Free Import PO with CVD

Hi,
Can anyone let me know about the process of creating a Free Goods Import PO where  I have to pay CVD.
We procure some free goods from a Foreign vendor. and at the customs we need to pay the duty.
Regards

Hi Nikhil,
Create a PO for the item with Free Goods indicator. Do GR (MIGO) wrt PO. In MIGO give details of excise reference. Post the Excise Document via J1IEX. This will post part II entries

  • Import purchase : With CVD and cenvat utilisation

    Dear all,
In import scenario to the Indian context, a PO is placed on a agent for liscence to import. The CVD and customs duty needs to be adjusted against the PO placed on the agent. It means there are two POs. One on import vendor for material and another domestic PO placed on agent for customs duty.
Can we link both the POs so that the customs duty in the import PO will be triggered or adjusted against the domestic PO placed on agent?
    Regards.

    Hi
usually in industry you never raise a PO for customs or frieght vendor seperately.
Only thing you want is a PO for a vendor from whom you are procuring the material. Rest is the payment to all vendors, frieght vendors and Customs which are involved in the procurement of that material.
In a Import procurement cycle we usually pay to customs and frieght vendor before the reciept of the goods. So this all settings can be done when you are maintaining the conditions in a PO. Just select the condition and choose display their you can assign  the vendor. Please make sure you untick GR based IV.
Then doing MIRO when u select planned cost u get a pop up for the frieght vendor , customs or other. You can easily make the payment to those vendors.
Same for the domestic frieght vendor you can assign the vendor against the condition type.
    Enjoyyyy

  • When importing photos with iBooks Gallery widget, is anyone aware of a technique for simultaneously importing the photo's description (or jpeg file name) and writing it into the iBook Author caption field for the imported photo?

When importing photos with the iBooks Author Gallery widget, is anyone aware of a technique for simultaneously importing the photo's description (or jpeg file name) and writing it into the iBook Author caption field for the corresponding imported photo? I have 4,800 stills to import and can't imagine it's necessary to copy and paste the description for each.

As always, feel free to use the 'Provide iBooks Author Feedback' menu item for features you'd like added in the future, etc.

How do I import movies with an AVI format taken with a digital SLR?

If you cannot import using File Menu > Import Movies... You'll have to convert them on a Mac.
You will need to use a free app called MPEG Streamclip from Squared 5.
Basically, you drag the .mts file into MPEG Streamclip. Then use FILE/EXPORT USING QUICKTIME and choose Apple Intermediate Codec as your codec. And it will save out to a .mov file and iMovie will edit this format like there was no tomorrow

  • REg: Import procedure with CIN

    Dear Experts,
Please briefly explain the IMPORT PROCEDURE .
My Clent is an Indian client. So I have to take care of CIN also.
How exactly the flow will be.
Please help me out in this regard.
    Regards
    Nayak

Imports use sepcial condition types like:
    Customs Duty, landing charges,
    JCVA     Add. Customs Duty %
    JCVN     CVD %
    JECN     ECS on CVD%
    JEDB     ECS on Customs %
for these the vendor has to be maintained as the Customs commissioner.
With CIN, you can claim cnevat only on CVD and cesses on CVD.
    The process flow will include:
    1. Create imports PO with different customs duties. - ME21N
    2. Invoice verification for Customs duties - MIRO
    3. Payment to vendors (Customs)     F-53
    4. Receipt of Goods - MIGO
    5. Post Excise Invoice for material document - J1IEX
    6. Post Material vendoru2019s invoice in Invoice verification u2013 enter Invoice using PO No.- MIRO
    7. Post Freight vendoru2019s invoice in Invoice verification u2013 enter Invoice using PO no.- MIRO

  • Importing Audiobooks with alternative to Track 1, Track 2, Track 3, ...

I have an audiobooks with 7 Disc.
    I want to import them with the Track name with Disc 1->1a, 1b, 1c,...., Disc 2->2a, 2b, 2c, 2d, ..., Disc 3->3a, 3b, 3c, 3d...
I do not want to import as (default): Track 1, Track 2, Track 3 for each of the 7 Disc. I am not interested in using Get Info to manually change the Track name. Is there some type of Itunes Add on for Itunes Windows or something to change in the configuration.
Otherwise, is there a program that automates the ID3 Track name renaming and maybe the file name too.
I am sick of importing Audiobooks with several Disc, each with Track 1...X for each Disc.

I wrote a program to help with importing audiobooks and renaming tracks. It doesn't do quite what you want. First, it only names tracks on import -- there's currently no way to rename existing tracks in your Library. Also, the names don't exactly match what you want. Instead, you can do something like: <disc num><track num>, e.g.:
    For Disc 1:
    0101
    0102
    0103
    For Disc 2
    0201
    0202
    Or you can use letters
    01a
    01b
    01c
    02a
    02b
The program is free. If you want to try it you can get it here:
    http://www.pobox.com/~teridon/audiobook_helper/index.html
The forum TOS requires me to say: "I may receive some form of compensation, financial or otherwise, from my recommendation or link" because I have a paypal donation link on my webpage, but the program is free (donation totally optional).

