Frame error (?) with Albums

With any Album, I have an error (two black diamonds with white question marks inside) where the top and bottom of the frame for the album is. No matter what I do, I cannot get rid of those question marks. I want to use albums but am going nuts trying to fix this. Please help!

yeah i dont like how itunes organises my files
so i have folders for each artist, then playlists for each album!
i've thought of the rogue characters, so i've checked all the little idyiosyncracies that could be wrong with it
i managed to fix one of my artists by labelling the 'album artist' as the artist and that put them in the right order
but for another artist nothing i did put it in the correct order so i've been forced to add the 'year' in the playlist and organise it through that
i'm very anal when it comes to my organisation and i'd prefer it if things just worked lol
thanx for all your help, i guess now it just remains a mystery!

  • Error with Album Submenu

Just wondering if anyone was experiencing this bug or just me. When you scroll really fast in the Albums sub-menu of the Music menu in the Ipod classic so that the letter pops up, the letter being select and first letter of the Albums being shown is off by one letter. So if you stop at S, instead of showing all songs beginning with the letter S, the Ipod displays all songs beginning with the letter R. Also, if this is a bug if anyone knows whether or not Apple is aware of this.

Hi Sarah, and a warm welcome to the forums!
Try logging out of the iTunes Store, Quit iTunes...
Safe Boot from the HD, (holding Shift key down at bootup), it will try to repair your Disk Directory while the spinning radian is happening, so let it go, run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
Open Itunes, log into the Store, try again.

  • Error with font

Error with font as shown in the image below.
    http://i1085.photobucket.com/albums/j432/Lazmarr/Firefoxfontweird2.png

    Hello,
Firefox on Windows is now following display scaling options which may render text larger on high resolution displays.
You can adjust your screen resolution.
To modify it do the following:
    * Type '''about:config''' into the Firefox address bar and tap on the Enter key.
    * If the warning '''This might void your warranty''' appears, click '''I'll be careful, I promise'''.
    * Search for '''layout.css.devPixelsPerPx'''
    * Double-click on layout.css.devPixelsPerPx to modify its value. The default is -1.0 in Firefox 22 and above. Change it to '''1.0''' to make it work like in previous Firefox versions.
If necessary, further adjust the value in 0.1 or 0.05 steps. Use values between 1.0 and about 0.5 to reduce elements in size. Use values greater than 1.0 to increase size. For example, a value of 1.25 will increase font size to 125% to accommodate the default DPI setting in Windows 8. '''Double check the value that you enter.''' Setting a too small value will make everything disappear and a too large value will blow things up.
If web pages still need to be adjusted then you can look at the [https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/default-fullzoom-level/ Default FullZoom Level] or [https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/nosquint/ NoSquint] extension.
To adjust the font size for the user interface, you can use the [https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/theme-font-size-changer/ Theme Font & Size Changer] extension.
Did this fix your problems? Please report back to us!
    Thank you.

  • EPM Workspace EPM Inside Frame error- Please help ASAP!!

Can someone please help me resolve below error with EPM-
I've created resports in web analysis studio and am emailing smartcut URL to about 200 users. 3 of the users are getting below error-
"EPM Workspace cannot function inside of a frame"
pop ups are allowed; java is up to date; hyperion 11.1.2.1.102
    any tips?

    Hi,
The document can be found in support.oracle.com
I had pasted the contents though, which might be helpful
After embedding a Financial Reporting (FR) report or Web Analysis (WA) report to a Planning Task List using the Smartcut url in the Planning, and then try to open the report through Task list in Workspace, you will get the following error:
"EPM Workspace cannot function inside of a frame. Contact your system administrator."
    Cause
This issue is caused by unpublished BUG 11854015 "ERROR OPENING PLANNING TASK LIST REPORT WITH "WITHNAV_GET"
    Solution
Until a service fix is released to address this issue, the following workaround currently exists to resolve this issue:
    1. Use the below URL while specifying in the Smart Cut, http://server.example.com:19000/workspace/WorkspaceLaunch.jsp?uri=index.jsp%3fmodule%3dwksp.relatedcontent%26repository_path%3d%2Fmyfolder-name-here%2Fmy-report-name-here
    2. Replace myfolder-name-here with the name of the folder and my-report-name-here with the name of the report. The URL must be encoded.
    3. You must use %2F where you would use a slash in the repository path. You might also need to encode the report name due to the double-byte characters in the report name. The encoding for % is %25. So, if the character %8a appears in the SmartCut URL for the report, then the encoding for the URL above would be encoded %258a.
    Hope this helps,
    Thank you,
    Charles Babu J

