Free wireless charger

Hi,
I have been waiting over a month for my free wireless charger.
After two weeks i contacted nokia and after a long conversation with 3 different people found that it had not even been sent yet. Because it had taken so long i had to get it sent to a different address. Now two weeks on it still hasnt turned up, any longer i will have to get it redirected once again.
What am i supposed to do?
There is no free way to contact nokia for at least a week probably longer. Cant even send an email anymore

there's a chat support.. have you tried contacting them via chat?
Smile lang lagi.

  • Never recieved Galaxy S6 wireless charger

    Hi BestBuy.com
I recently placed an order for my galaxy s6 through an agent on the best buy phone service, and the agent said that since I was placing my order for the s6 within the promotion time period of getting the free wireless charger, that the charger should ship soon after I pick up my phone in store. I picked up my phone from the store, but still have not heard anything nor recieved an email regarding the free wireless charger. My main reason for purchasing from best buy is making sure that I recieved the wireless charger since that was the best deal. I called customer service and they said that the wireless charger order was never placed with my phone order, which I have no answer to. Please help me out here. Thanks BestBuy

    Hello nacrogyn,
The Samsung Galaxy S6 looks like an amazing phone! Even I, an avid Apple user, was almost tempted to give it a try - almost. The offer of a free Samsung wireless charger was pretty awesome as well, so I can understand why you would be excited to make this purchase!
Using the email address you registered with the forum, I was able to locate your order. Sadly, it doesn't seem that a free Samsung wireless charger was added to the order. After further research of this offer, it is my understanding that this offer was removed from our site prior to your order being placed as we had run out of allocated inventory to fulfill this offer. Given this information, unfortunately it doesn't seem that we would be able to provide you with the charger. I am truly sorry if you were provided any misinformation while you were placing your order over the phone.
I understand that this was likely not the news you expected when you reached out about your order, and I hope that you give us a chance to provide you with a more satisfying experience. If you should have any questions, please let me know!
    Sincerely,

  • Nokia Lumia Wireless Charger - Invalid IMEI Number

I tried to claim my free wireless charger but it says invalid IMEI number and I have waited 2 weeks as I bought it on the 26th November

This is a user to user support forum. For something like this I suggest you contact Nokia directly using the "Nokia support" tab below.

  • Nokia Wireless Charging Plate not working

I got a free wireless charging plate through AT&T when I bought my Lumia 920 and the other day I woke up to find that my phone had not charged while laying on it overnight.
The LED indicator on the plate blinks rapidly, which according to the manual means there was some kind of charging error, but there doesn't seem to be any way of fixing or resetting it. It just blinks whether the phone is on it or not and no matter how many times I unplug it and plug it back in, it just blinks and will not charge my phone anymore.
It sat on my nightstand next to my bed and has never been abused or had anything happen to it that might have made it stop working, it just did, out of nowhere.
Does anyone on here know of a way of fixing it beside just unplugging it and plugging it back in as Nokia suggests? That method is producing no results.
It's looking like I'm going to just have to exchange it for a new one and hope this doesn't happen again. I can't find anyone else on the internet that seems to have had this problem, so hopefully it's not a big issue and mine just happens to be a lemon. I could understand if I had dropped it or something, but all it did since I got it was sit on my nightstand. One day it worked, and the next it didn't.
    Solved!

I have had problems with the charging too. Some times it works good, some times it has stoped charging during night and some times it hasn't charged at all.
I keep my Fat Boy packed charging plate on the floor besides my bed. And we have electrical floor heating.
I guess that the magnetic field the floor heating creates, when it is on, is causing my problems... So likewise any disturbing magnetic fields can do the same. In my case the heating comes on at 10 PM and is normally on for hour or so. Quite often I go to bed before or at that time. So I am quite sure that the problem is what I just explained.
The question to Nokia is, that my phone is still showing that it is charging. Is the problem in the brains of the charging plate (does it have any?) or the phone (Lumia 920)? As it's clear that the external magnetic field can disturb the charging process, but like in my case the disturbance is only temporary. So couldn't there be more intelligence on the devices that they could recover from this?
I can correct it my self, if I noticed it before morning, by taking phone of the plate and putting it back. Couldn't the phone do this by itself when it notices that the battery actually isn't charging? I mean some how disconnect itself from the wireless charger and connect again...
Oh and the charging is okay despite my floor heating, when I manage to but the charging plate exactly right place on the floor. There is some one centimeter marging to do that. So I haven't got it right every time.
And I don't know what the light of the charger is sayin as it is inside the fat boy cover... Didn't even remember that there is any lights...

  • Lumia 920 Wireless Charging Plate...where do i get...

    Hi,
Just traded my iPhone 5 (Had every single iPhone since the Original) for the Nokia Lumia 920.
I got it from Best Buy and I must say Im really impressed with the Lumia 920.
Still learning the features on my new phone but im liking it so far.
My question is where do i sign up to get the free Wireless charger?

