Free 3 of 9 (Font 39) family for Barcode in SSRS

Hi All,
I have created a Barcode report in SSRS 2008 R2 and it is working fine in Report Builder but failing to render exactly in web page and PDF export.
I have tried with all the available bar code fonts but no luck..
Looking forward for your help.
Thanks,
Sam.

Hi Samhith,
According to your description, you can render the barcode in Report Builder using bar code fonts. But it can't be rendered successfully in web page and PDF export.
In this scenario, the reason why the barcode can't be rendered exactly in PDF/web page is because the barcode font is not responsible for the embedding process. It has reported a lot of same issue. To solve this problem, we suggest you add third party reference
into your refer, use custom code and create function for converting text string into Bytes. Then we can render the Bytes as image. Please refer to the links below:

If you have any question, please feel free to ask.

  • Oracle Apps 11i - Pasta Setup for Barcode print in rdf file

    Hi All,
    Since last some days i am trying to setup Oracle Apps 11i to print barcode reports (RDF files)  from concurrent manager.
    If anybody have any idea about how to configure pasta to print post script files which support barcode, please suggest.
    I have already read many documents but not able to do that. In one of pasta document i found that, pasta support two type of TrueType font. One can be used for regular text and second can be used (bold) for barcode printing. But it shows barcode font as a regular font.
    -Thanks.

  • Font Explorer alternative for PC?

    Is there a Font Explorer alternative for the PC?  Yes, I know Linotype made a beta version of Font Explorer for the PC that they never finalized - its useless.  Anybody have any preferably free font library programs for the PC?  Thanks.

    I have tried several fontmanagers for pc and I ended up with Bitstream Font Navigator. It works fast and well.
    It is part of the CorelDraw Graphics Suite and it supports Postscript Type, Open type and Truetype.

  • Requirement for barcode scanning

    Hi All,
    I need to add the value of scanned barcode in my Ztable.
    For this Requirement -->
    I think --
    First I need to have a module pool program with i/p field (say about 64 char i/p field) for barcode value.
    Now what next -->
    How the scanner (which attached to USB port) will display the barcode value in i/p field of my program??
    What I need to do for this???

    Hi,
    From Barcode reader - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
    USB
    Later barcode readers began to use USB connectors rather than the keyboard port, as this became a more convenient hardware option. To retain the easy integration with existing programs, a device driver called a "software wedge" could be used, to emulate the keyboard-impersonating behavior of the old "keyboard wedge" hardware.
    Regards.

  • Scanners Aren't Just for Barcodes

    Just like our mind, a scanner can read data in strange ways. Whether it is obscure lines and spaces or what appears to be bizarre squares randomly assembled. The scanner is not just for barcodes. It can read characters and decode them properly so as to make the unreadable readable. Intermec Imaging Solutions take advantage of this Optical Character Recognition capability to provide the ability to read checks, license plates, shipping container serial numbers, addresses, labels … or whatever your mind can imagine. Break out of barcode jail and run free with Imaging Solutions.

    at the beginning ,it seems like another laguage i do not know,but when i read it i find i can read! this is so interesting! but which  strange barcode scanner you said above, how does it become strange

  • Group Fonts by Family

    HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
    I have WAYYY too many fonts. Before 10.6, I used Fontcard (http://www.unsanity.com/haxies/fontcard/) to tame my fonts into nice neat family groupings. But 10.6 broke Fontcard and it looks like the developers are not going to upgrade it.
    My dilemma is I have searched hi and lo on the internet to find another app that does this function (group fonts by family) and I cannot find one. Even the commercial offerings don't do it. I have Font Agent and it's great at organizing fonts on your hard drive and auto activation, but it does not group them in font menus outside of itself like FontCard did. I'm looking for a system wide menu where the fonts are grouped by family.
    Any one found an app that does this for 10.6?

    In the interface for Suitcase Fusion 2, there are multiple headings you can sort the font lists by. Family is one of them. You can download and try it out for 30 days. That will give you a chance to see if it sorts fonts to your liking before purchasing.
    I know that's not the same as sorting fonts by family in the font menus of individual applications, but I don't recall seeing anything like that for OS X yet.

  • Better font display: Ask for tester

    Here is my chinese opmitised fonts.conf file, and ANYBODY who is using another language is supposed to benefit from it, you can get better font display if it works, so I ask for more tester, all you neet to do is to replace your original fonts.conf file(under your /ete/fonts/) with this one, don't forget backup firstly.
    I don't know how to enclose an attachment, so I post my fonts.conf 's content here, I am using freetype 2.1.8 and fontconfig 2.2.2, I compiled them by abs, and almost the same PKGBUILD as Judd, however I don't apply any patches.
    fonts.conf:
    <?xml version="1.0"?>
    <!DOCTYPE fontconfig SYSTEM "fonts.dtd">

        changes to [email protected] so that future releases can include
        such changes.

    I got brave and gave your font.conf a shot.  everything worked great but when building the fontconfig pkg I had to change the source line to...
    source=(http://freedesktop.org/~fontconfig/release/fontconfig-2.2.2.tar.gz)
    other than that the freetype and font pkgbuild files worked and installed fine.
    When I replaced my font.conf file with yours, after backing up mine ofcourse, and rebooted I didn't have any problems but the overall apearence was not as good as it was when using my original file. I switched back to my original and no harm done. I don't speak chinese but was curious. I'm just learning abs and building my own packages. I was impressed with your pkgbuild files working and then installing with no errors. The first ones I have ever used that worked.  but now when I run pacman -Su it wants to upgrade back to fontconfig-2.2.1-2 and freetype2-2.1.7-1. I should say downgrade. I guess I need to search for an answer to why it doesn't recognize the new pakages as being the latest.

