Fractal designs like these? Possible with any software?

Ok... There are two type of fractal/chaos images I'd like to make.. to import into photoshop for some work of mine..
I have the master suite (student edition) so if not photoshop illustrator would be fine, I'll convert to jpg for what I need.
1. A fractal/chaos design that appears to move (as an illusion) (jpg or normal image file)

I just happen to know of a guy (through the net only) that dedicated a web site to fractal and software for creating fractals. Or I should say dedicated to mathmatical graphics.
The site hasn't done anything in quite a while but as far as i know all the links are still good.

MyDAQ fails Self-Test and will not work with any software

I cannot get the myDAQ to communicate properly. I did everything I could to make sure that the device was detected by the computer. It shows up in Device Manager under Data Acquistition Devices as NI myDAQ and in NI MAX as "myDAQ1", but I receive errors when trying to use it with any NI program.
Trying to self-test or reset the device in MAX gives these errors:
-The self test failed. -88705 The specified device is not present or is not active in the system. The device may not be installed on this system, may have been unplugged, or may not be installed correctly.
-There was a problem resetting the device. Error code: 80040383.
It also gives this error when trying to use the Elvis Oscilloscope:
-Error -200324 occurred at ELVISmx_DAQmx Create Channel (AI-Voltage-Basic).vi:1
Possible reason(s):
NI-DAQmx is unable to communicate with the device. Make sure the device is present in and accessible to the system, is not currently being reset, and is not reserved by another driver such as Traditional NI-DAQ (Legacy).
I have uninstalled and reinstalled and repaired all installed NI products twice. I updated to NI-DAQmx 9.8.0 and am using NI Elvis 4.5. I have checked NI Device Loader and mDNS Responder Service in Services and everything is running properly. I have also tried Reset Configuration Data in NI MAX several times. I turned Fast Startup off as suggested in one article. I have tried plugging it into every single USB port on my computer; all 8 of them. The blue led is on when plugged in, but I cannot figure out why it will not work with any of the software. I am running Windows 8 Pro 64-bit. Also, it completely works on the school computers running Windows 7 without any problems. I would like to have it functioning with all the NI software purchased, but all I want to do is use the oscilloscope software for now. It has honestly been way too much work and a huge loss of time for something that should work out of the box. Please help me resolve this, thanks.

I had already read that article so it wasn't anything I hadn't tried. I did, however, uninstall both NI DAQmx and NI ELVISmx, ran the registry cleaner and then plugged my device in. Now it shows up as USB Flash Firmware Updater. This is actually what it showed the first time I plugged this in out of the box. After much troubleshooting I was finally able to get it to at least recognize it as a myDAQ. This is problem I know others have had.
To answer your questions:
Does the Test Panels work at all?
I am not sure, I didn't try it before uninstalling. Now the Test Panels isn't an option because it is recognized as the Flash Firmware Updater.
Have you tried to delete the device in MAX?
Once again, I cannot because it shows up as Flash Firmware Updater.
Which is the color of the icon on the left side of “myDAQ1”?
It was green before the uninstall. Now it shows the USB symbol.
I tried deleting the driver. When I plugged the device back it, Windows started automatically trying to load a driver for it. Now it shows as NI myDAQ with a yellow exclamation symbol. In MAX it shows as NI myDAQ with a USB symbol. Under Driver Details it says "Windows does not have a driver associated with your device."
What folder can I manually point Device Manager to in order to load the correct driver?

Webcam cannot be found with any software

I bought new Macbook Pro 15inch in one month back. When I tested HD camera at the start of using laptop it was functionaly very good. After one month generally usage any software can't find internal HD camera. I tried System profiler. The HD camera wasn't be found. I'm using OS Lion 10.7.1 with latest security update. I replaced original memory 4GB for 8GB and original HDD for Intel SSD. These changes was made by authorized service center. When I ask service center about this problem I got answer It can be hardware problem. Did anyone have same problem with HD camera?

You can download the setup manual and software that you need.
Look on the bottom of the AirPort Extreme for the Model Number. It's A....... something.
Post back with the model number and the exact operating system you are running on your Mac or PC.

MyDAQ passes Self-Test but will not work with any software

I am currently having issues getting the myDAQ to interface with ELVISmx Instruments. My first attempt followed the included white paper step by step. When that did not work I moved on and tried installing (one at a time of course) several different versions of ELVISmx (14.0, 4.5, 4.3.2, 4.3.1, 4.2.1, and 4.1) and none of them have been able to interface correctly with the hardware. Additionally, I have tried installing the entire LabView suite provided by Georgia Institute of Technology, and several other NI applications associated with the myDAQ on the white paper.
The software installs have all completed successfully, the ELVSImx instrument launcher launches; however when I click on the DMM tool, or any other one, the application fails to load. A loading window pops up and the blue status bar scrolls but nothing ever happens. The application window never launches. I let it run over night thinking it might be confused or just really slow but nothing changed in the morning. The only way to exit out of the window is to end the task in the task manager.
In NI MAX, the hardware is recognized correctly and the "self test" feature returns that the myDAQ is functioning correctly. I have checked the Event Viewer for Windows applications and there do not appear to be any errors associated to any NI software.
I have exhausted all my resources in trying to get this to work but all of have done is frustrate myself and everyone I speak to about the issue.