I believe the free wireless charger was only available from some network carriers only and not universally across the U.S. or other countries and territories. If you are unable to find a retailer of the charging plates, you can click the Nokia Support link at the bottom of this page to chat online with a Nokia representative directly, who will be able to point you in the right direction.

  • Will I get charged by verizon for using free wireless in a foreign country

Hello, Sorry if this question has been asked before.
I am in a foreign location right now. DO not have any international plans with Verizon (just domestic USA phone minutes, and internet).
I notice that my droid-2 picks up the free wireless in the hotel and connects to internet with full functionality.
Will Verizon charge me for this, even though I am using free wireless?
I could not seem to find this answer on verizon's FAQ's.
DOnt want a giant internet access bill for simply using hte phone as a device to check email!!!

If you are talking about WiFi wireless, no. If you are talking about 3G / "Data" wireless, yes, very much so.
Since you mention "hotel wireless" I assume you're talking about WiFi so you should be fine. If you are in most of Europe, you're probably fine as there is very little support for CDMA in Europe. Asia is a different story, that does support CDMA in many locations, so you could be data roaming.

  • Nokia Lumia Icon + DT900 wireless charging problem

I bought a Nokia Lumia Icon which had a defected SIM card tray. I replaced the daughter engine board where the SIM card tray is located without charging the phone first (the battery was completely empty) and now when I'm trying to charge the phone wirelessly with DT900, it just doesn't work. So I don't know whether it worked (or not) before my fixing procedure.
DT900 works with my wife's Lumia 1020 and my Lumia 928 so there's nothing wrong with it.
So all you technical gurus over here:
    1) how does the wireless charging work with Lumia Icon/930? I.e. does anyone have any wiring diagrams for Lumia Icon/930? There are two pins on the main board but where do they go? I didn't detach the main board, only the engine cover assembly and the battery in order to replace the daughter engine board where the SIM card tray is. So does the engine cover assembly have anything to do with the wireless charging (I don't think so) or do those pins go straight to the battery?
    2) does anyone know whether this is a common problem among Lumia Icon / 930 phones? A type fault or a serie of phones with defective rear cover and its wireless charging assembly?
I'd really appreciate if someone could help me. Thanks a lot in advance!

And I think that this kinda censorship sucks
I can understand that when a manufacturer provides a free user forum they do not appreciate information posted which may cause problems and then be held responsible for the damages as it is an 'official' resource provided by the manufacturer.
I'd suggest you lookup the meaning of censorship which this most definately is not.

  • Missing Samsung Wireless Charging Pad with Purchase of Galaxy S6

    Hi Bestbuy,
I recently ordered the Galaxy S6 on bestbuy.com. I saw a page that said Free Samsung Wireless Charging Pad with Galaxy S6 purchase valid 3/27/15-5/9/15. I noticed it wasn't added to my order. I also called the customer service line and the representative didn't know what I was talking about. Could you guys please help me out.
    Thank you!
    Jason

    Hi JDiep,
I hope that you have had a great weekend thus far.
From the information I have reviewed, we did recently offer a free Samsung Wireless Charger with the purchase of a Samsung Galaxy S6 or S6 Edge.  You would need to have added the charger to your online shopping cart during checkout in-order to advantage of the promotional offer.  I looked over the order you placed using the email address you registered with the forum and it does not appear the charger was attached to your order when it was submitted.
With that having been said, I will be sending you a private message so that I can go over your order with you in additional detail to see what I can potentially do to help.  To check your private messages, you will want to login to the forum and click on the little yellow envelope icon located at the top of the page.  I look forward to further speaking with you.
Thank you for posting to the forum and enjoy your new Samsung Galaxy S6!

  • 920 chiming on the wireless charging pad... grrr.....

A while back, one of the updates to the Lumia 920 caused it to begin chiming periodically while resting on the wireless charging pad (or, as I've discovered, sitting in the wireless car charger, too). I'm not talking about the initial chime when it is first set down and begins charging. No, this chime happens randomly as long as it remains on the charger... I've heard it happen a couple of times within just a few minutes, and I've heard it wait an hour or two before going off again. Of course, if you set the phone to vibrate, it will just "buzz" instead of "bing," but it's still going off.
Prior to this problem, I used to set my 920 on the wireless charger on my nightstand and let it juice up overnight. Once the binging started, I was forced to either stop using the wireless charger (bummer... that's one of the things I really like about the 920) or set the phone to silence so I could sleep through the random vibrating (though my work requires me to be on-call for emergencies, so that doesn't really work).
When I first contacted Nokia about this problem several months ago, they said they were aware of the problem and would fix it in a future update. Well, the "black" update didn't fix it.
I spoke with Customer Support at Nokia today, and the guy had no knowledge of the problem. (Wasn't too impressed with his knowledge about the phone at all, for that matter, but that's a different issue.) He asked if I had ever tried resetting the phone, which of course I had and was actually a part of the "black" update even if I hadn't. Then he suggested that it might be a problem with my specific phone, and he wanted me to send it in for an engineer to take a look. When I pointed out that we've got 4 Lumia 920s here and they all have had the same problem since it was introduced in an earlier update, he still wanted me to send in my phone.
So I'm really, really frustrated. I love my 920. In fact, the one thing that's kept me from jumping to the 1020 is the built-in wireless charging (I don't think it's as elegant when added with a case like the 1020). So am I stuck with ignoring the wireless charging capabilities now? Plugging it in the old way at night, and considering the investment of a bunch of wireless charging plates for our bedsides to be a waste?
Any chance Nokia will step in and offer a solution? Any other use figure this one out?