  • I am trying to change the email address associated with my existing account to free up my university email address for use in obtaining Creative Cloud.

    I am trying to change the email address associated with my existing account to free up my university email address for use in obtaining Creative Cloud.  Every time I go to the account settings of my existing account (which currently uses my university email, as I set it up years ago and had no idea it'd eventually cause problems), I enter a different email to use for that account but I continuously receive an error message saying "account changes cannot be saved."  It makes me think that it's because the email isn't verified (funny, it actually is verified since it has been the alternate email on the old account for years), but when I click the "send verification email" nothing happens (that is, no email is sent to that other email address).
    Anyway, my university is now requiring that faculty create new accounts using our university email addresses in order to register/use Creative Cloud.  Am I able to delete my old account, or can anyone help me actually change the email address associated with my old account without getting a "changes can't be saved" error?

    When my 6 year old daughter plays the free games that I have downloaded for her IPAD and IPOD, I am now getting upgrade charges on these free games to my AMEX Card. Why is this happening and how do I get my AMEX card off of the IPAD and IPOD?

    She is making in app purchases. Probably not knowing what that means to your monthly credit card bill. Use the Settings app to enable restrictions and turn on restrictions for iTunes, App Store and in app purchases, mabe some others too. The restrictions will be set with a passcode to prevent your daughter from changing them.

  • How to change fonts in iTunes for Windows?

    Typeface in bold type is difficult to read and I want to change it. I looked everywhere online and could not find a simple solution, but then found one myself which seems to work. I have iTunes 10 and Windows Vista.
    For some reason there's a conflict or problem with the Helvetica fonts.
    Go to the folder C:windows/fonts. Wait for full font list to load, then sort in alphabetical order. Minimise that window, then open another Windows folder and navigate to a folder where you know you won't accidentally delete a folder. (I have a folder named "Keep" that I never move or delete to store important stuff). Create a new folder in that folder (organise>new folder) and name it Helvetica fonts.
    Restore the Fonts window you minimised, then locate all Helvetica fonts you have (they should all be together if you sorted alphabetically). Select all Helvetica fonts and click and drag across to the Helvetica fonts file. You may be asked to confirm permission to do this. Confirm that all Helvetica fonts are in the new folder then close that window.
    Return to the Fonts window and delete the selected Helvetica fonts. You will be asked for permission and get several pop up windows checking you really want to do this. **For some reason I was not able to delete Helvetica bold but the fix still worked.
    When all Helvetica fonts are deleted (except for ** above if you had that problem too), then go to File>Install New Font at the top of the Fonts folder window. Navigate using the drop down box to find the folder where you saved the Helvetica fonts. The Helvetica fonts should all list in the right hand pane of the dialog box. IMPORTANT: at the bottom of the dialog box is a check box "Copy Fonts to Fonts Folder" - make sure this is NOT checked. You do not want the fonts reinstalled in the Fonts folder. Click Select All, the Install. All fonts should install, but their actual files remain in the new folder you created. As long as you don't delete this new folder the Helvetica fonts will be available to all programs which need them - but for some reason iTunes will now select a different font to display in iTunes.
    And if it doesn't work the way you want, simply re-open Windows/Fonts, then repeat the installation instructions above but this time make sure the check box "copy fonts to font folder" IS checked and all will be restored.
    Did this help anyone?

  • Why is "fill free space" no longer leaving space for more photos or deleting music when I want to add other things

    My iPhone 4 with iOS 5 update doesn't seem to sync as smoothly as before.  Before it used to allow some space for more photos.  Or if I added a photo album toit would delete some of the "free space" music to make room for what I was adding.  Now it just seems to cram almost all the space and just leave the music there not chaning anything with each sync.

    Try restoring your iPod. Restoring will erase the hard drive, reload the software and put it back to default settings, so if you have songs on your iPod that aren't on iTunes you will lose them if you have no back up. Once the restore is complete follow the on screen instructions and it should connect to iTunes and give you a prompt to automatically update your library onto the fresh installation. Choose no and it will default to manual mode and from there you can choose the selected playlist option: Restoring iPod to factory settings with iTunes 7

  • Need to format "free space" of external hard drive for Time Machine

    I just recently purchased a MacBook Air and want to set up Time Machine with my external hard drive. I'm migrating from Windows 7 so before purchasing my new Mac, I transferred about 100 GB of data from my PC to my external hard drive that I wanted to keep. The external hard drive has a partition of 100 GB (91 GB used) and 365 GB of "free space". I would like to know how to format that free space so that I can use it with Time Machine but at the same time not lose any of my data on the first partition. I've looked around in the Disk Utility but it doesn't give any options to format the free space.
    Thanks in advance for any help.

    You should be able to repartition it, but that requires that the HD was formatted with Mac OS X Extended and journaling turned on. All I can suggest is you get another HD or move the 100 GB of stuff to the MBA, erase, reformat, and partition into two pieces, copy the 100 GB stuff back to the HD, and then it's set for TM.
