Free Trial what happens when it's over?

Hello Spotify,
People may have asked you the same question, but I need a full understandment. I've just downloaded the Spotify app on my iPod and I got the 48 hour free trial plan. Now, what would exactly happen once the free trial is over? Will I still be able to listen to Spotify on my iPod or will the app automatically shut down? Will I also be charged if I don't cancel my free trial before the 48 hours? Now, I guess I should also say that I have a Spotify free account on my computer without this app.
Thanks for your moment!

Hi Vannah_Banana- Welcome to the Community! Let's see if we can help clarify our trial options for you.
First of all, you won't be able to continue to stream music or sync offline playlists on your iPod once your 48 hour trial is over today. A Premium subscription/ trial is needed to use Spotify on an iPod or mobile device.
Also, I can assure you that you won't be charged when the trial ends. Your account will simply revert back to our Free subscription.
However, you will receive an email offering to extend the trial by another 30 days. If you chose to extend the trial you will be charged at the end of those 30 days unless you cancel beforehand. The Premium subscription will then continue with rolling payments each month.
I hope this clears things up a bit--let me know if there's aything else I can help with.

  • What happens when I go over 10g on my 10g data plan

I have had company and unexpected usage this month.  I have already used 75% of my 10G plan and have over 3 weeks to go.  What happens when I go over?

Quiltgrammy, no worries. We can help you avoid that data overage charge. You have the option of upgrading to higher plan to avoid the $15.00 per GB overage charge. For your convenience, you can change it right here: http://bit.ly/xB4iTc

  • Azure website is stopped; after free trial what happens next?

    Hi,
My Azure website is stopped and I don't understand why. Restarting it doesn't work.
I have a free trial subscription, which seems to expire today.  I would like to upgrade it but there is no information about the financial impact of upgrading.  I found this link about the different service tiers:
    https://msdn.microsoft.com/library/dn741336.aspx
But there is no finance information.  They give you links into all kinds of documentation but the basic question of what to do after free trial subscription ends is nowhere.
I was able to link to a Web page that details monthly charges (which unfortunately now I couldn't find) where a developer pays $29 monthly and standard subscription costs $300 monthly. I need a standard but I don't have that money to burn. So I'm thinking
of the developer plan but I don't know what services go with it.  What happened to the pay-as-you-go? Where is the explanation for what services are included in that plan? Where
are the plans? Why can't I find it in the Azure portal?
    Appreciate anyone with suggestions.

    Hi,
If your Free trial is going to expire and you would like to continue with the azure services, recommend you to go for pay as you go service. click Buy
here for pay as you go service.
This offer is billed at the standard
Pay-As-You-Go rates and You will be notified at least 30 days in advance of any changes to the Pay-As-You-Go rates. New services may be added periodically to the Azure platform. Other details
    here.
Estimate your expected monthly bill using the
Pricing Calculator, and track your actual account usage and bill at any time using the
    billing portal. Setup
automatic email billing alerts to be notified if your spend goes above an amount you configure.
Also, I would like to clarify that if you want to scale the websites, the websites must be in the basic or standard mode. When we create basic or standard website in free trial account, the website consume the credits limit
of azure free trial account. But if the free trail is expired, your service will be stopped and your data will be stored 3 month unless you reactivated it or became the paid users .

  • What happens when the CC trial ends? What happens when offline?

I need Lightroom to work offline on my laptop. What happens if I need to sign in to CC when there is no interned connection and what happens when the CC trial ends on both my laptop and desktop?

Thanks for answering. I have the standalone version of Lightroom 6 on my Windows 7 64 bit desktop. A number of times when have tried to open the program, the Adobe Application Manager has popped up requiring me to sign in even though I had not knowingly signed out. Lightroom will not launch unless I am signed in. Frequently when Lightroom launches, I see a "Server Busy" message telling me to "switch to the other program" without telling me which program to switch to. I have pinned the AAM to my notification area and have unchecked the "Show OS Notifications box" to see if the "Server Busy" message goes away. So far everything seems to be okay
    Again, thanks for answering me

I have downloaded the Adobe CC free trial.  But when I tried to use the photoshop, it always tells me the photoshop was not working and will be closed.  What did I do wrong ?  I like to try it before I buy.  Help, please !

Could you go to (in Photoshop) Help>System Info>Copy and paste here in its entirety? Also, if there is a crash report paste it here as well.

  • If I upgrade to the plan that allows 5000 responses per form, is that 5000 per month? What happens when there have been over 5000 responses?

What happens when a form reaches the 5000 responses limit? Is the limit refreshed?

That's a comment in the file. It has no effect at all.

  • What happens when the Time Machine drive is full?

