FREE Priv.edb to PST tool?

I am doing some work for a client who is on the fringe of going out of business, in fact I am offering my services for free.. They have an Exchange 2000 priv1.edb file I have been able to repair and successfully mount with Enstella but the $299
is not even a remote option. This edb file contains a few weeks of lost mail they would like to get at. Is there a freeware comparable tool out there or some other method of getting to this data? I'd like to avoid having to replicate their Exchange
environment just to get at a few weeks of lost mail.

- Open the Task Manager by pressing CTRL+SHIFT+ESC keys together in your keyboard.Go to the Process TAB and check if the outlook.exe is listed there or not.If its listed then select the outlook.exe and press the “End process” button.
- Locate the Outlook Inbox repair tool in your system. For Outlook 2007 the path for the Inbox repair tool ( ScanPST.exe )will be given below

IN Outlook 2003 , the SCANPST.exe is located in
drive:\Program Files\Common Files\System\Mapi\1033

-There you can see a file called “Scanpst.exe”. If you are not able to see the files, Make sure that the view hidden files and folders in the explorer folder options. Once you get the Scanpst.exe , double click to run it.
-Fixing the 0x80040600 Outlook 2007 Unknown Error will not be that easy
-folder path will be different based on the Outlook version and windows version.
Click Start button –> Go to Control Panel –> Click on Mail
Click on “Data Files” button
Click on the Filepath and select the file name from the new window.
- Come back to the Scanpst.exe window. Click on the browse button and give the above PST file path. Now click the start button in the ScanPst.exe window. This will start fixing the error codes 0x80040600 and 0x80040119.

we are using small business edition of exchange, we have 20 users who are using it. We are unable to mount the database, it gives ERROR: database was not shutdown cleanly (dirty shutdown) .
I tried to repair it using eseutil but the resultant file is only 200MB. While the real database size is around 6GB. I have found a utility http://www.nucleustechnologies.com/Exchange-Server-Data-Recovery.html .
Its showing almost all the data of my priv1.edb database file. Is there any free utility like this for this purpose?

Before 3 days I was also facing dirty shutdown error in my exchange server and after searching a lot I had found that there was no free utility was available in the market for the handling the situation
A dirty shutdown can usually be resolved via eseutil.

I Need to convert Exchange EDB to PST file

OST file of one of the users has got corrupt, due to which he is not able to access his mails. He has asked me to provide him a solution to get access to his mailbox back. Being an Exchange Admin, I can convert the exchange EDB to PST, which the user can
import into his Outlook to get the mails back. I have tried to export PST file from Exchange 2013 with powershell script but something went wrong and PST could not be exported. So, I am in a search of any alternate solution to Export Exchange EDB to PST.
Please help as I need to provide the used with PST file asap.

If the Exchange database is mounted within an Exchange server then yes you can use the native tools

Is there a free web-based Oracle Administration tool? Oracle SQL Developer is a free tool but not web-based. There are many web-based Shareware Oracle administration tools but I could not find a free tool. If anyone knows anything about it, please let me know.

Hi,
I have the necessity to recover a .edb file into a .pst or other format file, I have only the hard disk with the file.
There is a way to extract the mail from the edb file? Like a trial program or an utility?

For the conversion purpose, a Great help is provided by Exchange PowerShell Commands. These scripts are made to run internally which exports mailboxes to pst’s & allows to import pst’s in server. Based on Exchange server edition, the
set of commands does varies to perform import & export process.
For Exchange 2003: ExeMerge.exe utility (an inbuilt utility) assists in mailbox conversion.
For Exchange 2007: Export-Mailbox switch converts edb to pst (all mailboxes) and Import-Mailbox switch for import pst into server
For Exchange 2010 & 2013: New-MailboxExportRequest for converting exchange mailbox from edb into pst format and New-MailboxImportRequest to import pst’s into server.
Make entire process server-independent whether the server is mounting or not.

A new, free, open source as3 development tool

Hi All,
I have been a Java developer for years and came to know ActionScript this year. Can't afford the flex builder, and since I am familiar with eclipse, I can not get used to the free FlashDevelop. So I build a new eclipse plugin to work with ActionScript 3, it takes use of the Adobe Flex SDK 3, has the basic functionalities to do edit, compile, and debug. Code assistant is provided, but not well done yet. If you are interested in this tool, please check it out at http://as3ide.sourceforge.net
No doubt this tool is bugy now, but I don't have enough time to work on it, and even more, I don't know if such a tool is useful to others. So I publish it here today, if I could get some possitive responses from others, I may put some more time working on it.

Don't give up just because there are other options out there.
Adobe is only giving up the free tool for education purposes, or unemployed developer. You didn't say if you were one of those.
I believe over time there will be plenty of room for alternate IDE approaches that support the Flex Framework; and in fact there are quite a few options already out there.

nice "Trust Relationship" icon. Every time I run this tool I will definitely check for Trust Relationships first. :)

Which of the two is the better option? Stellar Phoenix exchange db recovery or Kernel exchange server recovery tool or probably another tool?
I have a couple of EDB files that I need to extract mailboxes from but I don't have an exchange server to fire them up with.

There are a handful of companies that have this type of tool and we are one of them, however be careful in the tool you pick since all tools are not created equally and if you choose a tool that is not accurate and complete you can end up with a serious

it should NEVER be THE issue. Whatever you buy to resolve you issue don't be lured in by the lowest priced product its just not worth it.
