How to upload my local DW CC files into my free Business Catalyst site for testing?

I'm getting stuck creating a new BC site and downloading the files from BC to create a new site, which I don't want to do. I need to take the files from by computer and upload them.

Can I develop a site using Bootstrap and then import into Dreamweaver to update to the free Business Catalyst hosting?

Can hand generated code be imported into Dreamweaver in order to use the free hosting option?

BC provides you templates to use to modify and sell to a client. Otherwise, they wouldn’t be there. For example, the templates are offered when you go to create a new site. BC asks if you want to use a template, import a site, etc… so your analogy doesn’t apply in this situation.

I have dreamweaver cs6 for some time now, and i remeber that i read or saw in some video that i have got one BC site scince i bought dreamweaver.
How does this work, do i get a free bc website for me? does it need my dreamweaver license serial number?do i still have to pay and choose the 3 available webbasic,webmarketing or webcommerce plan or is it for free scince i bought dreamweaver cs6?is this only for creative cloud members?

This offer to get a free Business Catalyst site only applies if you subscribe to one of the Adobe offerints.
You get 1 site for free when you have a Dreamweaver single product subscription
You get 5 sites for free as a Creative Cloud subscriber
They are on the Adobe Web Hosting plan (the simplest)

Business Catalyst Not Working

I have an Adobe Cloud full paid monthly account. I have used Business Catalyst to preview sites for clients for about a year and a half or more.
I did not use it for a few months and then recently tried to use it again.
Every time I try to upload my new site to BC and try to login it says "unknown error." I have reset password twice but password is correct.
Tech support at Business Catalyst is not being helpful except to ask me what software I'm using and my login:
I use Muse.
What is going on? I thought that my monthly $50 to Adobe included a free Business Catalyst account? No?
The help and FAQ pages never seem to answer the questions I have.
I log in to my Adobe account okay but I can't seem to log in to BC.
BC first forced me to change my account password. Then they said that I had to change it back to my Adobe ID password.
Now each time I try to log in it says there is already an account with that email.
I think I'm going to lose my mind.
Customer/Tech support at other cloud systems is not this difficult to get through to.

Getting this error message: This Adobe ID email address is already registered with Business Catalyst and cannot be merged with a different Business Catalyst account.

Business Catalyst Sites

Will I be able to use 5 different domain names on the 5 free Business Catalyst Sites that come with cloud membership? If I am setting these up for my clients I would expect to use unique names for each one, correct?

Registering/parking a domain to use with the sites is not a service which is automatically included, but it is possible to associate the sites with domains once you have.
The included sites use the webBasic service through Business Catalyst.

Business Catalyst Website with CC

I was under the impression that I got a free Business Catalyst account with my Creative Cloud, however the site I created is unuseable unless I upgrade it.

As Jeff said we need more information. What is unusable?
You have five webBasic sites and I have used four so far and all are fully functional. Sure I don't have some of the features in the higher plans but these features are not needed for these sites. If you need higher functionality then you will have to upgrade.

Does Business Catalyst also host/provide email addresses?

I am a Creative Cloud member seeking to create my own company's website and have it hosted by Business Catalyst via Muse. May I also host/provide email addresses? I've a domain name already registered but need to host a website (via Muse/Business Catalyst) and provide at least one email capability. Thank you for your efforts.

When you purchase Adobe Creative cloud Subscription , you get 5 free Business catalyst sites that are under Web Basic plan. I am afraid , this plan does not include hosted email service. If you want to use email service, you need to upgrade the site to higher plans , You may check the pricing : http://www.businesscatalyst.com/pricing/monthly .

I upgraded a free site to commerce, but developer tab is not showing up in business catalyst. How do I turn the developer tab on?

Business Workplace - "Tips & Tricks"

I've just noticed a very, very cool feature in Business Workplace. When you go to your Inbox, and you hover over "Tips & Tricks," something appears, a bit like a Windows tooltip, except far more useful and far less annoying.
Does anyone know how I can get such a feature into an ABAP programme I write myself? It looks like it should be easy - probably something like set a property on an object and watch it happen. But I can't work it out, I think I must be looking in the wrong place...

The Preview Pane utilizes HTML controls. A new item for the "Tips & Tricks" is selected every time you click on a different workitem or deadline message. Function module SIN_WI_PREVIEW_TIPS gets the tip and builds the HTML.

I have created a Muse site for a client that wishes to host with Business Catalyst. How do I publish the site with their account rather than using one of my free sites? This is so I can keep my free ones for personal projects but also so they can pay for their own hosting. I am happy to set it all up for them but not sure what to do.

You can use their BC login details and use them , which on publish the site will be under their account.
Please change the BC login from Edit > Preferences > Publish > Switch Accounts , for Mac it would Adobe Muse > Preferences

Once you are done with your sitet, Click on Publish in Muse, select New Site from the drop down, It will ask you a name for your site, which will be used for site url, you will get a url like mysite.businesscatalyst.com, then go to the browser and login to the admin panel, mysite.businesscatalyst.com/admin and on Dashboard, click Launch site. This will push your site live, and you can then add your custom domain.
Also make sure that you have completed all these actions mentioned here