I'm on my second iMac. My first one (G5, 1984) died, and I replaced it early 2010 with an Intel mac. The transition when exceedingly well largely due to Time Machine. I just hooked the Time Machine drive to the new system, and I was soon back up running!
My home folder has 70GB of data. The Macintosh drive has 105GB of data and 395GB free. The Time Machine drive has 220GB used and 30GB free.
    1. What happens when the Time Machine drive is full?
    2. Do I have control over what backups get deleted?
    3. If lightning strikes twice, will I still be able to restore my Intel mac like my G5 mac, even if backups get deleted?
    4. Is there anyway to control what backups/backup files get deleted?
    5. Any other thoughts?
    Thanks.

i have deleted the time machine folders and they are now in my trash. when i try to secure empty my trash it will delete everything but the t/m folders. how do i delete them?
Do you mean all of them? The entire Backups.backupdb folder?
That's a large mess. First, even a normal delete will take a very long time, as there are probably hundreds of thousands, or even millions, of files. Your best bet by far is to simply erase them with Disk Utility -- that will only take a few moments. If your TM drive has a single partition, see #1 in [Formatting, Partitioning, Verifying, and Repairing Disks|http://web.me.com/pondini/AppleTips/DU.html]. If there are other partition(s) on the drive, see #2 there.
If not, and you only deleted some of the folders, you have a different, worse problem. Unfortunately, Apple doesn't do a very good job of warning folks: +*Never move, change, or delete anything in your backups via the Finder or Terminal.+*
You shouldn't have to delete backups at all, since Time Machine will do that automatically when the disk/partition gets full. But you can do it without harm via Time Machine. See #12 in [Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions|http://web.me.com/pondini/Time_Machine/FAQ.html] (or use the link in *User Tips* at the top of this forum).
A normal delete will take a very long time, as there are probably tens or hundreds of thousands of items, each of which must be individually deleted. A secure delete will take much, much longer, as each deleted file must be overwritten with zeros.

(No sarcasm, I'm curious about these snap solutions in general. Though I am really down on Dell for what turned out to be a brain-damaged laptop I got for my wife.)
Well, you can't really make a judgement about a company's enterprise products based on an experience with their consumer products. What if it came from what they call a business products catalog? They intermingle laptops with servers.
Don't know, in general. I do know that for Dell there is a distinct difference between their decidedly consumer laptops (Inspiron) and their "business" Lattitude series. I know that at my last job we had a lot of rock solid HP equipment (servers and SAN) - vs. an HP laptop I had that was trouble from Day One. I'm sure there is a point in desktops and laptops the line can get blurred, but in the case of the OP, he was no where near that fuzzy line.

I have both the 250 gb high performance hard drive and a 1 ter byte hard drive.  What happens when the 250 gb hardrive is full? This on Imac desktop

Never let a drive get more than 80% to 85% full.
AND keep 50-100 GB of free space on a startup drive to allow proper function of virtual memory in all OS X versions from 10.5x to current versions.
10.4x can get by with 20 GB of free space on the boot drive, but more is always better.
I try and keep all boot drives between 50 and 60% of capacity.
Beyond 60% and up to 90% capacity, seek times increase almost exponentially; performance suffers.

This is a user-to-user forum and most people will post on here if they have problems. You very rarely get people posting to say there update went smooth. The fact is the vast majority of Mountain Lion users will not be experiencing any major problems with the OS, or maybe with apps which are not compatible, but thats hardly Apple's fault if developers don't update their apps.

My iPOD class (last generation) shuts off when jostled--like what
happens when the headphones come out.  Is there any fix for this?

I finally resolved my problem after spending way too much time on it. I simply handed my 160GB iPod to my husband to put his fav Stones & Beatles songs on and I went back to my 80GB Microsoft Zune which has never disappointed me.
After spending so much time trying to figure this out I did finally take it back to Apple Store who performed a diagnostic and found there was a problem with the device. They replaced it with a refurbished one which has similar issues. All I wanted to do was listen to my music. Was that too much to ask? So I am happy to be free of this problematic device. No more Apple for me!!

I Captured footage on the DVX-100, what happens when I export it to HDV-1080i50.
    Is it then considered HD?

The short answer is "yes, BUT…"
DVX-100 is a DV camera, thus it only captures DV. You can export your DV sequence to whatever format you desire, like HDV (a consumer-level version of HD), but that doesn't mean it will look as good as footage natively shot in HD. You gain no quality at all, in fact you lose quality due to scaling the footage up from the DV to HDV framesize. There are workflows for upconverting your DV footage to HDV or HD posted all over this forum and elsewhere on the Net. A quick search should give you some insight into the process.

  • What happens when I join Creative Cloud years from now?

Our company has CS6 now and don't feel it's in the books to join Creative Cloud at this point. What happens when we have to join 1 year to 1.5" down the road? Will we have to pay a penalty fee or do we just join at the $69.99/seat team price?

MAS ART, There is not penalty fees for not joining Creative Cloud subscription. You are free to join it later. Its just that the membership plans may be different then.

  • What happens when an iPod is synchronized with an iTunes library that is bigger than the available space on the iPod?

What happens when an iPod is synchronized with an iTunes library that is bigger than the available space on the iPod? I did this some time ago. On screen was shown available space somewhat less than 120 GB, but maybe somewhere between 10 and 20 GB more in the library. I had to get the iPod updated anyway, so I did proceed. However, afterwards the total content of the library was only about 110 GB. Now I wonder what did actually happen. Was the first sign only corrected for double copies of the same files or lost files or where files deleted from iTunes? And if files where deleted from iTunes, were they also deleted from my computer?

Same as you would if you bought a pc; copy everything from your old computer to your new one.  Then you can just sync everything from the new computer, as you did with the old one.