I had the same issue on my 820 and Black did fix it. Have you checked that you have updated all system apps after you got Black ? Lumia System Updater is one of the free apps which can do that for you.

  • Nokia 925 Wireless Charging

Hi, I have just acquired a 925 and I also have 2 920 at my place.
I seem to have a problem charging wirelessly on my 925.
Charges then disconnects then charges again.
Initially, I thought it was an issue with my charging pads, fyi, I have 2 wireless charging pads as well.
The standing version & they flat on table version.
When I place my other two 920 on either one of them, no problems charging what so ever.
This totally proves to me that neither one of the charging plates are faulty
So I thought, it's probably the chaging clip on on the phone that has issues.
I went to get it replaced today by the shop I got the 925 from.
Now I'm home, I'm still having the same problems when charging.
Is it my phone since I got the charging clip replaced already?

This an issue based on "BATCH!"
I got mine resolved by going to Nokia Care.
They replaced the back charging clip to new one & now it's charging perfectly well.
It has been observed that some back plates given as free gifts by Telcos were giving this prob.
It's not isolated, so going to Nokia Care getting it replaced would be an instant fix.
At least it did for me.

  • Qi Charging Case not charging with TYLT VÜ Wireless Charging Pad

I bought the white folding charging case plus the TYLT VÜ Wireless Charging Pad yesterday at the Verizon wireless store and it doesn't work.
The case seems to function and I do get the short screen display in the window but the Qi Charging is not happening.  Has anyone had any luck getting this to work?  I'm trying to go 100% plug free on this phone if at all possible.

  • Free wireless while travelling?

While deep in Mexico, in a private home, I found my laptop would automatically go on line with my wireless, using any of two or three wireless external (not via modem) providers whose names meant nothing to me. What, if anything, will I be billed for this? How can they tell who's gaining access? If this is free, how do these "open access" companies get their income? Thanks!

    Hi,
I don't know in Mexico, but I can talk of Canada! To my knowledge, there is no such company providing free wireless internet. So, to your question how they earn their incomes, there is no way to make money by giving free access internet without having contrats with people or at least trying to sell them something while they surf!
    When you found a free wireless connection it is most probably one of the following;
    - An unsecured private network
    - A commercial free network paid by owner as a customer service like an Internet Coffee, University, etc.
    - Or a public access gived by a non-lucrative organism like a school.
If one of your neightboor have an Internet access, or an Internet coffee, and that they do not set any securty on their wireless router, their internet connection could be simply used by anyone in the wireless range. You could not be charged unless you have a login and password or a contract stating this.
It look to me that you probably use the internet connection of one of your neightboor. Until he realize that someone else is using its connection and set a security, you will probably still have access to it.

  • Issue with Taxes getting Posted to Customer Account in case o Free of Charg

    Hi All,
We have a requirement in our project where we need to pay tax to government on   giving free of charge items to customers in a Sales order along with normal items.
But the tax should be not be charged to customer but to be born by us ( Selling company).( Since itu2019s a free of charge   , so customer should not pay the tax)
The Legal  rule  is that tax should  be calculated on Cost of Goods .
We have done the necessary configuration to calculate this tax but when the  account posting happen this tax is getting charged to customer account .
We want to change the configuration so that this should not be charged to customer but to be paid by us,
    For example .
Product Selling Price = 1000 GBP
    Free of charge , so 100 % discount = -1000 GBP
Net value of item  = 0 GBP
Cost of Good  = 100 GBP
    Tax rate = 15 %
    Tax = 15 GBP
This 15 GBP should not be charged to customer account   but to be paid by Selling company.
If anyone has faced a similar scenario  and can give some  pointers, please suggest.
    Regards,
    Divyanshu

    Dear friend,
Maintain R100 condition type ie 100% discount in the last step of your pricing procedure, so when ever you sell item with TANN item category the value will become ZERO. Try this and let use know.
    Regards,
    Sudhir
