Freeze+labels+render=dropped video

So I have this section of video that I use segments of freeze frame, while adding a text line along the bottom, then some arrows pointing to structures. Total of 4 video tracks. Then I add transitions, so the labels, etc. blend in instead of jumping on the screen. Everything seeems fine, so I render the video to view it. Then, somehow, I am unable to view the primary video freeze, and only the text and arrows remain. The freeze is still in the timeline, unscathed, but I only see a black screen with label and arrows in the canvas. If I pause the video and place the slider inside the problem area, again, no freeze, just arrows. This remains, too, if I export the video to quicktime.
Strange thing is that if I try this multiple ways, occasionally I get the entire segment of freeze deleted, and occasionally it is just a few frames. Any thoughts?

So, here's my process...
1) create freeze frame, load into V1
2) create text label via Title, load into V2
3) create arrow, via Title, load into V3 (this is done by changing font to Wingding, or whatever, typing arrow character, then using the motion tab of Title to rotate arrow and Control to arrange in screen
4) then add transitions to text and arrow
-when I view the titles in the canvas while editing, the background is checkered, telling me it is transparent
So, now when I browse through individual frames in the viewer, I can see the underlying freeze frame along with the text and arrow, displayed in Viewer. This tells me that my transparency settings are correct. Again, at this point I can slow-mo through the unrendered and everything looks fine.
Now I render. A couple things may happen.
a) the underlying freeze frame is lost during the period of the arrow track (in the viewer)
b) the underlying freeze frame goes to ~50% opacity in the viewer
Either way, the freeze frame returns if I undo my render. If I delete the freeze frame track from the timeline, then reinsert the source, again I can view the freeze frame while unrendered, but lose it once rendering occurs.

Taking an Impossible Amount of time to Render a video

Greetings,
I'm using Adobe Premiere Elements 11 for Video editing and it is taking a very very very very long time to render. *about 15 Hours for an Hour and Twenty minuet video. It is exporting to H.264 MP4. HD 1080P
I have 12 Gig of Ram and I'm using AMD Athlon II 4x 640 in An HP Pavilion P6727 Desktop Computer.
What is taking so long? If I was to boost my memory up to 16 Gig Ram would it make that big of a difference?

The amount of time it takes to render your video depends on how fast your processor is, how much RAM you have, what operating system you're using, what model of camcorder your video is coming from and what resolution and format it is. If you are using photos in your project, your rendering time can also increase and the program may freeze if your photos are larger than 1000x750 pixels in size.
What model of camcorder is your video coming from, etc?
Are you talking about just rendering your timeline for smooth playback or are you talking about rendering to output a finished video?

CS4 Freezes upon render OR clicking on timeframe clip

Premiere refuses to render the work area despite how many times I click on it, or wait for it, and occasionally the preview window just glitches and displays my background. It has also begun to freeze whenever I clip on the clip in the timeline, or attempt to trim it.
I know I'm gonna get some people telling me to update my video card or something stupid like that, but I haven't installed or uninstalled ANYTHING in the past week...or two weeks for that matter.
I have no programs running, rebooted several times, etc, nothin'.
I am on Windows Vista, ASUS Laptop, 4GB RAM, 1GB Nvidia Video Card, CS4 Production Package...not pirated either (that would obviously screw things up).
Hope you guys can help.

You might think that you have not changed anything, but if you have a default Windows installation, then you will be very wrong, as the OS will update automatically, with no input from you. This can render a video, or audio driver obsolete instantly. Still, so that I do not make you mad, I will not mention updating those. Obviously, they cannot be an issue.
Now, you mention that the Timeline will not Render, when you "click on it." Well, that is not how one Renders. One will hit the Enter key to Render the Timeline, but it will only Render the WAB (Work Area Bar), and what you get might not be what you expect. Hit the \ [Backslash key], and then Dbl-click on the little bar in the center of the WAB to make sure that it is expanded to cover the full Timeline Duration.

Help! I can no longer choose Adobe Media Encoder when trying to Render a Video.

When I try to Render a Video, only the JPG option is available, but I need to render a Quicktime.
Most likely related is a new error I receive when launching Photoshop CS6 Extended: "Could not complete your request because of a program error." This dialog box has an OK button. Once i click this, it opens no problem. Had been ignoring this until today when I couldn't render my video.
I have not changed anything with Photoshop so not sure why this is happening now, when it didn't use to before.
Please help!

