  • No NFL Mobile for the Z30

Why is there no app for this? Both the Q10 and the Z10 have it, why doesn't Blackberry flagship device not have this by now?
Contacted VZ customer service about it and was told to stop paying for it,  Is BBRY not aware of this? And what if anything are they doing about it?

Oh, one more quick point......if it's available for Android, you can load it to your phone. Look in these forums under "Downloaded Applications for BlackBerry 10" for the article by @John_Clark which details how to do it.
    Cheers.

  • Anyone heard when NFL Mobile will be available for the XOOM

Anyone heard when NFL Mobile will be available for the XOOM

Talk about frustrating - I bought the xoom on black friday - at the great price of $199.
Problem is the sales rep at time of purchase, said I would get NFL games televised live - same as on their cell phones.
After not be able to connect to the NFL Red Zone Sunday I contacted Verizon customer service. They tried to get me to sign up for Direct TV - very strange. Finally telling me to go back to the Verizon store I made the purchase at.
So Monday after vwork that is where I went. The rep still thought I should get NFL Mobile for live TV coverage only to find out he was wrong.
What sense does it make that you can access live nfl games on Verizon cell phones, but not through their serviced 4G tablets.

  • Ten dollars a month to watch "free" NFL mobile app

Just admit it Verizon: you are going to make 3g users pay 10 dollars a month to watch the supposedly free NFL Mobile App.
I read the hocus pocus post about data management etc.
The bottom line is you are going to charge a fee to use a free app.

    Hi jac10,
I apologize for any confusion surrounding the pricing of the NFL Mobile application. Please see pricing details below:
When downloading NFL Mobile application fees apply differently depending on current promotions and mobile device type.
    ·          All phones receive Basic Features at no additional cost
    ·          4G devices receive Premium Features at no additional cost for 2011 Season (promotional)
    ·          Effective 10/01/2011, NFL Mobile requires $10 Verizon Video/V CAST Video subscription for users with 3G devices
    ·          Data usage is incurred while using NFL Mobile application and charged per the customer's data package
When downloading the NFL Mobile Application:
Customers are advised when accepting the end-user license agreement that a V CAST Video subscription is required to access video content.
3G customers accessing NFL Mobile video content without a Verizon Video/V CAST Video subscription will see the option to self-provision Verizon Video/V CAST Video for $10 per month to receive the NFL Premium app.
4G customers will receive free access to NFL Mobile video content through the end of the current NFL season (promotional).

  • When is nfl mobile going to be on blackberry app world for the Z-30?

    Any schedule for this.

Verizon and NFL mobile. Support you BB10 customers by providing us with a 2014 app via native BB10 app, or Port your android version to BB10 app world any other option is unacceptable. If you can not provide the app they cancel my verizon account. This is one of the main reasons I switched to Verizon from AT&T. I am now paying $100 more a month for less service. I am a new customer that is highly unhappy with how this being handled on both Verizon as they are choosing not to support any all fan regardless of my device. It is my choice to use what device I want as long as it can handle all the features provided by the app. If you can provide apps for all current customers than you should not provide an app. You should provide a mobile Web app that works regardless of the bowser as long as it meets current website standards (html5).
Sent from my BlackBerry 10 smartphone on the Verizon Wireless 4G LTE network.

  • NFL Mobile Premium App

I recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 with 4G LTE by Verizon. I went online and added the NFL mobile premium feature to my tablet. However, when I log in and try to use the premium features the app asks for login information for a TV provider. Does this app not work with my tablet even though it is registered with Verizon and listed under compatible devices?

mdsmit10, we want you to take the game with you on the go! Your device is compatible with this application. You will need to download the NFL Mobile Application from the Google Play Market. http://bit.ly/P61L6P Additionally, the NFL Premium feature must be added to your line for this tablet as well. You can add the feature online at My Verizon http://bit.ly/xB4iTc I hope this information is helpful to you. Keep us posted. We're here to further assist you if needed.

  • NFL Mobile Redzone should be included if you are already paying for Redzone through your cable provider.

Just a thought..... If your paying for Redzone on a cable provider, shouldn't you get Redzone for free through your mobile device.?...

it would be nice, but they are separate contracts. verizon has a contract to provide the nfl app (which also gives you nfl network and the full games it covers, besides just the redzone channel) for a fee, and your cable company has a contract to provide just the redzone channel for a fee. NOW.....if your cable company has an app that allows you to watch your cable channels on your mobile device, then it could be done that way (cox cable does, but only for idevices so far).