  • I am getting "The contents cannot be displayed in a frame" error when tried to acces an external URL configured through launchpad(ESS). How to rectify it?

    Hi Guys,
We have configured ESS role through launchpad. For viewing payslips we are using an external URL configured through launchpad.
But when we try to access the configured link in ESS role, it displays "The contents cannot be displayed in a frame" .
Should I need to change some parameters/settings in Launchpad so that I could overcome this issue.
    Guidance required,

    Hi Shankar Reddy Chamala,
    Thanks for the alternate solution.
But the solution you have provided also ended up with the same error
"The content cannot be displayed in a frame" error.
Some additional information so that you could help me out,
The following is the test report .

The tester has mentioned the yellow highlighted property may be a cause for this issue.
I googled that the highlighted property is set by the website owners for security reasons.
    Shankar I have another doubt..
Is it feasible to create an HTML document to open the external link and link the HTML document to the iview and then configure the custom iview with launchpad.?
-->If yes can you please elaborate the steps for it.

  • Dropped Frame Errors When Time Remapping DVCPRO HD 720p60 Clips

Wondering if this is common due to FW800 throughput limitations or abnormal behavior.
I'm editing several DVCPROHD 720p60 projects and cutting them in FCStudio is like butter on a Dual 2 G5 connected to a FW800 G-Raid. I needed to time remap a clip and lo and behold, some dropped frame errors. Recreated and retimed several times with the same error. Dropping down the playback quality fixes this but wondering if it would be a normal occurance to see this with DVCPRO HD footage.
    Any thoughts?
    Dual 2 G5, 17 & 15 PB   Mac OS X (10.4.7)   Monitors, G-Raids, and Cameras, oh my!

It may be normal... a lot depends on which machine you're using, but If it drops frames, render it...

  • Buying a book in Iphoto 8 - error with IMG file

HI, I've just created a book using Iphoto8, and when I click on buy album I'm told there is an "error with IMG 6653 and to delete the photo or to replace it with another". I have deleted the photo from the book, I have even thrown it in the trash bin, and emptied the trash bin, closed Iphoto, turned off my computer, logged back onto Iphoto replaced the page with new photos, reviewed the entire book to ensure I had no yellow triangle warnings of low quality (there are NONE) and when I click on buy I get the same exact error "problem with IMG 6653, delete or to replace.
Can anyone please help with this problem?
    Thanks in advance!
    Heather

Have you tried creating a new book and starting over? It may be a damaged database file that is messed up. Event though you rebuild the library and database it might still have some reference to that photo that it can't get rid of.
If all else fails you can rebuild the library with iPhoto Library Manager. It uses the information in the AlbumData.xml file to create a new library, leaving your current one untouched. It will keep the albums, keywords, titles, comments but not book, slideshow, calendars, etc. It should remove any reference to that bad image file. Try the first suggestion and then we'll go from there.
TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.
I've created an Automator workflow application (requires Tiger), iPhoto dB File Backup, that will copy the selected Library6.iPhoto file from your iPhoto Library folder to the Pictures folder, replacing any previous version of it. It's compatible with iPhoto 08 libraries and Leopard. iPhoto does not have to be closed to run the application, just idle. You can download it at Toad's Cellar. Be sure to read the Read Me pdf file.

