Freehand page will not scroll

I use FH10 for Windows. I recently had to reinstall and now
my page will not scroll. It scrolls in other applications

This behaviour looks like [https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=602882 bug 602882] which is applicable to Maemo.

  • Droid 3 - web pages will not scroll

I've noticed about a week ago that some web pages on the native Droid 3 browser will not scroll by touching the screen and moving your finger..  It may be related to only those pages that are not built for mobile devices.  Example: www.nickslighthouse.com.

While this may not apply to all browser issues, most of the time the issue can be fixed by following a few simple steps.  The first thing I always recommend is clearing the cookies and cache from the browser.  Browser> Menu Key> More> Settings> Clear Cache> Clear all cookie data.  The web page errors generally occur when the content on the site has been changed, but your device is trying to load saved cookie data from the previous times that it was accessed.  Give that a shot and let us know the results.
You can also try this on multiple devices. Some sites contain content that simply isn't compatible with mobile devices.  This can sometimes be bypassed by manually keying in the mobile version of the web page if not automatically redirected there.  For example, when you navigate to www.websitename.com the mobile version of it will be m.websitename.com (generally).
Let us know if you have any other questions or have any breaking news on your issue.

  • Some web pages will not scroll after update7

Recently was FORCED to update my Ipad if I wanted to use podcasts. Now, some webpages will not scroll down and lockup. (safari)
Never had this problem before update.  So I purchased another browser, (atomic) and it does the same thing.
(and I dreaded update due to bugs!)

To be specific, a news website AL.com
I can scroll the main site, but if I open a news story, it opens and locks. Yes, I have rebooted, hard reset.

  • In safari a lot web pages will not scroll all the way down

a lot of web pages in safari will not scoll all the way to the bottom what do I do

You can try to resetting Safari. Tap Settings, then tap Safari on the left side. Then on the right side - tap clear history, clear cookies, clear cache. Clear all three. Reboot your iPad. Hold down on the sleep button at the top until the red slider appears and slide to power off. Then hold down on the sleep button until the Apple logo appears and the iPad will restart. Launch Safari and see if helped.
If you are trying to scroll through an area of text and can't scroll to the bottom try a two finger scroll.

  • Pages created with DWT will not scroll

I recently acquired a contract to update a site built in CS2 with tables to something that's HTML 4.01 compliant. I'm using CS5 and have updated the DWT's design, but now my pages will not scroll using the new template. I've tried using the overflow tag in several ways and locations within the DWT and style sheet itself, but to no avail. I have also created new pages from this template and they won't scroll either. I'm clearly missing something, does anyone have any ideas as to what that is? Does anyone need snippets of code?
    Thanks, Kevin

Why are tables not HTML 4.01 compliant?
Regardless, you have to post a link to the page in question or provide the code (both HTML & CSS) for examination.  The typical link you will be pointed to is the validator, so you may want to clean up as much as you can before you provide the link.

  • Just installed Safari on PC.  MS wireless mouse will not scroll on most pages; will scroll on history section of homepage.  Any explanation?

  • 1 sheet with multiple pages will not show various page numbers

I'm having a difficult time differentiating between pages and sheets in Numbers. For example, I have 1 sheet with 5 pages. I am inserting page numbers (done, re-done several times after looking through the forum), but each page will not print with a sequential number (ie. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5). Instead, each page is 1. When I scroll over the number "1" on, say, page 3, the number 3 shows up. But unfortunately t will not print with anything but page number 1.

I am having a problem that is close to this, when I try and preview my site in browser some of the pages show up as a white and gray blocks only.  I can not seem to find any reason or connection to what pages are doing this.  The only page that has a video seems to work fine.  Its almost acting like the links are broken or something.  Any help would be welcomed.
    Thanks
    Mike

  • IPhone Simulator will not scroll

I've the latest Xcode, Mac OSX, and Safari. When I use the iPhone Simulator to test a Drupal website I've developed the simulator will not scroll any of the pages. I'm using a MacAir with no mouse. What do I have to do to scroll?

I suspect you have the Voiceover accessibility feature turned on. The easiest fix is to connect your phone to iTunes. Select the "Configure Universal Access" button in the summary pane and turn Voiceover off.

  • Window will not scroll down in Design mode in DW CC 2014

On a Wacom Companion running DW 2014.1.1, build 6981 Windows 8.0, opening a page, it will not scroll down in Design unless I click Split, then it will scroll some more and stop. Have to click modes back and forth to get to bottom of the screen. No issue viewing the page in a browser. Have 8 Tabs (pages) open, and other programs. Sys shows CPU/MEM at 38/84. Win 8.1 is installed, just need to reboot to activate upgrade.

See this article for information on how to disable VoiceOver.

  • TS2662 trackpad and mouse will not scroll

On 27" iMac using OS 10.7.4, trackpad and mouse will not scroll or swipe, can point with both, click only with mouse, scroll only with keys on keyboard.  What have I done now??? They are all paired with good batteries. Have checked in settings and they are enabled to scroll.

In Lion the scrolling is natural i.e. reversed to the way that computers typically scroll. Think of the scroll as grabbing the page an moving it either up or down vs moving the scroll bar down up or down. Also, the scroll bars are "hidden" by default and only show up when you are scrolling.
Are you using and Apple mouse? If you go to the system preferences and then to the "mouse" section there are options to change the natural scrolling. And if you go to System Preferences and then to "general" you can set it to show or hide the scroll bars.
If this is not what the issue is let me know and let me know what mouse you are using because there is something else that it could be.

  • Curve 9360 Will Not Scroll Down on Browser

Hello, I've been having trouble lately with my BB Curve in that it will decide at least once a week that it does not want to scroll down at all in the internet browser. It scrolls left and right and goes back and forth between pages just fine, loads the page just fine, but it absolutely will not scroll down! Only a reset by taking out the battery will work to let me scroll down again until the next time it decides to stop working. It doesn't seem to be a specific website I go to, either. It just doesn't want to scroll down! It isn't a critical problem, but it certainly is very annoying when I have a few tabs open and lose all my memory because I have to reset it. Can anyone please give me suggestions on how to fix it? I am hoping it is as simple as downloading some new software or something.

    Hi,
Please attempt a cache & cookies clear, then notice.
Check whether OS version is latest or not, if not upgrade it with latest one.
    Thanks..!!

  • App update page will not open, help.

When using the app's store update in which it says there is 3 updates, the update page will not open, just a blank page, can anybody help?

There is a problem with Apple’s servers that only they can fix. The problem has been going on for several days. You can try rebooting first and see if that gets the apps to show up in the updates tab.
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider if it appears on the screen - let go of the buttons. Let the iPad start up.
According to Fly150 in another discussion, this will work.
This is a workaround only and not a fix. If you want to update the Apps while waiting for Apple to fix Updates:
    1. Go to App Store
    2. Select Purchased
    3. Select All
    4. Scroll down to find the Apps showing update
    Select update on the Apps
Hopefully the red notification number will go away after the updates are applied.
Another option is to update your apps in iTunes on your computer and then sync the updated apps to the iPad.
    1. Launch iTunes
    2. Click on Apps in the list under the Library heading in the left Sidebar.
Click on Updates at the top in the window on the right
    Update all of the apps
Connect your iPad and Sync with iTunes
If you do not see the sidebar in iTunes 11 - go to View>Show Sidebar from the iTunes menu at the top.
