Free trial of iWork has messed up my laptop

I have tried to buy Pages online for my air book. Having just finished a free trial of iWork. My App store says Pages is installed. But every time I try to use it, I am redirected to buy iWork. So now i cannot save any docs that I am sent by email. I am soo busy this is driving me crazy

so uninstall it (the trial version) http://guides.macrumors.com/Uninstalling_Applications_in_Mac_OS_X then buy pages.

Free Trial of iWork '08

I downloaded the free trial of iWork '08 3 days ago, and I went to save a keynote file I was working on and the program said that my 30 day trial was over. I had just downloaded and installed the update for numbers, so I'm not sure if that's what triggered this bug...does anyone know how I can continue with the free trial? I'm still not convinced I need '08 (as I have '06), but I'd like to keep trying it out for a few more days.

Hello, it would not be a system glitch, but a Apple mistake. If you use many spreadsheets, documents and like impressive displays, printouts and presentations iWork`08 is a good deal. I use it every day, the new Pages interface is much easier to manipulate. I think ti has more educational and business applications. The normal user would not need to upgrade.

No, there isn't, but if there's a store which sells Macs nearby, you may be able to try it out there.

NVM about free install of iWorks... I just checked and you had to activate it in september of 2013 in order to get it free it looks like. But still try using icloud.com

While download what I thought was a free memorial program template for my dad's memorial I got a free trial of iworks, I already have iworks on my computer. Now I can't save my work on ipages. How do I restore and save my own iworks? Help please!!.

BACKGROUND INFO:
I am working on a memorial program for my father. I googled free memorial template. Followed the program and ended up downloading iworks 30 day free trial, a program that have already on my computer. I went to FInder found the free trial and dumped it into the trash. Then I opened my ipages and modified one of those templates for the memorial program. When I went to save the changes made a message popped up stateding that I could not save my work before I activated the free trial.
QUESTIONS:
1) How do I save my work on ipages?
2) How do I delete the trial program so I can access all my originial software and my previously saved documents?

- Are you saying that they are not listed in your Purchased section?
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
- Are they listed in your Puchases history when you log into your account on your computer?
- Are they still available now for purchase? If not then you are out of luck

My free trial says it has expired yet I have only just downloaded it

I have spend the last few hours installed illustrator cc onto my mac. it has fully downloaded yet when i go to install the software it says my trial has expired yet I have only downloaded it this evening and have not used a free trial on any other software.

I'm downloading the adobe master collection 6 free trial and it has finished downloading but it is stuck in the "extracting" process.... there is an error displaying that says: "The following disc images couldn't be opened: MasterCollection_CS6 Error 4960

Sounds as if the disk image file is corrupt. If I were you, I'd try downloading it again.

Problems with iWork install after free trial

Download free trial of iWork. Liked it, decided to purchase family pack as I have several iMacs. On the computer with the free trial, it keeps asking for serial number and will not open any iWork app. Wants me to purchase iWork, which I have HELP!

You need to delete the trial & then reinstall from the boxed DVD or the Mac App Store. The files to delete are the iWork ’09 folder from the main HD > Applications; the iWork ’09 folder in HD > Library > Application Support & the individual iWork application plist files found in HD > Users > (your account) > Library > Preferences for each user.
Yvan Koenig has written an AppleScript that removes the files. You can find it on his iDisk in For_iWork > iWork '09 > uninstall iWork '09.zip.

My membership has expired and I would like to download a free trial - every time I try and do so it prompts me to purchase product again and will not open... Please advise if it is possible to use a free trial after membership has expired.

I believe if you have had the program installed and licensed already then the trial option has passed.

I think I am going to buy photoshop elements 8, But might be downloading the free trial of elements 9 first? My laptop does not have internet or virus protection. How likely is it that I could get a virus from going online JUST to download the trial? and How long does it typically take to download, because I'll have to download it at a coffee shop with free wifi. I know all computers download differently mine is about 5 years old, so Im just trying to get a general idea.

I wouldn't browse the Internet if I were you without virus/malware protection. If I remember correctly, the default home page for IE is MSN, and as I remember that's got ads on it. Ads are usually what deliver malware.
Download Elements 9 onto another machine with virus protection if you're worried about it.
Why would you want to go without virus protection on your laptop, anyway? I recommend Avast Pro.

How do I get rid of the "Your Free Trial Period has ended" Screen when trying to open a pdf in Adobe Reader?
I had a trial of Dreamweaver but it was too complicated for me.
There was no where to cancell the free trail so I let it run its course and expire. It then deleted the programs which is fine (I didn't want to buy them) but it also deleted my Acrobat Reader.
I have re-installed that but when I try to open a pdf, all I get is the "Your Free Trial Period has ended" screen which only allows you to buy or exit and them exits all together.
Needless to say I am very UNIPRESEED with Adobe for messing up my programs and now they want to charge me $29 dollars to sort out a problem they created.
Can anyone help me to sort out this very anoying problem?

No I have not deleted anything, this all happened automatically when the trial period ended.
Other than an old version of Photoshop (version 7, for which I do have a serial number, I don't have any other Adobe software - just the reader which is now not working)
I was trialling Dreamwever but couldn't get started with it so am paying someone else to set up the website using Wordpress.

Help! I have downloaded the free trial as per instructions but am stuck at a window which tells me no application is specified to open the application. Any advice?

It would seem your Mac/OS X is confused about which program to use. A couple of possible causes are that you did not use Disk Utility to repair permissions after an update/upgrade &/or you have deleted the Installer.app. Deleting the application would be difficult since it is buried in the System.
OS X confusion is easy to fix. Highlight the iWork installer package in the Finder, highlight it & choose Get Info from the File menu. In the Get Info box, click the triangle next to "Open With." Click on this drop-down menu & choose Installer.app. If this is not a choice, choose "Other" & navigate to the Installer.app located in HD > System > Library > Core Services. Now click the "Change" button under the text that asks if you want to open all documents like this with Installer.app.
