Free trial - how to start

I downloaded Illustrator and Photoshop for a monthlong free trial, but now I can't figure out where I even start!

If you have already used the software for 30 days then you will not be able to use it further unless you purchase it.
The trial version is good for 30 days of usage. The time starts from the time you first launch the software.

    Hi,
    I just received an email from Adobe regarding  a free trial of FM 11 that I tried to download a couple of weeks ago, but it didn't complete and I got a message that the trial couldn't download because archive files were missing and I should download those too (it's a pity the downloader is not told how to do this).
    However Adobe obviously thought that not only did the download work, but I'd already launched my trial, as I got email confirmations and 'Welcome' and tutorial suggestions.
    I didn't do anything about this at the time, but I just received an email from Adobe saying my trial was half over.  I replied to the email, but afterwards I noticed that it was a no-reply.
    Who can I contact to clear this up, please?  I would like to start my trial fresh, after my first launch of the download I successfully performed yesterday.
    I wanted to chat with someone but I didn't see a button and the instructions about solving this were inadequate.  I know there is a place for sending requests like this but I used it quite a while ago and I'm not sure how to navigate there.

    PS Allow me to ask this question also, while I'm writing:  I'm a newbie to Framemaker10 (I'm using it at work but I don't have it on my home computer, hence the download).  I've asked the community a few questions. Two have been answered, but two are not receiving any replies at all, even though I notice that several users have read my questions.
    Is there any way to be certain that questions will be answered, or does such assurance only come with a purchase of support?  My FM license was purchased only a little more than a month ago, so would such service still be active?
    Also, does a purchase of a FM license allow for use on both a desktop and a laptop, like the Creative Suite apps?

    Welcome to forums.
    As you mentioned that you received an email from Adobe. That is a auto generated email by the systems, so you don't need to worry about it, If you download the product today, according to system it starts from today however pratically, trial starts after you installed and first launch it. So please ignore that email
    You can install the FM in your desktop and laptop and activate it on both the machines however cannot use it at the same time as per User License Agreement. As Harpeet mentioned the email for support team, you can post your question on forums or to that email.

  • I regsterded for a one month free trial. how can i download illustrator?

    I was having trouble downloading illustrator and was told to download the application manager. How do I do that? I am confused and need help. Also-
    when trying to download Illustrator I got a massage that reads "You are running an operating system that illustrator no longer supports. Refer to the system requirements below for a full list of supported platforms."
    I am not sure what that means and how to go about downloading and using the programs? do I really have to update my computer in order to use the programs? Would I have to purchase a new operating system? that is something that I don't know if I can afford.
    Please let me know how to go about it?
    The whole proccess seems a little complecated and I am hoping to be able to actually download the application before my free trial ends..

    64 bit support is required to install Adobe Illustrator.

  • I'm currently paying for a Creative Cloud photographers plan but I'm stuck with a free trial, how can i license it when it asks for a serial?

    I've paid for Adobe Creative cloud photographers package under a monthly subscription but i'm currently only getting access to the free trial as I can't seem to license the software, when I go to license it as instructed by Adobe I'm still asked for a serial number? When I check my Adobe account it shows no sign of any pain subscription yet they seem to be taking money from my account? I can't seen to find a means of taking it up with Adobe directly as I either want a refund of full access to the software i'm paying for.

  • Bought LR post trial; how to 'start over'? (reset collections, presets etc.)

    I got the trial version of LR a few months ago & now just got around to purchasing it.  But since I was a noob back then (still am, really), I made choices of catalogues and presets that I don't fully recall and probably weren't optimal anyways so I'd like to 'start over' and setup LR with a view to long term use.  I'm basically following suggestions of Scott Kelby but how do I revert LR to a beginning state so old choices are removed?
    Point me to older discussions of this if they are out there (I didn't find them!) or make some new suggestions please.
    (I realize workflow patterns vary greatly; I just don't want to be constrained by poor choices made when I was fooling around in the beginning)

    When I entered the  WEB module in LR, the old messy unsaved web gallery I had tried to create (my first try at one...)  would always reload and pop up, blocking any possible other work on a better webgallery for me. I wanted to start over ... but could do nothing really ... Never got to export anything as i did not want to do export my garbage ...
    I finally did understand an earlier comment on another query (similar topic)  that suggested one go to the Adobe folder in Applications and delete the subfolder on "web galleries".
    This miraculously worked even as my 'unsaved' web gallery never showed up in my Applications/Adobe/webgalleries, not even after re-starts of LR. Miracles happen.
    Another work-around I discovered is to make such busted unsaved web galleries  "saved" and then delete them inside the Library module of LR where they now appear and can be killed, finally.

    A free trial won't start charging you.. You actually have to purchase the subscription yourself.

    Thank you for all of your help!
    I have now purchased illustrator and photoshop through my cousin who lives in the US.  She has sent me the codes but when I enter them I get this message 'This card was purchased in a country that does not match your Adobe ID. You can try signing in with a different Adobe ID or get in touch with us if you need help.' It is an international card.  I can't get through to customer service at all, it just routes me through the community chat.  I have put this question out there on the downloads board but if you have any insights, I would appreciate it :-)

    I have attached a screenshot of my subscriptions/billing page. You will notice that there is no link there to "manage" my subscription! I am trying to cancel my free trial before I start getting charged for premium.

    This was so annoying!! It took me a good couple of hours but i figured it out, you need to do the following: Go to the folder where you saved the download (in my case i saved it in My Downloads) -> click on 'Adobe Photoshop Elements 12' -> click on 'PSE 12' -> click on 'Setup' (select the icon which is a box with a shield) -> follow instructions and....voila! You will need to restart when it suggests so save anything else first, then when it reboots you should see the icon on your desktop....hpe this helps!

    Did you have the Free trial installed on this computer previously?  If yes, you can't try it again.  Try using a different computer.

    How do I get rid of the "Your Free Trial Period has ended"  Screen when trying to open a pdf in Adobe Reader?
    I had a trial of Dreamweaver but it was too complicated for me.
    There was no where to cancell the free trail so I let it run its course and expire.  It then deleted the programs which is fine (I didn't want to buy them) but it also deleted my Acrobat Reader.
    I have re-installed that but when I try to open a pdf, all I get is the "Your Free Trial Period has ended" screen which only allows you to buy or exit and them exits all together.
    Needless to say I am very UNIPRESEED with Adobe for messing up my programs and now they want to charge me $29 dollars to sort out a problem they created.
    Can anyone help me to sort out this very anoying problem?

    Thank you for the reply.
    No I have not deleted anything, this all happened automatically when the trial period ended.
    Other than an old version of Photoshop (version 7, for which I do have a serial number, I don't have any other Adobe software - just the reader which is now not working)
    I was trialling Dreamwever but couldn't get started with it so am paying someone else to set up the website using Wordpress.
