Free Xbox w/ laptop purchase

Hello!
I purchased a laptop from Best Buy yesterday, and found out about the free Xbox deal today. Oops. I bought a Toshiba Satellite 305 w/ Windows 7. I am a student and have a .edu email account. Is it still possible to get the free Xbox?

As I have previously stated in several other threads, Best Buy's participation in this particular program ended on 6/18/2011. The offer has since been removed from our website and is no longer available at any of our retail stores, on BestBuy.com or through our phone sales team. Additionally, as explained in this post from Microsoft's Windows Experience Blog, remember that offer end dates do vary by participating retailer.

I have gotten the coupon using my .edu email for the free Xbox 360 with a laptop purchase of $699 or higher from College Student Deals
but have seen that it says I need a valid student ID to get the deal. I have just graduated from high school and have not gone to orientation yet so I do not have a student ID from college yet. I have a high school student ID still. Does anybody know if they really check for IDs or if a high school ID would work? If not, there are other online places I can get the PC and get the laptop using only my .edu email, such as the Microsoft Store, HPDirect.com, NewEgg, and Dell.com and I will get a computer from one of those sources. I only wanted to get my laptop at BestBuy because I can g check out the laptop before I purchase it plus I hate waiting for shipping. I get impatient when having to wait for items ordered. Retrieve Xbox 360 after purchasing laptop

I bought a laptop that meets the requirements for the free Xbox 360 student deal on July 8th 2012 but I didn't know the deal was going on at the time. Is there a way I can still claim the free Xbox 360? I am a current student and have all the requirements met to get the Xbox 360.

alright so I want a this laptop .. dell inspiron 17 inch i5 6mb ram blu ray player .. pretty sweet with good reviews .. theres this promotion for a free xbox if your a student and you buy a computer of 699 or more .. you need a student id and studen edu email .. since this computer is a gift for a girlfriend who has a student id and a valid edu address .. can i still use my card for this purchase? i mean why the heck you need to be a student when your spending 800 is beyond me but will best buy allow this .. or will i run into some red-tape here? .. aany suggestions for from people who got this deal?

Assuming you purchased QT Pro, you can always download it again at no extra charge by logging in to your Apple account.
Regarding FCE, there is no way to download & install the product. You need an original FCE install disk and your FCE serial number.
Final Cut Pro X (aka FCPX) can be purchased & downloaded from the App Store.

The Apple external SuperDrive actually exceeds the allowed power draw. Because of this, it is only trouble-free on certain models that accommodate this excess.
All others require an external Power source.

I bought an Xbox One Assassin's Creed bundle this Sunday, November 2nd. Is this bundle eligible for this promotion? A free Xbox Live 12-Month Gold Membership is a great deal, so I can understand asking if the Xbox One bundle you recently purchased would be eligible. As offizzdeapo14 mentioned, the terms of the offer state that the Xbox One and Xbox Live membership would need to be purchased on the same receipt during the Holiday Shopping Event in-order to be eligible for the promotional savings. With that being said, the Xbox One bundle that you purchased would not be eligible because it was not purchased during the actual event.

I have apple ID but after signing into that account too, it does't allow to update. None of the updates for these application are show in software update of late, but it flashes in the dock where app store is . Kindly suggest.

Should be the account you registered your mac with, and/or the account you used during the setup assistant.

How to get 6 months free Xbox Music on Encore 8

I've just got my tablet and I'm pretty impressed so far.
The only query I have isn't really a support issue as such but it says it comes with 6 months free Xbox Music, there's nothing in the box to redeem.
There's no mention of it in the Toshiba Places App and signing into the Xbox Music App on the device doesn't register me or add this subscription.
Is there something missing from the box, or am I missing something obvious?

I also read on Toshiba ENCORE WT8-A-103 specification page that this device comes with the +XBOX "to go"+ service. The Encore also comes with six months free access to Xbox music and provides unlimited access to millions of songs wherever you are.
But the availability can vary by country and this detail should be checked with your dealer.

If you registered CS4 then you might be able to find the serial number for it in your Adobe account online. If not, you still might be able to get someone in chat to assist you with getting it.

I recently acquired a G3 400MHz FW Pismo laptop. It has the original 10GB HD installed. The laptop had Tiger installed along with other numerous applications, leaving only 1.05 GB free. I was thinking about installing some more applications, but it's somewhat dangerous to get below a GB of free space.
I discovered the freeware Monolingual, a program for removing unnecessary language resources from Mac OS X, in order to reclaim several hundred megabytes of disk space. It requires at least Mac OS X 10.3.9 (Panther) and also works on Mac OS X 10.4 (Tiger). http://monolingual.sourceforge.net/
I tried it out, & it deleted almost 1.5GB of drive space. Now I have 2.5GB free.

Here is what I foundMac OS X Remove Localized Files: Mac OS X and many Mac OS X applications include files that allow them to be used by people who speak different languages. Even if you choose not to install "extra" languages, your Mac usually has several alternate languages available. And every time you install or update an application, you get more of them. For example, the iTunes 4.0 installer includes Chinese (both Taiwan and mainland), Danish, Dutch, English, Finnish, French, German, Italian, Korean, Japanese, Norwegian, Portuguese, Spanish, and Swedish versions.
If you don't speak some of those languages, you'll never use those files (and never miss them), so you can safely remove them and save disk space. There are other applications that can do this, but to be really useful you'll need to run them again every time you install a new application or update Mac OS X.
These files can take more space than you might guess. The first time I ran this job on my Mac, I saved 322MB of files I was never going to use anyway. With that space I could import a half-dozen of my CDs into iTunes and not be using any more disk space than when I started.
Removing localized files can take a while, mostly taken up in looking for the files, and will take longer on larger drives. For reference it akes about 10-12 minutes on a drive with about 22GB used. This job requires that you configure it, so that you can tell it which languages you want to remove.When I installed OS X I had deselected the option for Foreign Language Translations, and thought I didn't have them. According to this, I still have some, with more added with each installation. Very interesting.
Thanks for suggesting that. I looked in the usual place for the help menu, but since Macaroni is installed in System Preferences it does not run like a regular application. I found a help button at the bottom of the window.

Generally only if it was purchased less than thirty days prior to the availability of the new version. And only for certain products (not Premiere Pro or any of the Creative Cloud products).
