Free Download of Week not free?

Tried downloading this week's featured free download "Listen Up!" by The Gossip, and it displayed as full price in my shopping cart. The other free track by Jackie Allen shows up as free.
Anyone else having this issue?

Presuming that you attempted the download before the new free tracks were posted and were charged for the track that was supposed to be free, contact the iTunes Music Store customer support department through the form at the bottom of this web page and explain the problem to them. They should then issue a credit to your account.

I have firefox but cannot get into it for last 2 weeks. It says free download manager is not properly working

I already have firefox but for the last 2 weeks I have not been able to get into it.

Free downloads of the week not free???

Hi,
When I click the Buy Now for the Free Downloads of the Week, the song price shows it to be free.
But, when I go to my shopping cart, the price for the Free Songs shows up as $.99. When I click the Buy Now button, I get a message saying that the price of some items has changed and to check my purchase.
Is anyone else experiencing this?
Is there a setting I can change?
I am running v 7.5.

FREE is NOT FREE and is makes me not want to check the new music out if I feel I am going to have to actually pay for something that is FREE...it makes you feel ripped off...

HT1353 why are card games that are free on my phone not free for my mac

I am wondering why the card games that I play for free on my iPhone and iPad (and PC as well) are not free for my Mac through iTunes? It makes no sense. I have a new 13" apple macbook pro laptop running yosemite.

iTunes does not sell anything for your Mac.
You would have to buy apps from the Mac Apps store for your Mac.
They may differ in price, because they are not the same thing. One is an iOS app, then other is a computer app.
The maker of the app can choose what to charge for and what not to charge for. It could be that one contains ads and the other does not.
At the end of the day, then maker of the apps decides what to charge or if to charge.

ITunes single of the week not free?

I tried to get the single of the week from the iTunes Store, "Can't Say No" by Conor Maynard. The problem is that when I open the page to download the song, it says that the song costs $1.29.

They don't have a section for free tracks as of today, so if the Canadian iTunes Store did at one time, then apparently they've ceased to offer them at least temporarily. It may be that they just couldn't negotiate anything with a record label for this week and with luck there will be a new free track in the future. We have no way of knowing. though.

I've had my 822 since launch and I have had flawless experience with the phone. Phone works like it should, text messaging and emails work. I think it does a random reboot about once a month if that.
I don't know what Nokia or VZW did to the 928's. It could either be a bad batch of devices they keep recycling to other customers when one sends it back in for being faulty or just poor QA done on the device.
The only thing I can think of is filing a complaint with the BBB and FCC that VZW keeps issuing faulty devices to their customers.

If it is greyed-out, you probably have a version of Firefox that came with your Linux distro. Those versions of Firefox aren't updated through Mozilla, but rather through your distro's program repository with the other programs that came with that distro or were installed from the repository. Use System Tools > Updates (or wherever in your Menus that your distro has system updates) to check for Updates.

"Free" apps that are not free - recourse?

Has anyone experienced any issues with downloading a "free" app and then receiving a text stating the app is 9.99/month? What is the recourse?
Unfortunately, I don't recall the name of the app (game), but the text I received is a "mobile registration alert" with my phone# and the cost, with name Fonesocial (800-814-2129) in text. On principle, I texted back complaining about the deceitfulness of the app and refuse to call the number. I'm watching my bill to see if I get a charge from them.

How do I prevent phone numbers on my account from using Premium Messaging?
Account holders can disable Premium Messaging via My Verizon.
To disable Premium Messaging:
Make sure you are signed in to My Verizon
Click on the Safe Guards icon.
Under Service Blocks, click on “Add/Remove Blocks”. A list of available service blocks will display.
Check the box next to “Block Premium SMS”.
Note: this needs to be done for each line on the account that you want to prevent from using Premium Messaging. This will prevent anyone from using those lines to subscribe to new Premium Messaging programs or from incurring premium charges from new programs.

This is correct that this is a common way of authorizing a Premium messages but some programmers has figured out other ways to trick you into granting permission to allow them to charge your account. Basically you should be safe from the Market but when you buy from other sites outside the market network they can sometime work the premium message agreement into the agreement policy information to download app.
Best to read everything you are agreeing to these days, electronics agreement can be just as dangerous even without credit card or account numbers, all they need is cell number.

Firefox 5.0.1 would cause my Free Download Manager to be disabled because it is not compatibl with the new version. What ones are compatible and free?

I have received a pop-up advisory from Firefox several times, saying that my Free Download Manager is not compatible with the recommended 5.0.1 upgrade and wold have to be disabled until the compatibility problem was corrected.
(I think that I did download it, and that was when I got the first warning. I visited my download m manager shortly afterward, and all my download history had disappeared. I think that I then reversed the upgrade.)
Since then, my emails will load only in Basic HTML, which I have several problems with. I don't know if that is a Google or a Firefox problem.
So, my initial problem is that I need a reliable and easy to use free downloader before I can upgrade and get my Standard HTML back.

I have had this problem for a while since I did a previous Firefox update, where I had to force Gmail to load in Basic HTML else it's next to impossible to use it. The solution is this: simply update your Java, and Gmail will work without a problem using Standard HTML. To update your Java go here: http://www.java.com/en/ and select "Free Java Download".
And beta normally, universally, means "the not quite there yet version of the version we're aiming for" NORMALLY used during production and testing of a type of software.

Is Firefox 7 compatible with Free Download Manager?

With Firefox 6 the plug-in Free Download Manager would not work, so I re-installed an older version (Firefox 4). Now that Firefox 7 is launched, it might be a good idea to install this latest version. But I definitely want Free Download Manager as a plug-in. Can you tell me if this is supported by version 7?

I own an HP Pavillion a640f PC I need to reinstall some drivers and updates however everytime i attempt to do so I keep

I know Oracle allow us free download.
But i also know Oracle for Enterprise version is expensive.
Then , is any difference between Enterprise Release version and Free Download version?

The only difference is the license. If you want to develop your application, you can download all the software you need. If you want to deploy it, however, you'll need to buy the appropriate licenses.

Why isn't iWork apps not free yet after IOS7 update ?

Apple did say that IWork would be free, but it is not free as IMovie still has the original price, is it for certen devises or is there a problem on the store?

The advertisements leading up to the release of iOS 7 let me to believe that I work would be free for everybody. Apparently that is not the case. I was a little disappointed to find out but now it is only free for new devices activated after September 1 however upon looking at the reviews and how horrible they are I'm not disappointed at all in fact you couldn't pay me to use iWork so thanks but no thanks Apple once again.