    Hi Friends,
How do we process procurement of the free imported goods. we are importing as a FOC but need to pay the customs duty.
    These goods are non cenvatable.
    Thanks.
    Victory

    hi
as we r paying the custom duty using manual MIRO there will be no problem for that
so now u have to follow the process for free goods receipt and then do the MIRO to pay customs
Create free import PO ,check in conditions of JCDB, JCV1 the customs clearing vendor(Indian vendor) and percentage is assigned..This can be done by In condition tab select condtion then click on display, then enter.
    Save the PO.
MIRO --Capture Bill Of Entry.(Commercial Invoice No.,).Customs clearing first .Here CVD will b converted to BED.
    Capture Excisse invoice--j1iex.
    MIGO.
    Post Excise Invoice.
plz clerify for the mod vat and then follow J1IEX or ommit it

  • IPhoto imports photos with wrong dates even if the dates are fine on the camera

    Hi!
When I import photos with iPhoto, sometimes it imports them with wrong dates, even the dates are fine on the camera. It puts dates such as 2032. Does anyone know how can I fix that. As far as I know there is no way to change dates of the photos.
    Thanks!

well that is very confusing since if the date is correct on the camera it will be correct in iPhoto
    and as to
As far as I know there is no way to change dates of the photos.
Try looking through your iPhto menus - two commands - adjust time and date and batch change time and date - asjust is used to correct incorrect dates like a comera setting -   Batch change for missing dates like with scans

  • Import PO with GR based

    Hello.
We are Going for Import PO.
We are creating the Import PO with Gr based Indicator. now Tax code is Zero.
Customs clearing account is seprate.. from that A/c we will pay the Customs amount.
So while doing the MIRO for Customs.(planned delivery cost from MIRO option), system will generate the Commercial exc Inv No.
So when i go for MIGO with ref to PO. then system will Popup the Commercial Exc Iv no then we will cancel from MIGO screen .
Then system will shown me the Full PO qty's BED ,ECS and SECess and AED... but iam capturing the MIGO partaily.... Excise base value also shwon in USD.....
    Regards
    sapman man

    Hi there,
What i understood from your thread is you want to do the Excise invoice for partially and pay duties to the custom vendor for the partial quantity of goods receipt, for the same you can change the duty and the quantity while doing the MIRO trax. So the same data will flow when you will enter the MIGO screen and mention there the commercial invoice number.
For partial delivery check in your vendor settings, the GR based INV verification should be marked. For multiple currency check your settings in SPRO. The sytem defaults the same from vendor master.
    Hope it helps

  • Free Service PO with Sub services

I am preparing the Free service PO with Account assignment K or U Item category D and Description of service with Qty then Material Group and Plant with Free indicator check on.
But as i am going to maintain sub services in Service, after giving text, Qty it is asking for the Gross price, but i am preparing free of cost Service PO.
    Pls advice.
    Regards

    Hi,
Exactly you better to use Text po. Because there is no such posiiblity in Standard SAP. You should enter the gross price whatever account assignment you use ie (K or U)
Till now I was on your work only.

  • When trying to import photos with iPhoto from photoshop.. won't let me keeps saying that the photos are already in the iPhoto library but they are not... need to fix this

When trying to import photos with iPhoto from photoshop... won't let me keeps saying that the photos are already in the iPhoto library but they are not

If you are using Photoshop from within iPhoto the following may help with the workflow.  However, we do need to know the answers to the questions posed by Terence and Larry to be able to help you.
Using Photoshop or Photoshop Elements as Your Editor of Choice in iPhoto.
1 - select Photoshop or Photoshop Elememts as your editor of choice in iPhoto's General Preference Section's under the "Edit photo:" menu.
2 - double click on the thumbnail in iPhoto to open it in Photoshop.  When you're finished editing click on the Save button. If you immediately get the JPEG Options window make your selection (Baseline standard seems to be the most compatible jpeg format) and click on the OK button. Your done.
3 - however, if you get the navigation window
that indicates that  PS wants to save it as a PS formatted file.  You'll need to either select JPEG from the menu and save (top image) or click on the desktop in the Navigation window (bottom image) and save it to the desktop for importing as a new photo.
This method will let iPhoto know that the photo has been editied and will update the thumbnail file to reflect the edit..
With Photoshop Elements  the Saving File preferences should be configured as shown:
I also suggest the Maximize PSD File Compatabilty be set to Always.  In PSE’s General preference pane set the Color Picker to Apple as shown:
    Screenshots are from PSE 10
Note 1:  to switch between iPhoto and PS or PSE as the editor of choice Control (right)-click on the thumbnail and select either Edit in iPhoto or Edit in External Editor from the contextual menu. If you use iPhoto to edit more than PSE re-select iPhoto in the iPhoto General preference pane. Then iPhoto will be the default editor and you can use the contextual menu to select PSE for your editor when desired.
Note 2:  editing a RAW file with either PSE or PS creates a new file which must be saved outside of iPhoto, i.e. the Desktop, and imported as a new photo into the iPhoto Library.

  • I bought the Mac version of Premiere Elements, can I get the Windows version for free or cheap with my serial number?

I bought the Mac version of Premiere Elements, can I get the Windows version for free or cheap with my serial number? I'm about to migrate back to PC soon and I'd love to not have to buy the program again since I just bought it. Under my order history though it only shows it for Mac so I wanted to make sure.

The boxed packaging is not sold by Adobe direct. If you want to explore that type of purchase which offers the perk of a Windows and a Mac installation disc, you need to purchase from an authorized reseller who is not going to offer you "upgraded pricing". The seller would be its own entity with its own pricing and own return/refund policy. Sometimes the authorized reseller price may be less than the Adobe"upgraded pricing".
Did you purchase your Premiere Elements 13 Mac from Adobe direct and are within 30 days of purchase? If so, you can contact Adobe Chat Orders to ask for return/refund. And, then you can explore the authorized resellers for pricing and availability of the box packaging. Maybe check out the pricing all around before making any final decisions.
    Please review and consider.
    Thank you.