The myDAQ requires the NI DAQmx drivers as well as NI ELVISmx. Have you tried installing NI DAQmx?

Is event handling possible with any object?

can i set a event notification to any object? say for example if i have a multidimensional array of strings can i associate a event handler with it so that when a different application or part of a code changes it's contents i can fire a method?

Hanged when burning any kind of discs with any softwares

good morning everyone
I am a freshman on Mac, and i have just brought it last week, it is a 20" C2D iMac. However, when i try to burn a CD-R or DVD-R, no matter i use Toast,LiquidCD,even the internal mac burner. It was just hanged and i can't even quit the burning process. The only thing i can do is to press the power button and restart my iMac
The incident happens without any error message or warning, the box was just showing "preparing for burning", the arrow can't move and everything just like stick on the screen.
There are no problem in reading CD/DVDs
what problem are there in my new iMac?

Imac freezes/crashes with any software

Purchased this imac (intel) december 2009. a few months later the freezing/crashing screen started. I've since downloaded all software upgrades for OS, itunes, word, excel, icloud, leopard, lion etc. I can't seem to get any answers thru the online/phone staff.
A few weeks ago I notice that my "toolbar" actually has white spots/dots and when it's about to freeze, this white spots/dots start to jiggle.
Also, when using Microsoft Word, the option button which is "blue" also have white spots/dots and it jiggles before freezing/crashing.
I'm so confused...Do I restore my whole computer? Do I take the desktop into the apple store?

Why are you convinced it's software? I would recommend running Apple Hardware Test in Extended Mode. Each pass will take 30-60 minutes in Extended Mode. If no errors appear after the first pass run in Extended Mode another 2-3 times to be sure. If you get errors write them down and make an appointment at your local Apple Store or AASP?

I am working with a modified version of the example "Acquire N - Multi-Analog Software Trig.vi" in Labview. The example retrieves data from 6 input channels each time an analog trigger occures. Is there any way to software trig (if possible with different treshold on each channel) on all channels in a logical OR-function?

Unfortunately you can only configure a trigger for a single channel. You could, in software, create a multiple-channel software trigger, but it will not be nearly as efficient.
Here is what you could do. You could call the the AI Start VI and AI Read VI in a while loop like the "Acquire-N-Multi-Analog Software Trig VI" but you would not be able to use the conditional retrieval part of the code. Initially, you could read only a few values from each channel and be comparing those values to each individual threshold within the loop. When all of the values have reached the thresholds, you could change (increase) the amount of values being read by AI Read.
This method would always be reading from the channels, but would not be returning a lot of data until all of
the channels have reached their threshold. Just a suggestion. I hope this helps.

You should be able to install the products on two computers as long as they are not running at same. Also the platform should be MAC.

My Mac will not let me install any software I download. In some cases (Like quicktime) i get a message that says "Can't create the folder" I have it with adobe air and its creating all sorts of issues. My software is up to date and I have 10.8.2.

A whole bunch of issues here.
I can't install any software. It started when iPlayer stopped working at all. This led me to try to update software versions such as Adobe Air to 3.5 (Failed) then quicktime player 7.6.6 as recommended (Failed) then the printer packed up and I have tried to install the downloaded software drivers for Canon from the Apple site (Failed again)
In all cases they let me download so I have the file, but not install.
Quicktime tells me it can't install a file "/var/folders/15....then a long string of numbers....ending in T//install.1347YKihUc".
The Canon Print Driver has a very similar message.
Adobe Air says "An error occurred whilst installing....contact my administrator" which is me and I am fine with it ;-)
Remember this all started because my iPlayer (and my printer) just stopped working and I have been trying to fix those.
I am a bit techy but not much.
Can anyone assist?

I have Firefox 3.6.6, and now that Firefox 4.0 is available, it crashes constantly. Sometimes less than 5 minutes after I open it. I have a Mac 10.4.11, so Firefox 4.0 isn't an option for me. When I asked Ff to check my plug-ins it said there was an error and to check back later. Twice.
Because I didn't have any (any) problems with my Ff before the upgrade became available, I am forced to question if Ff has done something to make the earlier version crash so you'll upgrade, but I can't afford to upgrade my Mac right now.
In the meantime, I do need a browser that works! I dislike Safari, Chrome is also not available on Mac 10.4.11, and Explorer is just plain not available on Mac.
Do you have any suggestions on how to fix my Firefox 3.6.6?

Depending on what your needs are, you may use Pages included in iWork or purchase it separately (usually there is an evaluation copy with any new mac, I guess) or try other publishing apps. I once used MS Publisher, I remember it was something like a more sophisticated word processor, right?
You may try the cheaper DTP iCalamus or Word for mac.

Aha! I have sorted it.
For those with similar problems, the solution is this:
Macintosh HD > Library > Audio > MIDI Drivers
Then delete DigiDioMidiDriver.plugin
