i woke up this morning and i received a call from Fedex GR and they told me that the playbook has arrived and it is waiting for me at the custom office in athens. OK i said. Then they told me that i have to pay to take it with me. It is about importing something that has a value. OK again i said. And they told me that i would get a message about the total cost. So far so good. Then i got the e-mail with the bill..... 174,41 euros!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I have to pay so many taxes that the free playbook offer is no free at all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Of course i will not pay for it, and i know it is not RIMs problem. They did everything right except they choose the wrong way to send it.
Now can anyone advise what to do next?anyone intrested i can sent a copy of fedex detailed email.

Just clicked on a link that was supposed to take me to the one year free trial offer. The link took me to the plans that you pay for, but did not show anything about the offer. Anyone know what I have to do to find it?

has anyone managed to get a free boster with the sk go sign up offer that is plastered all over the tv at the moment.I need a booster as the wifi stability is terrible yet paying extra with no guarentee is not something i am willing to do.i set a sky id, signed up for sky go, downloaded the app and wherever i go to apply for a booster it says £20.i took my phone to a sky stall to ask and they were oblivious to the offer, showed them the add and they fobbed me of saying it was for sky go extra. i pointed out that the add stated free, no extra cost sign up (p&p) only went to the web address for the offer, they tried nd failed then told me i had to ring up the help team.i did this, they were oblivious as well i drected them to the website, the guy even said he would do it as it was a good deal and then he told me its automatic and you get an email response.i have had no email so rang again to be told i had to send an email...... sky do not accept emails !!!! he could not provide me with an email!!i tried again and was told i had to do an online chat, which is constantly busy!!!!!I have had pretty much nothing but poor customer service from sky regarding my wifi and broadband and nothing looks like its going to change here!If they fail to resolve this as well as other problems am i entitled to go to the advertising standards agency and cancel my sky without penalty due to false advertising and mis representation without penalty?

I have to ask why no one has just visited the wireless booster page from the Sky Shop section?

So i got my offer for a free 1 month subscription the other day. I went to activate it and it ended up totally activated, but on skype nothing was working and the subscription wasnt active. Can anyone help?

Lumia 620 free shell offer

Hi,
Just been to http://nokia620freeshell.com to claim my free shell and the site says:
"Fill in the form below, including your preferred colour choices and register your purchase to get a phone cover."
Well there is no option to select my preferred choice! I entered my details expecting to maybe go to the next page to select but that was it - thanks, once validated we will send you your free shell!
Is it too late now or was there never any choice in the first place?

Apple has recently discovered that some batteries used in its MacBook and MacBook Pro notebooks may have battery performance issues. Apple is offering a software update that is designed to address these issues.

This battery update should be run on all MacBook and MacBook Pro computers and extra batteries that were purchased between February 2006 and April 2007.

What about existing users - 60 days free premium offer

Hello everyone, I am wondering, why I am not able to subscribe to free 60 days Premium Offer?I see this message while not signed in, and then it dissapears after I sign in. Is it only for new users? Please advise. If I am right, and I am not able to sign for free 60 days premium trial, then I am a bit dissapointed that Spotify does not care about existing users.

The 60-day premium trial, amongst the others, are intended to offer those who have not yet used Spotify a risk-free trial to see if it is a service that is right for them. Unfortunately if you already have a premium subscription you already know what it has to offer, so you are not eligible for the trial offer.

Free trial offer last less than a day

I signed up for the 30 day trial offer, started, and finshed setting up conacts, made then made call, everythig was perfect. Thos morning I open the skype app and everything I had done, was gone. Everytime I've opened the app it requests payment. The order number is useless. If a free trial is this aggravitig, you can bet how much more agravated you'd feeling have to pay for your aggravation! please help

You enabled your Subscription trial for your Skype account based on your Facebook login. Make sure you sign in to Skype using your Facebook login to continue using the trial subscription.
If you use a different Skype account by signing in with your Microsoft account or Skype name you obviously won't see the subscription on the other account.

How can I switch my paid membership to a free membership offered by my school?

I have installed a paid membership version of Abode Cloud Creative about 3 months ago. Now, after i came to know that my school offers Adobe Cloud for free to all students and staff, I want to switch my current membership to the free version.

Free 60day offer gone?

I am trying to find a link to the free 60day .mac offer. Is it no longer available? I'd like to get a relative a trial so if he wants to keep it he can and if not he'll have a .mac address for iChat. If it's not available I'll have to search here for the best option for AV chatting without an actual .mac account. Going to the .mac page has no link I could see for a free 60 day trial.

Free apps offered by Apple?

I received my new iPhone 5s today. At some point during the setup, I went into the App Store app and within a pop-up window I was offered a chance to download a bunch of free apps from Apple like Pages, Numbers, etc... there must have been a dozen of them listed. Click the button to download them all at once.
However, since I was in the middle of a long backup/sync session and still downloading the 7.01 update, I skipped this step thinking I could just redo it later.
Well I can't. I go back to the App Store app and can't get the popup offer again. Now what? I manually searched and downloaded some of these things but it would be nice to see the full offer again just to make sure I got them all.

Shouldn't there have been a way to re-trigger that notification pop-up?
I downloaded and installed all of those apps from the App Store on my iPhone. Everything was there and installed. Now after doing a routine sync with iTunes, five of those apps are now showing as "Loading..." and "Waiting..." as if something re-triggered them to download and install again... this is weird... those were already installed. And it should not have been iTunes that caused it since "Automatic Downloads" was activated and those apps were already in my iTunes Apps tab.