  • When can we call mobiles for free

    Hi There,
During the terminate the rate campaign, BT said they wanted to release an all you can eat plan to avoid bill shock.
BT have reduced call charges to mobiles - thanks.  However, I would like a plan that allowed a pool of minutes (all you can eat can get abused) that I can use on mobile calls.
At the moment and I'm sure others do this, use landline for 01,02,03 0845 0870 and other numbers that are not included within my mobiles free minutes then use the mobile to call mobiles.  I hate that.  I would probably reduce my monthly mobile cost if i could use the LL more.  I do prefer using it, coffee, corded phone like old days - lol i'm only 27 but hey, i've always liked phones.
I know talktalk give 500 minutes per month to mobiles for an additional £5 a month.  I think that's fair.  If BT said, UK calls for £4.90, UK calls + 500 minutes to mobiles for £9.90, I'd take that today.
This would also get people using their LL more.  Some people only have the LL for Broadband and this would give them an incentive to use the LL again.
Anyway, termination rates are coming down again this year and I hope BT answers my wish.
    Regards,
    Martyn

    Hi, all,
I noticed where Sprint just released OS 6 for their Bold 9650 devices.  They released 6.0.0.415 today.  Hopefully soon, we will see an OS 6 release for Verizon Bold devices.

  • Why is there still no NFL Mobile app support for the Z30?

This device has been out for a year now. I upgraded months ago from the Q10 to the Z30 fully expecting to be able to access this only to find out it;s not available. I contacted your Facebook page about this today advising I am paying for this and the response I got was to basically stop paying for it as you're apparently not going to support this device.
I'd like an answer as to why. It's been over a year since this device has been available. It's not like VZ hasn't had time to do it. Why have I been paying for this all these months if you're not going to do anything about it? Why haven't you mentioned that you're not going to support this device if you're going to sell it? NFL Mobile is exclusive to VZ and is one of the biggest reasons I left ATT. Are you going to leave your business customers to do without?
I'd like an answer to all of this.

I'm sorry, seems it didn't reply from my email inbox.
The reason you didn't answer the other question is because the answer is none. So why would a customer have to make sure VZW is keeping up with the products they offer? This service is advertised as being available in BB World. If you go this website and click on the "compatible devices" link, you'll CLEARLY see that the Z30 is listed.
    Here it is in fact.

So......now can I get a better response than some smart aleck?

  • NFL Mobile app

It was announced today by verizon that more everything customers will receive premium features for the NFL Mobile app for free  for the 2014-2015 NFL season instead of the $5 subscription fee in years past.  I installed the NFL Mobile app on my elipsis tablet and after 2 hours on the phone with verizon i was told this app in incompatible with the verizon elipsis.  I was able to watch videos that are included with the app, but i wont be able to tell if i can watch football games on this tablet until football season  starts. Does anyone else have a better answer for me?

    Hi Eric,
Premium features on the NFL Mobile app can only be activated for Smartphones. The app does not have a live games option on tablets.
Below is a snippet I copied from the application information available in the Playstore.
"Verizon customers can upgrade to Premium Features on their smartphone for access to NFL RedZone on Sundays, and watch LIVE local Sunday NFL games in addition to Thursday, Sunday and Monday nights...."
Although it is not the answer you were hoping for, we wanted to answer your question. I forwarded your feedback to the product development team.

  • NFL Mobile - Included but not included?

    Hello,
I've tried searching the forums because I'm sure this has been answered, so if anyone wants to send a link that'd be great.'
As most know by now, NFL Mobile Premium is supposed to be included in More Everything Plans. I received the text and was pretty tickled. But now I'm frustrated.
In the menu of the app, it no longer says "NFL Network." It says "Live: Verizon Premium." But when you open it, it is indeed supposed to be a live NFL Network stream. Except I opened it during non-live game hours, while NFL Network was playing a rerun of a game. I was given a 2:00 minute counter and after it was up, I can no longer access the live stream. I'm assuming judging by the language on the main page on Verizon's website for NFL Mobile, that I can only watch the NFL Network for "free/included" during live broadcasts of games, and that now the NFL Redzone is $1.99/mo.
So it's not "included." Verizon unsubscribed me from my services so they could force me to resubscribe AND charge an extra 2 bucks for Redzone. I would have MUCH rather been told this than the lie that was texted to me.
If my assumptions are wrong, please enlighten me. I used to tell people how awesome this app and subscription was, but now that I've been jerked around, I'll give it a go for this season, but I'll probably give up after this and go back to pirating.

    UPDATE:
Now I feel like smarmy jerk. I tapped on the video notification in the app, and it took me to a live NFL Network stream, and then I checked tapping from the menu again and it works!
    Hope this helps someone else.

  • NFL Mobile on DINC2

I just got the DINC2 and I'm wondering what parts of nfl mobile are free and what parts i have to pay for? i know i have to pay for live games but other videos seem to be free, there was no promp to pay for those. (this is a 3g phone)

I believe I found an answer to your question.  This is what the license agreement states when you download the application: Download and use of the Service will be billed on a per megabyte basis unless you subscribe to a plan that includes unlimited sending and receiving of data. A monthly charge or a VCAST video package may be required for streaming video content available through the App.  Verizon Wireless may periodically check your location to enforce NFL blackout of games.  Please also note that streaming video will not be available in stadium or in the immediate vicinity of game venues.  You agree to ll terms in the following license agreement.
The videos that require a VCAST Video subscription is located at the bottom where it says "watch" in the box from the main menu.  When you press it, and there is no existing subscription, it should say "Please subscribe to VCAST/ Verizon Video to watch LIVE video (NFL Network, RedZone, NBC Sunday Night Football, & NFL Network Thursday Night Football)."  You can either hit OK or Cancel.  Here's a link that separates the basic features from the premium features.
Verizon Video or VCAST Video costs $10.00 per month.
I hope that answers your question.