  • Using double frame mode with a Hamamatsu C8484-05 and a PCI 1426

    Hi,
    I am using a hamamatsu C8484-05 CCD camera (http://sales.hamamatsu.com/en/products/system-division/machine-vision/part-c8484-05.php), with a PCI-1426.
Despite the NI site saying that they are compatible, Hamamatsu tell me that the camera is only compatible with the 1426 using the NI drivers , and not the Hamamatsu vi's. (http://sales.hamamatsu.com/index.php?id=13200492&language=1&)
I located the .icd file for the C8484-05 on the NI website, and using IMAQ, i can control most of the settings using the set camera attribute vi.
However, there does not seem to be an option to set double exposure mode for PIV (i.e. 2 frame 2 exposure using double buffering)
Do I have to do this manually using the low-level buffer controls? For a previous camera (IDT X3) I was able to select this option in their provided VI.
If so, could you point me in the direction of some good tutorials for the use of buffers?
Additionally, is there an easy way to get all of the options without copying the text from each menu in MAX and using multiple case structures?
    Kind regards
    Joe Sherwood
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    Hi Zeyad,
The HiSense MkII is just a DANTEC relabelled C8484-05C, apparently it has some differences, but I have found none (except the price tag!). For me, the icd file in the previous post (and this one) work for both cameras.
The file I uploaded was a quick fix, but some of the options were not available when in PIV mode. The attached file is one i I improved at a later date, so you may have more luck with it (see note below) When you say you open it with IMAQ, what do you mean specifically? Vision Assistant, or IMAQ within labview? I personally check functionality using MAX, via the acquisition card (PCI 1426).
    So to answer your questions,
    1) If you just mean have I used it in LabVIEW, yes. It also works in Vision assistant and MAX
    2) I have used it to acquire double frame images with no problems
I have used the camera at full exposure, and it was fine, but of course this is dependent on the illumination. If you are using laser pulses and your room is sufficiently dark the exposure should not matter.
I should mention that the one problem I have had is that IMAQ within labview seems incapable of changing the camera mode from double to single, so I have to change it in MAX (I had a guy from LabVIEW look at this, but he couldn't solve it).
Perhaps I could help more if you gave me a little more idea about your setup/application/ details of the errors etc.
    Regards
    Joe
I could not upload an icd file (interesting choice from NI), so I have saved it as a txt, you will just have to odify the extension to use it

  • Why am I suddenly getting a "Dropped Frames" error?

    Hi,
For two years I was working on a large project in FCP 6 where I was able to do quite a bit of work without ever getting "dropped frames." Recently I deleted this entire project and loaded footage for a MUCH smaller project. This current project is MUCH less demanding. Fewer effects, fewer timelines to work with. Same exact system. Nothing has changed... except now... the mos rudimentary effects will give me dropped-frames upon playback. I know I can toggle a playback settings but how in the world is this suddenly necessary with a project that is 5% as demanding as my previous project??
In particular, the dropped-frames occur when I'm...
    * generating basic text and adding a fade to the text
    * cropping part of one shot
    The specs are the following:
    + MacPro 2.8gb 8-core, 16gb RAM, Mac OS X 10.5.4, four internal hard drives at 500gb each
+ My OS and the FCP program are on Drive 1
+ My audio is on Drive 2
+ My visuals are on Drive 3
+ My FCP file and the render files are on Drive 4
+ The project itself is using footage from a Sony EX1 camera. I'm using audio from AIFF files. The progrmam is 2 minutes in duration. I'm using very little effects at all. 1 track of video. Four tracks of audio.
What's going? Why am I now, with this new/smaller project, suddenly getting dropped frames? Was the deletion process the culprit? What can I do?
    Thanks,
    Shanked

Download and run the demo version of iDefrag : http://www.coriolis-systems.com/iDefrag.php
Click the drive in question wait for it to build the map then switch to the tab labelled "Files" at the bottom of the window. Sort by #Fragments and the highest will be likely culprits. If you do buy this software change the algorithm to "Optimize" for best results for video. Run it using default settings for the rest of it.
For anyone else reading this I DO NOT recommend using defrag tools on the system drive or a RAID drive. This WILL make things worse for you. Only for use on single drive scenarios. The best way to defrag a RAID array is to move the files off to another drive, wipe the RAID clean then transfer the files back again (You can do this for any file system to improve performance). This will sort the files out again. OSX manages the rest until there is only 10% of your drive left (depending on how much deleting and writing of files happens in between - it's that which cause fragmentation).
In terms of the 'size' issue (which you have no real issue with) I guessed that you meant the duration and complexity of your sequences. It's true that sometimes if you have a lot of sequences open these will use up valuable RAM (as FCP is only 32bit it can only utilize 3GB of RAM at most) and so when it is trying to buffer, cache and output the video it can trip over itself.  But your current problem is definitely down to dataflow off the drive and into FCP in time to decode and display the next frame. If it can't do it in time (within 0.03-0.04 seconds) then if detects an error and because you are in SafeRT mode it stops playback and displays the Dropped Frame error window.

