Free XML feeds for Stock and Weather ?

Hi All,
Please let me know if there is any XML feed available for Stock and Weather. I googled a lot but couldn't find free XML feed providers.

I tried finance.yahoo.com for stock. I prepared a sample file in which I used 'trace' to see the response. However I can't see any XML data.
I have attached both .fla and .swf files. Could you please check did I miss anything in the actionscript part?

Ipod touch apps "stocks" and "weather" will no longer update data.

the apps on my Touch "stocks" and "weather" have failed to update since 1-30-10.
I have done a full "restore" and reloaded all other apps and music files but these 2 apps still fail to update? could it be the new software package? Both apps are "powered by yahoo"

I'd wonder if for some reason your ability to contact that yahoo widget is failing....
Did anything recently occur?
I've had this happen breifly in the past, but that was resolved once the yahoo services came back online.
It's strange, but as long as you have internet connection and the yahoo services can respond (saying that its not blocked by your ISP, WLAN, or other services) it should update.

Today only, Stocks and Weather incredibly slow...

Getting info for either app is taking far longer than usual and has occurred on 2 Touch's we own, with no other wifi apps affected. Anyone else notice that today, Stocks and Weather are very slow to update? They are taking about 15-25 seconds instead of the usual 3-6 seconds.

The problem has resolved itself. Apparently there were server issues.

Notification Center - Stocks and Weather

Stocks and weather are not showing up in my notification center. Even in Settings there is not an option for it. What is going on? Location services are on.

I'm having the same issue. Comparing my phone to my bosses phone, I am missing three sliders. One for stocks, one for reminders, and one for tomorrow summary. We both have the same iPhone 5. Picture below shows my issue. My phone is on the left.
Any ideas?

Stocks and Weather apps broken under 3.0?

Hey gang-
Just upgraded my 1st gen iPod Touch to 3.0. Safari and Mail work fine, so networking and wifi are all good. But the Stocks and Weather apps won't update...the progress spinner just goes continuously. Anyone else seeing this?

The next question will be what weather and stock apps will display data in Notifications similar to an iPhone. Sure there are lots of apps available but nothing I found will duplicate the features found on the iPhone.

True planned order are generated for both the cases but the planned order generated for sales order will have sales order number in the below column and for stock will show independent requirement. Mainly no sales order reference will be there for make to stock scenario.

I am in need of a weather and stock widget, similiar to the ones on the iphone 4s, that allow you to display current stocks and weather in the notification window but i need it for the ipad2.

the iphone 4s came with a weather and a stock widget. these could be configured in notifications to CONSTANTLY display stock prices and the days weather whenever you pulled down the notification window. the ipad2 doesn't have these programs and i have spend a small fortune and time looking for this same feature. does anyone out there know off a weather and stock program that will let you program stocks into the notification window and then stream the stocks and prices acrossthe screen continously when you open the notification window. Also does anyone know of a weather program that will display the days current conditions ALL THE TIME, not just when the wind picks up or it snows.
the ipad2 doesn't have these built in programs and i can't find similiar ones in the app store.

Xml feeds for weather data in app

I'm trying to plug weather related data in my application.I got some weather tools from weather.com. As per the instructions there, I copy the partner id and licence key and code into my app. Being a novice in RSS feeds/ xml feeds, I've hard times to get this work.
Has anyone got this work? Any help in this regard will be greatly appreciated.

Does anyone have a good xml feed or code to set that for the URL IDLE in the enterprise parameters?

As long as your phone have access to Internet (DNS or IP), you can use this.

I have a requirement to check stock of the material before issuing to Process order. Can anybody pl.tell me the exact table for the stock and batch for that material.

Thanks to all.I am getting the stock and batch but my requirement is to check total stock which is available on the day of posting.
Actually in COR6N in PP when they do goods movement even stock is not avilable still system is allowing to post the materials .And in MMBE it is showing negative stocks.
So pl.send the table which can give me total stock on a given date.

XML Parser for PLSQL and BIG5/UTF-8

I'm trying store data in traditional chinese submitted by IE5 (through oXMLHttpRequest.send() and javascript), I tried both 'encoding="BIG5"' and 'encoding="UTF-8"'.
It seems that the parser ignore all characters that are not ascii regardless of their encoding.
Any thoughts will be much appreciated

The bug 8332063 is specific to attributes created for Text predicates and that does not impose size restrictions on XMLtype attributes.

My automatic sign-in and location (eg for news and weather) details do not stick, despite all history and cookie settings being set never to clear, unlike with Firefox 3x..

I can set location on www.bbc.co.uk for local news and weather but details are no longer retained between browsing sessions. I have checked the history and cookie settings and they are not supposed to clear anything. A similar problem exists with a site where I want to stay signed in so that I am automatically recognised in a new browsing session; this does not work. These problems seem specific to Firefox 4 because they did not exist with Fx 3, using the same settings. I have also checked add-ons; disabling them makes no difference.

Just a quick question: can we have an official position from Sun regarding support of earlier releases of Solaris with Java RTS 2.1? Our customer is currently running Solaris 10 Update 3 with current Recommended patches, and the 2.1 beta cyclic driver supported this version of Solaris. However with the official release version of 2.1, support for U3 disappeared (only U4 and U5 are now supported). Aside from "rubber stamping" the Solaris build via /etc/release, is there a technical reason why U3 is no longer supported? As long as our kernel is up to date, can we safely use 2.1? Or is it just a case of being unable to officially support and test so many releases of Solaris?
Is this a general rule-of-thumb we can expect in future: only supporting the last 2 updates of Solaris 10?