  • The latest version of NFL Mobile (after July 22, 2010)

I have a question about the NFL Mobile app. I downloaded it before July 22, and I've since downloaded the latest version of the app today on July 25 and un-installed the older version of the application.
I am seeing conflicting reports on the cost of the new version of this NFL Mobile app. I'm reading that starting Sept. 1, I will have to pay for the live video and RedZone features. However, another report is listing that if I downloaded the older app before July 22, I have access to everything this application provides for the entire NFL 2010 season. Which is correct?
Also, I'm new to using smartphones. Is there a way for Verizon to tell when I originally downloaded, installed, and un-installed applications? If so, is there a way I can see this as well? I only have been able to see how much data I've used in my plan, not what I used it for.

You asked the exact same questions that have been driving me nuts for weeks now! I have read conflicting reports as well but here are two articles I read that help clear up some things.
(This is on the actual verizon wireless website)
    1. http://community.vzw.com/t5/DROID-Community-Blogs/NFL-Mobile-App-Only-From-Verizon/ba-p/234953
    2.  http://finance.yahoo.com/news/Hey-Football-Fans-NFL-Mobile-prnews-2348684600.html?x=0&.v=1
I also called Verizon and asked about these conflicting reports and their Rep told me that if you Downloaded it before July  19-21st you were grandfathered  in and will not have to pay the $10 extra for video. You will continue to recieve the premium features for free throughout the 2010-2011 Season after September 1st.. If you downloaded after July 22nd then you will have to pay the $10 for vcast subscription in order to watch the videos.
I explained to her I can't find a  way to figure out what date I exactly downloaded it on my phone or even on "My Verizon" account. She told me she has no way of  checking since it is on my phone and then asked a technician who also explained that there is no way for us to check ourselves on our phones. Sounds pretty silly to me that we can't have an exact download date for our applications because it  seems like something so simple. But that's what he said and apparently he's the expert. (Off subject: that also leads me to question how then, can they know whether we downloaded before or after the 22nd in order to qualify for the free premium features. How is that tracked then, if there are no download dates saying when we did it. Know what I mean? When we access the live video stream of games after September 1st, does the application automatically adjust itself to not cause a charge on our bills? How does verizon verify it? I don't know. Just food for thought) So again no way of checking when Apps were downloaded by Verizon or ourselves and if you can remember when you downloaded it initially (which I can't) and it was before the 22nd then you are safe for the whole season! No charges for you including video. Lucky for me the Rep was also a Colts fan like me and was a big help on understanding all this. Unfortunately I'm just going to have to wait till September 1st to see if I downloaded before the 22nd or after if that charge appears. Hope my post helped!

  • FYI about NFL Mobile........

It's now free if you have a more everything or premium account with verizon. this includes monday night, sunday night, thursday night, and local sunday games. it also includes nfl network. you can now get the redzone channel for $1.99/month. all of this used to cost $5/month. i'm only posting this because FOOTBALL!

    gsummitt
Have you tried uninstalling, then reinstalling, the NFL Mobile app? When I installed it, it automatically detected my account information and added premium accordingly. Keep in mind, this only applies to those on a shared data plan.

  • NFL Mobile Compatible Tablets

    Verizon Representative,
I am urgently awaiting someone to answer my question as to why I can not receive ALL ACCESS to your NFL Mobile App on a very up to date and popular iPad Air. I was an AT&T customer for 13 years and had a lifetime of unlimited data so long I did not switch to any other provider. Well, I did. FOR NFL MOBILE! I have spent a lot of money on devices and phones in order to receive the games on the go. I am extremely frustrated and can't figure out why you advertise something that is incredible but still is too good to be true. After spending some time in the community forums I noticed that I am not the only frustrated/mislead customer. If you advertise something awesome, make it available on every verizon subscribed tablet produced the prior 3 years! If you can't, then tell people before they spend a lot of money and have a bad experience with your company. The NFL Playoffs are upon us and it would be great to finally be able to watch the game I love on the road, problem free.
A response ASAP would be greatly appreciated, and a change would be extremely popular therefore profitable!
    Happy Holidays
    Ryan

The agreement with the NFL only covers phones, not any other type of device, including tablets.  The iPhone 6 plus is the largest Apple screen* you can get the free games.  Verizon doesn't hide this, right from the main page of VErizon NFL mobile site:
Local Sunday and Primetime Games only, blackout rules apply. Data usage applies for app download and use. Available on select smartphones. Subscription required for all devices without the More Everything plan. Coverage not available everywhere. © 2014 Verizon.
    * android phones may have a larger screen than IP6+, I realize, just not familiar with them.
