Free nights and weekend minutes?

I have the 450 minutes a month plan with 2GB data plan. Are my minutes unlimited at night and weekends and if they are what time do the free minutes start and end at night? Any help would be appreciated .....Thanks

Because they stopped offering that plan to new customers back at the end of June. Only people that were customers before June 28th can keep the old pricing. if they switch to Share Everything they can't switch back. Share Everything can either be more or less expensive depending on one's situation. People that make blanket statements on how it's more expensive are either lying or misinformed.

Calling across time zones (night and weekend minutes)

I recently moved from the eastern time zone to central time. I'm wondering how this affects nights and weekends minutes. If a friend of mine (a non-verizon customer) calls me from the eastern time zone at 9:30 pm, it's only 8:30 p.m. here in central time. So would I be charged peak minute usage?

You can always get even with them, let the call go to voicemail and return the call at 5:45 AM.

With Unlimited Nights and Weekends, if you initiate a call at 8:50pm on a weekday that lasts an hour, will you be charged minutes for the entire call (60 minutes) or only the first 11 minutes? On a related note, what if you make a three-way call at 8:50pm on a weekday? Are you charged the same number of minutes as a call to a single number? What about after 9:01pm? In other words, is there no difference between a call to a single number vs. a call to two numbers? BTW, all of these scenarios are for calls inside the United States.

To answer the first part, you would be charged for the first 11 minutes because the Verizon network recognizes when the call rolls into a free minute period. As far as 3 way calling is concerned, you are actively calling 2 numbers so the minutes to both numbers count againist your minute plan and then would transition to free minutes after 9pm. Hope this answers your questions.

on the iphone monthly plans it gives you minutes and texts, what is the nights and weekends bit for?
(uk here we are still waiting for any iphone)

you accumulate rollover minutes if you dont use all of your monthly minutes you get in your plan. if you DO go over one month, thats when you use the rollover, its like a cushion so you arent charged the overages. they start to expire a year after you earn them. they are on a "rolling" 12 month calender.

Blocking Web Access at night and weekends

Currently we have a ASA5505 and it's allowing all traffic out to the web. How do I block web traffic at night and weekends. Would a AAA rule be suitable? if so, how do I go about it?

You can go for ACL for this. ACL's in ASA can be configured for a time duaration to allow the traffic after which they will block the requested traffic.

AT&T nights and weekends

What times qualify as nights and weekends for AT&T?

M-TR 9pm-6am
Weekends start Friday at 9pm and end Monday at 6am.

Extremely slow nights and weekend

Anyone else having this problem. Downloads speed extremely slow on the nights and weekend. Been a customer a little over a year and the last few weeks this has started.
7-15 line. Getting .99 to 1.2 consistantly nights and weekend. Had a tech out on Friday and he left scratching his head. Great support!!

- Did the other users who successfully connected have iDevices?
- Frequently you have to open Safari/a browser and agree to the terms and conditions of the wifi spot before yo can get to the internet. Some wifi spots use Flash or Java to log on which the iPod (and other iDevices) do not support)

Hi. The two user tips both describe a sequence of steps that should get your library from the point where it threatens to wipe data from your device to where it is syncing normally, while recovering as much information as possible. It may still be necessary to wipe and reload the device but this should only take place once all the data that can be recovered has been recovered.
Doing step 1 of 8 and then complaining things aren't the way you want them to be yet strikes me as premature...
Since you appear to have all your media content, and we are discussing an iPod classic, not an iOS device, the main worries are already taken care of. What's left is ratings, playcounts, playlist membership and checked status. Since your device holds only part of your library at best you could only recover the missing data for the content that is on the device using third party tools.
Recreating the previous checked/unchecked status of every track in your library from where you are now may not be that easy. Syncing with selected playlists has many advantages, one of which would have been that you would have a named playlist that could have been retrieved by 3rd party software if you had used this method.
You haven't explained what caused your problem in the first place, but if you have a Previous iTunes Libraries folder holding old copies of your iTunes database (generated with each iTunes update) then it would be possible to restore the most recent of these and then update the library with any changes in your media folder.
BTW Apple doesn't offer free support for this kind of issue with iTunes.

Ipad 4 not charging with the ORIGINAL Power adapter that came in the box. Can't charge my iPad. I plugged in on PC all night and has been charged to 7%

Yesterday, as usual was going to charge my iPad, it was at 1%. Well, I took my ipad charger (original Apple official, I want to clarify that as a first step, I'm using the brand products than Apple) and plugged into an outlet ... The ipad began loading the first two minutes , then I got a notification telling me that the iPad could not charge with the charger.
I was quite surprised by the announcement. I disconnected and reconnected it .... again, I received the same notification. Then I disconnected and tried it on another outlet ... anything, yet. then I tried it on another outlet and ipad started charging. but after a while I had the same notice, not paying attention to that. I left it charging and I removed roughly 25% that of fear for something to happen. also remembered that situation (made 2-3 months ago where the iPad was not charging but after waiting a while disconnected, reconnected it and loaded normally).
so I decided to wait to re-connect the iPad to the outlet. This time, I plugged it into the outlet (fully discharged) at night and expected to find it loaded in the morning. But my surprise is that it still is off, it did not load anything.
I Bought the iPad in December 2012. Do you think that my iPad is hurt?
What can I do? Ay recommendation?

Try giving your iPad a reset. Hold down the sleep and home keys until you see the silver apple. Let it reboot and try again. You may also want to swap out the cable, just to confirm or rule out that it's bad.
If none of those fixes work, make the appointment at your apple store and have them check it out.

Plug it in to wall power. If it doesn't automatically come on within 15 minutes, try a Reset... press the home and sleep/lock buttons until you see the Apple logo. Takes about 5-15 secs of button holding and you won't lose any data or settings. You might need to hold the buttons for as long as a minute.
If it still doesn't turn on, you likely have a hardware problem.
