Free year of Creative Cloud that I can't use right away.

I won a license for a year of Adobe Creative Cloud, but I want to use it on an Apple computer that I don't have the money for right now. Will the year begin from the date I register the license using the code or from the day it was given to me?

No-one knows exactly when you won the license.
Unless there is an expiry date on whatever was issued to you (email? voucher?) to notify you that you'd won then my guess would be that it will start counting from the date you first activate your Cloud membership with Adobe. i.e. when you first install and activate the software.

    I need to output a Flash banner ad at target level 9. I have tried using the common workaround ( andykenward/old-flash-in-flash-cc · GitHub ) to make target 9 output possible from CC 2014, but it does not seem to work with the actionscript clicktag code provided by Yahoo https://au.adspecs.yahoo.com/pages/flash-guidelines/
    I keep getting a 1119 error.
    Perhaps someone might have a solution to the code, but I'm at my wit's end (with a pissed off client) and need a solution in a hurry.
    So, is there a way to download an older version of Flash from CC?

    For versions you could also consider acquiring older trial versions of Flash if you only need it for a short timeframe.  Be sure to follow the steps outlined in the Note: Very Important Instructions section on the download pages at this site and have cookies enabled in your browser or else the download will not work properly.

    Update your graphics driver and enable the respective options under Preferences --> Performance --> Hardware Accelelration.

    Yes you can! It is a Basic level site but you can build it without Muse. I think you may need to create the site originally with Dreamweaver or Muse (meaning creating the site with Business Catalyst not building the site) but once that is done you can use any software to create the code for the site and upload it via SFTP. Hope that makes sense.

    I was told that Lightroom 5 is now available as free download for Creative Cloud members, and as a perpetual license. How do I take advantage of this? I have creative cloud, and lightroom 4, but I dont know how to get the perpetual license.  I am also a student.

    You dont need perpetual license. Creative cloud membership entitles you to get Lightroom 5. Please do check that you meet the the system requirements of Lightroom: http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-lightroom/tech-specs.html. If you don't have Creative cloud Membership, you can get the perpetual licence/subscription of Lightroom 5 from the link I just gave.

  • Is the way the free trial of creative cloud runs, how it the actual service runs?

    I downloaded the free trial of creative cloud to see if I wanted to purchase.  However, when I am using the apps, my computer is slowed down and sometime does not even work.   I have a 2012 macbook pro.  Will the actual service work better or still cause these problems?

    The programs are the real deal and will work the same in the paid versions. Your slowness may be caused by using some specific features. E.g. using TypeKit and the Sync feature have been known to cause slowdowns due to continual file transfers happening in the background. These are specific to certain combinations of Mac OSX with CC on certain types of network connections, however, and not a general issue. You can always try and turn off those features globally in the CC app. Likewise graphics acceleration features in some apps are dependent on the latest drivers and updates and you may need to tweak just that. For anything more you would have to provide more info and describe the specific issues. Just saying that your computer is slow is by all means vague, generic and mostly useless.

    I am a new Indesign user and a Creative Cloud member.  I was using the Window/Pages drop down window to view my pages alphabetically or by page number and also to determine whether or not my JPEG files were sufficiently HI-Res for the printer.  I don't know how I did it but somehow the window has changed so that now it does not have the alphabetical/numerical/Hi-Res information.  It just shows the pages in a two page spread in numerical order.  How can I restore the window so that I will be able to view the information as I did previously.

    The pages panel is not the place where you see this information.  You can customize the Links panel to show all sorts of things, including the page number, effective and actual ppi, and whether the link is OK or needs updating.

  • My changes to a duplicated page are not syncing up in the Creative Cloud. How can I fix this?

    I'm using Adobe Proto on an iPad. I created one page and successfully viewed it in the Creative Cloud. Then I duplicated that 1st page so I could work on the next page in that project. I made some changes to the 2nd page and then synced the project with the Creative Cloud again.
    Once I try to view the 2nd page in the Creative Cloud, it's still an exact copy of the 1st page. In other words, my changes on the 2nd page don't show up. I've tried synching the project many times and I get the same result. Tried opening the project from another browser, same result.
    My changes to a duplicated page are not syncing up in the Creative Cloud. How can I fix this?

    Yes, I'm 99% certain the project is being synced. If I duplicate more than the one page so that I end up with more than 2 pages, I still see every single page that I duplicated and made changes as the initial version of the page.
    I duplicated that 1st page again so that I have 3 pages. I made changes to the 3rd one and I'm still not seeing those changes when I look at the page in Creative Cloud. I see the new, 3rd page, so that should mean the project is being synced, correct?

    1. I am running on Windows 8.1
    2. When running the installer file from https://creative.adobe.com/products/download/reflow I get the following choice
    I click "OK" which doesn't do anything for me (CC is off).
    I turn CC on and run the installer again. I get the following window that within few settings disappears:
    Then - just for half a second it says "Launching Creative Cloud desktop" and then it brings CC to front, and that's all.
    RF still not there.
    3. I spoke ta support agent on the Adobe chat on Friday. He looked into my computer for an hour. Uninstalled After Effects (after failing to update it). For some reason all apps disappeared from the list. They then reappeared after he opened PS.
    This morning After Effects is still showing up in my system and is operational.
    Weird.
    4. At the end the agent suggested maybe Firewall is the problem here. Trying that out now.

    The $19.99 plan is not the full Cloud - it's a Single App subscription. One app only. All the other apps are 30 day free trials then they stop working.
    If you choose to subscribe to Muse, and Muse alone, as a Single App subscription then it's $14.99/month.
    Click the Join button under Single App at https://creative.adobe.com/plans and click on each app to see their individual pricing.
    If you want more than 2 apps then the full Cloud is more cost effective.
