I am trying to pull the data from bex-query to web-i (4.0). Here for free charecterstics, need i have to create variables in web-i ?
or can i use it as well ? which is the best practice.
Plz give me the suggetions around.

If I have the latest ICI version with this feature, does it mean, automatically it is available for usage or any licensing has to be done separately to enable this? I am new and dont have much idea how this licensing part works in SAP.

As far as I know, to identify the patch which has the required version of this component, you can refer to the respective Interface specification document of the ICI Version.
Alternately, you can also contact the SAP certification center to get more information pertain to this.

Once the iDVD is burned, what can I delete to free up space? I tried deleting the iMovie events and projects, but then the iDVD would no longer play because it said the movie contents or link was not available. I was under the impression that once I saved the iDVD that the associated video was saved in that file, not a link to an iMovie event and project. Can somebody help? Now I have to find the original footage, re-edit it in iMovie, and start the whole iDVD process over because I deleted the iMovie project and events.

Help using "erase free space" feature in Disk Utility

If I try to "erase free space" on my hard drive, the task never completes, and a temporary file is created, which can be deleted upon restart. If I start up from the Tiger Install DVD to wipe the free hard drive space, will I still have this problem or will it work properly?
G5 Dual 2.3 GHz Mac OS X (10.4.6)

So how much "free space" for a Temp file do you need to even use "Erase Free Space"? I have 111G available (120G drive), and I have 50G "free space", and it uses up all my space for a Temp File, then won't proceed unless I "clear more room on your startup drive". I need over HALF the drive empty to even use "Erase Free Space"? It would be nice if Apple told us before we started the long process.

How to install updated free firefox feature that I'm repeatedly getting notified about

I repeatedly get the message that my firefox is no longer protected and that I can download a new version free, but can't succeed in doing it tho I've tried repeatedly. How do I install it, step by step, and why is it so hard to do? Do you have a phone number?

Hi,
I suspect that is because you only have the one ID in use.
I have the Apple ID and my iPhone Number active.
A second Apple ID used on a second iPhone and that iPhone number are also listed but Unticked (not active)
All are shown in dark text.
Messages only invokes Face Time to connect to a Messages Contact.
It uses the ID you are using in FaceTime - no the one listed in Messages - although they can be the same.
The issue might be if you are using Different ones
The Invoking uses the Contact ID that is in the Chat.
This means at your Contact's end their FaceTime is pulling your iMessages ID from Messages and trying to call that ID.
It may not exist on the FaceTime Servers.
The servers for both apps are separate for each other.

+1. Whatsapp etc not completely integrated into the notification area is one of the last big issues.

Security feature in OBIEE when integrating Cubes from SAP BW

Situation: We are trying to integrate SAP BW cubes with OBIEE and create reports on OBIEE.
We can import cubes and stuff into OBIEE and do the modelling to the multi dimensional db..
But when we talk about securities, we (in OBIEE side) want to do it through LDAP Servers. // hitting a hurdle
So the Authentication can be done using LDAP Servers, but the Authorization cannot be done by LDAP, since the client doesn't have that concept for authorization using LDAP
So I want to figure out some solution where we can do the authorization through another means...Your ideas are deeply appreciated

Installing an add-on for an otherwise very basic function doesn't really add any value to the program (at least to me). Correct. However, MathType costs extra whereas the Equation Editor is 100% free and is integrated into the suite. Anyone who inserts mathematic symbols and equations on a regular basis will no-doubt own MathType (I do); however, unless you're entering series or more advanced calc symbols, Equation Editor sufficies just fine.
I saw the video for how Mathtype integrates with Pages '09 and it looks really good, but the ability to size/re-size/rotate/etc. are already in Equation Editor.
Grapher is a powerful app but still requires importing/exporting; Office inserts directly.
Again, add-ons for otherwise basic integrated features in Office.
* Grammer Checker (Word's isn't perfect, but it's a lot more comprehensive than Proofreader)

Cool, I'm glad they finally implemented this. The inability to see fonts in pull-down list is a real pain in Pages '08.

Integrating third party recruitment with SAP

Hi folks,
I had a question regarding intergrating the third party system with SAP HR masterdata. I am basically looking at transferring the applicant data from the Recruiting (third party tool ) system into SAP HR Masterdata. I found using the feature PAPLI something like integration could be done. I do not know how ???
Right now, at the click of button something like Data transfer (entering the applicant id) can be manually imported into SAP Masterdata from the SAP recruiting module on the same system.
Can such a process be achieived using a third party tool? Is direct transfer process from the thrid party tool into SAP Employee Masterdata possible? Is the feature PAPLI (found from IMG) something like this can be accomplished?
The version we are using is SAP 4.6C
Any thoughts or leads in this area will be highly appreciated.

