically in conky

I realize this post is ancient but I found it while searching for the same, so for anyone who lands here and has the desire to change the color automatically based on battery level here's what I'm using. This goes green to 45% orange to 25% and red under that, when it hits 10% and lower it will start to flash.

How to change the tab of a jTabbedPane when action performed

The scenario is like this : I have a jTabbedPane with 2 tabs. I want, when an action is performed in one tab (for example a button is clicked on tab1) to change the tab automatically (to make tab2 visible). How can i do this?

I've read JTabbedPane API before i post the message, but unfortunately i couldn't find a solution to my problem. I tried to use the methods grabFocus and requestFocus to change the focus of the application, but it didn't work.
