Free GPS? possible, without the internet?

Avant d'investir dans l'achat d'un téléphone mobile Nokia, je voudrais être certaine d'une chose, qui ne m'a pas semblée assez claire dans la FAQ, qui m'a renvoyée ici. Je voulais que l'on confirme qu'il est possible d'utiliser gratuitement le GPS (pour ceux qui l'ont : tous ?), sans que l'on nous prélève, c'est-à-dire sans internet, car mon forfait dont je ne veux pas changer ne me le permettrait pas.

Before I buy a new cell phone Nokia, I'd like to know whether the GPS could be used without the internet (that's to say, free), because I haven't enough money to spend on that. I've never read any clear answer to that.

I seem to recollect that E71 was not bad using OVI Maps v3.03, whereas it's successor E72 using OVI Maps v3.04 is useless in this respect!
If WLAN is not of importance which probably not the case if avoiding data costs, the 5230 is remarkably good value as a navigator.