I am not sure of any standard integration programs specific to recruitment, but through customization we can integrate third party rectt systems like People click, HRP etc.
Develop inbound programs with ALE-IDOC system to transfer the data to Rectt tables.
The switch will control activation of integration between the systems.

Viber, No free call with C6-00

Hi,
I have recently installed Viber 2.1.512 on Nokia C6-00. However, it seems that viber on this model does not support free calls. I can only send text messages and photos ... but I was unable to make free calls.
Is there in anyway I can use this free call feature on my C6-00? IF not, what other cellphones models (either Nokia or other brands) support viber free calls?

Please take a look at the introduction page "What is Skype" which explains all the free Skype features. Calling Skype to Skype, both video or just voice, are free. Just keep in mind that you need a internet connection (either WiFi or mobile internet) on your Android device which might come with a price tag.
Those Skype-to-Skype calls are free regardless of whether you are in the same country or tens of thousands of kilometers apart on the other end of the world

Dispute Case Integration with FI-AR

Does anyone know whether there is a standard scenario to be able to create a dispute case in the Interaction Centre and for this to transfer to FI-AR or FSCM. In the documentation it seems to indicate that this is only available with FI-CA.

Thank you very mutch for the information , I have check no 1 and that is OK, regarding number 2, I would like to do some settings in our IDES environement to try some features, but there the "Integration with Contract Accounting" is set, as I read this can not be deactivated, is there any meens for this.... please advice in that case.
Reagarding the last issue, we are not using Agency Business and SRM functionality, hope that will minor the non working part. Thy do not need contract agreement either.

There are a few things you have to do, if you want to use FI-AR instead of FI-CA.
1. Replicate BP in CRM to customer in ERP. Set up FI-AR as active accounting in IMG -> CRM -> Master Data -> Business Partner -> Business Agreement -> Define Basic Settings.
2. Deactivate feature ACC_FICA (Integration with Contract Accounting) in Billing engine via IMG -> CRM -> Billing -> Configure Application.
You should note that lot of Leasing functionality with CRM releases higher than 5.0 are based on FI-CA as the active accouting system. These may not work if you use FI-AR.

Remove calling features - Answer 1571 and Privacy ...

I've just ordered a new connection, and decided to opt into the "free" calling features Answer 1571 and Privacy at Home. After completing the order I was notified by email that these features are only free under certain conditions, otherwise there's an additional monthly charge. This was probably mentioned somewhere while I was ordering it, but I didn't see it so I'm guessing it was buried in small print.
I'd like to opt out of these calling features to avoid having to pay any additional charges, but I can't find any information on how to change which calling features I'm subscribed to. Please can you let me know how to turn off Answer 1571 and Privacy at Home.
I'd also like to make a suggestion: You should make it clear to your customers that there are hidden charges associated with these "free" services before they place their orders.

You'll need to make sure you know which QSIG variant is supported on the Panasonic PBX. Configure CallManager to use the same variant. It will use ISO by default.
You'll probably also want to configure path replacement. CallManager has this turned off by default.

X-fi 2 microSD integration - no bookmark & annoying rebuilding

Bx-fi 2 microSD integration - no bookmark & annoying rebuilding, I am really disappointed by the x-fi 2 I just bought. The reason why I bought it is because I thought the microSD feature and its new integration by Creative will allow me to extend my library of music and audio books, because the internal memory (6Go) is just not enough for me.
Unfortunately, I found out too late that the microSD is just unusable :
- Rebuilding is performed when you access the microSD everytime the device is rebooted even if no content has been changed ! which is extremely annoying !
2 - But what makes it completely unusable for me is the fact that you cannot set bookmarks on the content on the microSD card !
I hope Creative will fix this in a new firmware soon, but I cannot wait forever until I search for another brand.

As I thought: The Clean up and formatting don't help. It does work for some hours (with some problems still occuring: random mode only plays the songs of one album, although there are several in the queue), but after having the player turned off for some hours, it shows the aforementioned problem: Screen turning black when klicking play.
Can I assume that my divice is deficti've?
