Some Apps are free to download but cost money to use, example - Spotify. As mentioned by Ocean20, you will have to talk to the developer about it.

When I try to open an .ai/pdf file received through my email, it won't open and asks for a password. I have never set up any kind of password for email security, but have tried typing in my standard passwords. Nothing works. I wonder if it has anything to do with the use of my Wacom3 Tablet...I've been having trouble with it and was getting the same message when trying to open the User's Manual in my Applications/WacomTablet file on my hard drive. It sounds like you have a a password-protected PDF. The password was set by the person who encoded it.

I had a trial before subscribing yet even after logging in with my email which is used for the CC account I continue to get a count down or an expression for applications who should already be unlocked.
How do I go about correcting this? Uninstalling and reinstalling has not made a difference.
I'm able to log into my adobe account and get promoted "You're already subscribed to the Creative Cloud Student and Teacher edition (one-year)" when prompted to "BUY" by the appThere is no billing issue.
The CC does not needs any serial number, it is based on Adobe ID.
In case you are being asked for serial number then you can refer to.

why when i want to download a free app from app store it asks for my apple id and when i give my apple id it then says "this apple id has not yet been used in the itunes store". i dont even know what that means and it will this happen everytime?
If you are within 14 days of purchase you can still return the iPhone and get the phone that suits your needs, however, I think you will find that no matter which phone you get the content provider will want to know how you are going to pay for future purchases. For Android phones it is Google, and they will certainly want to know.

can't get to settings to turn on wifi because "sign in to icloud" pops up and asks for pw which does not work because i can't get to wifi ?
The problem is I cannot turn on wireless setting. The "sign in to icloud -- enter appleid password" popup will not go away. when i enter the pw and click ok, the same balloon pops up again. If I click "cancel" it pops again. Since I am not on the internet (because I cannot turn the ipad wireless on) the sign in to icloud obviously will not work. Vicious circle.

Then another window opens titled "Another Application" and asks for a file name at the botto0m of page. I choose Firefox from the list of files, paste it into the bar, hit "enter"--nothing happens. Please find the attached screenshot.If it's the first time that you've tried to download anything from the store with the account then depending upon how you created the account then you may have to enter payment details before you will be able to download anything (including free items).
'Get' means that it's a free download, though that app does offer in-app purchases. If you are being asked to confirm/enter your card details then have you tried doing so ? As it's a free-to-download app the card won't be charged, though you may receive a temporary store holding charge. -
iMessage doesn't work anymore suddenly. It claims that my apple id had changed, which isn't the case (App Download still working!) . Then it shows the correct Email-adress and asks for appleID password. After entering it switches to a mask witch asks for the eMail adress that should be used. There is the right One already preentered. From there it switches back to the former mask (appleID +password) and nothing happens. If you say Log in again, ist just switches between those masks without showing an error claim nor logging in. Strange thing is ist worked proppperply till a few days ago.......

If you get to step 3 I recommend closing ALL the apps.
Here is step 1 to get you started.
Restart iPhone
To restart iPhone, first turn iPhone off by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until a red slider appears. Slide your finger across the slider and iPhone will turn off after a few moments.
Next, turn iPhone on by pressing and holding the Sleep/Wake button until the Apple logo appears.
Is iPhone not responding? To reset iPhone, press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button at the same time for at least 10 seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
If your device does not turn on or displays a red battery icon, try recharging next.

I just used a firewire connection to transfer files from a PowerBook G4 to a MacBook Pro. The MacBook Pro has lost all that was on it, and all the applications are opening like they have never been used before and asking for Rosetta. How do I find all my files on the MacBook Pro, or undo what I have done???
IGNORE the last post: he thought you are using Lion or Mountain Lion.
Since you are using Snow Leopard, you need to install Rosetta. It can be found on your Snow Leopard Install DVD in the Options section.
Once installed all should be well again.
Also, if your computer is connected to the internet when the Dialog Box about PowerPC applications comes up, it MIGHT allow you to download Rosetta from the internet. There has been some discussion that Apple has discontined internet download of Rosetta into Snow Leopard.
Someone else will have to address your lost files problem.
