Free Trial Download Does Not Open.

I am trying to download the free trail of Acrobat X Pro but when I click on the yellow "Download Now" icon nothing happens? Any thoughts please.

It could be also there is no harm in checking?
As per your issue description , it seems more a browser issue , but cant say right now because Adobe website and stuff , all are getting updated for CS6.
but I checked on my machine with Firefox and it works

I have downloaded the trial version of Elements. I can see it in my download folder but cannot open it.

Thank you. I deleted all the downloaded files and started over again. It was successful.
I am running Windows 8. I found out the dialogue box was the one asking for which language I prefer. By accidently deleting it and not answering the question the whole installation process stopped and I could not recover.

Coldfusion administrator after downloading does not open

Illustrator trial downloaded but not opening

Hi, I have downloaded the illustrator trial and have the icon sitting on my desktop but now it doesn't seem to open when I double click on the icon. What else do I need to do. I'm on a mac book. Any help is greatly appreciated. thanks! Emily

Illustrator CS5 trial--download will not open

After a complete download and extraction period, the message "illegal seek" appears on my Mac when I attempt to open.

I did find a thread on the Apple discussion forums at https://discussions.apple.com/thread/3112605?start=0&tstart=0 which seems to indicate the download could be corrupted. I would recommend deleting the currently downloaded file and then try downloading again. If you continue to have difficulties you may want to try using an alternate Internet connection.

InDesign Trial download does not recognise me as an Administrator

I am logged in as an Administrator and am trying to download the InDesign trial. Having got to the end of the download, it announces that I need to be logged on as an Administrator, which I am, but only offers 'Quit' as an option. I can't see how to resolve this and would appreciate any advice.

It shouldn't matter, but try logging in with the actual Administrator account for the machine.

I am running a TRIAL VERSION of Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended on MAC and Bridge does not open. It did open when I first downloaded it - but now a black question mark is over the BR icon and it does not open up. Any ideas from anyone?

I just thought it was interesting and helpful to me to learn that the icon for Bridge does not appear anywhere. Not in Application Folder. Not in the Finders Directory Files. I see your point - if I could locate that icon - I'd be set by dragging it onto my DOCK and launching it from there.
So - I'm assuming I need to uninstall CS6. Please list all the steps for me to uninstall so that I don't miss any CS6 files.
When I search in FINDER for CS6 uninstall- I see two icons - red adobe "UNINSTALL ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CS6" (both files are identical) Under KIND they both say Alias - with two different dates they were last opened (in November - few minutes apart). Is that what I use to uninstall completely all the files related to PS CS6 Extended as well as Bridge?
Do I need to DEACTIVATE ANYTHING ANYWHERE?
DOES ANYTHING NEED TO GO INTO TRASH.
I just want to make sure 'everything' related to CS6 Extended is off my computer and out of all the files. In the event i want to re-install - naturally I don't want to run into any conflicting 'issues'.
Do you think if I reinstall I will run into this same problem again (BR not launching)? Is there anything I can do to prevent it? I note on the forums - going a few years back - that there have been a lot of issues related to this same problem - even in other versions of the Creative Suite. Is Adobe doing anything to rectify this problem for us Photoshop CS Suite lovers or is all their focus just going into CC?
Thank you so much for trying to help me resolve this issue. It is very frustrating to have an Adobe product that is not completely functional. Especially when the Creative Suites are so expensive. I appreciate all the time you've put into this issue.

Extended CS6 trial Bug ends..and now CS6 does not open

Another brilliant move by adobe. First they suggest they inadvertently included a bug that required one to manually decline the extended version every time CS6 is open;now the "trial" ends and CS6 does not open. Is this what we expect from adobe? Maybe so, I guess.

There actually is a way to update Photoshop without running it.

Of course, these links don't help Creative Cloud users at all. I guess they're expected to use the Application Manager.

I switched on my PC and there was an update for realplayer. Since then firefox will not load. It is running according to Task Manager. I've downloaded a another copy of the programme using IE but whilst it loaded as a programme, does not open a window.

Helps if I give the correct link ! <br/>The press shift button appears to still work, but the option to start in safe mode from the programs listing of a standard install I do not think exists anymore.
Safe mode will start from a command line, (or a shortcut) and in some circumstances you may need to enter the full path name on a command or shortcut detailed instructions are at http://kb.mozillazine.org/Safe_mode
Remember (at least at this stage) do not make changes when you get the options list, just click on the continue button.
If you think that RealPlayer is causing the problem you could uninstall that for now.
Firefox recent versions are 3.6 4.0 (and 5.0 in beta). There is some debate as to whether creating new profiles or re-installing Firefox is the simplest method of troubleshooting and solving some of these problems, personally I use multiple profiles and multiple versions of Firefox, and tend to forget the required procedures are less than straightforward. For now at least try [[safe mode]] again.

Downloaded Latest Itunes but now it does not open at all, with no error msg

I have downloaded the latest version of iTunes for my Laptop. I have recently moved my internet to my laptop so i have been updating software for the past two days.
However, when the download of Itunes is finish i can not open it. There is no error message at all, it just does not open, it just begins to load with the 'hourglass' waiting symbol and then stops. I can't open it at all.
I am runnin on Windows XP and had no previous trouble with the older version of iTunes. I am now regretting that i even updated. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I had exactl the same problem, it drove me crazy for about one week. Actually both 7.1.1 and any 6.x version didn't want to install on my PC.
7.1.1 just downloaded ok and than after running it terminated with no message and no action.
I tried almost everything: from manually removing all WinXP Registry entries to checking the entrire Win installation.
I also tried to download itunes from a different PC, but again same result.
Finally, I gave it a try to download iTunes from a different web site and... everything worked flawlessy!!
The only conclusion I came to is a possible issue between my network/firewall/ISP settings and Apple download services.. very hard to justify in real world but I can't think of anything else.
So my advice is to look for another web site hosting iTunes for donwload and give it a try!

Create a new profile as a test to check if your current profile is causing the problems.

There may be extensions and plugins installed by default in a new profile, so check that in "Tools > Add-ons > Extensions & Plugins" in case there are still problems.
If that new profile works then you can transfer some files from the old profile to that new profile, but be careful not to copy corrupted files.

Reading the Apple support Communities, I realized that many Mac users have the same problem
I have encounter after downloading iLife '11. My iPhoto does not open anymore and gives me
always the same answear:
iPhoto quit unexpectedly.
Click Reopen to open the application again. This report will be sent
To Apple automatically.
I Click Reopen and I get the same answear again and again......
Is Apple doing anything about this problem ?
Has anyone found a solution ?

What version of the App do you actually have?