  • Error with - addStylesToDocument(doc); please help

Hello, this is my unfinished code for a simple program I am writing. Basically I have a menu and buttons, and am looking to add a JTextPane. I think I have all the code there, except when compiling I am having an error with line addStylesToDocument(doc); if I comment this out then nothing happens but the program runs as normal (before I added the JTextPane code) the error I am getting is "non-static method addStylesToDocument(javax.swing.text.StyledDocument) cannot be referenced from a static context" this makes a little sence to me but not enough to be able to correct it as I am pretty much a beginner...
If anyone has any suggestions to fix this I would appreciate your input.

I see that you have run out of helpfulness for this session, What the ....? I just told you to add your jtextfield to a jpanel or some other visible component to be seen.
it is getting late here I will take my business elsewhere tomorrow rather than waiting up for a response which shows you realllly need to find something better to do! And thanks for the help earlier. That was actually useful whereas this wasn't, I'm sure you knew that already,You know that we are all volunteers here. Any time spent here helping you is time away from our friends and families. A little more appreciation is definitely in order or go somewhere else and pay for your help.

  • "Dropped Frames" error when capturing to Drobo external drive

Hi, I am looking to buy another external hard drive for video editing with Final Cut (as my scratch disk). I had purchased a Drobo because of the data redundancy and ease of use, but it's definitely NOT an editing drive - way too slow, I can't even capture video to it without getting "dropped frames" errors (even w/Firewire 800). And after searching these forums, I've read that others have experienced the same problems and that in the end it turns out that the Drobo is not an editing drive. Jeez, that was an expensive learning experience.
Soooooo I'm not very knowledgeable on hard drives, RAID, etc... but I would like to buy something that has redundancy (would that be RAID??) but is absolutely HAS to be something I can capture video and edit on. I know some people have bought 2 drives, one for editing and one for backup, but I know I'd forget to back it up every time and it seems like a bit of a hassle. Just thinking there's got to be an easier way that's hopefully not too expensive.
Are there any editors here who can point me to specific hard drive models or tell me exactly what I need to look for in a drive? I believe OWC (http://eshop.macsales.com/) probably has what I need, I just don't know what it is I need to get since I'm hard drive ********. Any advise would be appreciated!

Thank you Shane. Wow, didn't realize how expensive that would be. Not an option for me at the moment then.
That said, is there another hard drive (non-RAID) that is good for editing? For instance, could I use a Western Digital MyBook (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/B000VZCEU8/ref=ordcartshr?%5Fencoding=UTF8&m=ATVPDKIKX0DER&v=glance) to do my editing and then have another one for backup? Sorry for all the questions, I just want to make sure I understand and get this right!
    Thanks

  • Playback and Render Errors - communication error with child process failed

Tried a reinstall, does not fix the issue, will get the gray screen with text:  communication error with child process failed
This happens during playback (About 30% of the frames or so) as well as when rendering an output.
    On PC.

So I updated my nvidea drivers to the latest and greatest (GeForce 327.23). I also reinstalled SpeedGrade CC (which is quite the pain, btw! why can't we keep a local .exe file? Have to download every time you want to resintall ... even if only ten minutes apart!)
Still the issue seems to persist.
The footage is from the BlackMagic Pocket Cinema Camera. It worked fine about a month ago when I was working on some footage from the same line of cameras.

    Hi Eddie,
Thanks for giving me a hand with this. Unfortunately the info in the link you provided didn't fix the problem, I tried all the tips. Also, the link for the mainconcept update didn't work.