Sorry, of course you would need that. I'm running Windows 7 Professional and have Adobe Photoshop CS6 Extended for 64-bit. PS version number is 13.0.1 x64.
What else would be needed?

Bridge CC - 64 bit freezes when selecting a video file icon in content view

On a 64-bit PC (12 core, 64 GIG RAM) with solid state hard drive and Nvidia Quadra 4000 video card with latest driver. I have purged cache, I have reset preferences, I have changed shortcut to Run As Administrator. I've tried to find a way to run in 32-bit mode but can't find a way to do it. I've also looked to see how I can install a 32-bit version with Adobe Cloud but can't find anything. Any ideas how to stop Bridge CC 64-bit from continually freezing upon selecting a video file icon?

Thanks for the response. From what I can tell it is all video file types. The ones I most consistently have are .wmv, .mov, .mp4. I have also changed the file associations from the default video players to VLC to see if it was a Quicktime or Windows Media Player issue and that didn't solve it.

I also have the same issue..whenever i turn the 60 fps mode on the camera freezes while switching from video to any other mode...does everyone have the same issue?

Yup, i have the same issue, i reported this with apple and there is ticket opened for me with
the engineering section. more that month still not solved. I was hope after update to IOS 8.1.3 to fix!
But not fixed yet.

Cant Drag and Drop Video to 60 gig

Hi everyone. I finally decided to try and put some video on my ipod video. For some reason though i cant drag and drop video onto the ipod. The files are all proper format so that is not the problem.
If i add the videos to my library and then have it auto-update the videos it will add them to the ipod. I cannot simply create a playlist of them though and drag it on, or drag a single video onto the ipod.
Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

Freeze while looking Flash Video in Safari

this is my first post here and im happy to become a member in this great community.
Further sorry for my bad english.....
Now my problem and i hope you can give me some advice to solve my problem.
I have a problem to watch Flash Movie in Safari, after some minutes my MacBook freeze and i must shutdown the book.
The same problem is while i wachting movies with the VLC-Player....the OSX Lion is up-to date.

i would like to know can i avoid to recode/render my video if i edit/add audio ?
in case i can do ,is video codec dependent ?
for example i load a video avi Codec: MPEG-4 Video (XVID) i had to edit the audio , and i want to save , is there a way to avoid another render/recode ?

The nice fellow over at this site created an audio only cross dissolve in Motion and inlcuded the files and instructions for getting it into FCP X.

Windows Media Video Export - Dosn't Render entire video

Every time I try to render a video in wmv in IMOVIE, it only renders about half of the video, how do I make it render the whole thing.

Are you using Flip4Mac?
If so, you need to purchase the entire package-not just the trial version.
Trial version only allows you to export about 30 seconds...

Drag and drop videos onto iphone

Basically, I can't for some reason drag and drop videos onto my iphone 4. I manually manage my music and vids, songs I can drag and drop, but when it comes to videos, nothing happens. I have converted my videos to mp4 h264 format as required and still no progress. I cant think of what to do now. Someone help!!!

Now I tried downloading other albums that are in my library but not on my phone and those didn't work either. Could it be my phone or itunes that's not working?

Drag-drop video into iphone not working

All my music and video all of a sudden disappeared off my iphone (the video podcast still were there though). I was updating and poking around, but I really don't think I delete them accidentally. I've always just dragged and dropped videos from the finder directly onto the iPhone via iTunes and never had problems before. Now after the mysterious missing music and video, I can't drag and drop any more. These are h.264 video files that have worked in the past. If I re-compress the videos in QT pro using Export>Movie to iPhone I can drag and drop. If I choose Export>movie to Quicktime Movie I can't (even though it's worked before and the settings fall within spec... h.264, etc ). ARRRG!
The only thing I haven't done yet is restore the iPhone. I was worried that my camera roll would disappear. Any thoughts? Help!

Photos in your iPhone's Camera Roll are included with your iPhone's backup, which is updated if needed as the first step during the sync process - if any of the data on your iPhone that is included with the backup has changed since the last sync. But you shouldn't depend on your iPhone's backup alone for these photos. These photos should be imported by an app on your computer as with any other digital camera.
If you use iPhoto on your Mac for photo storage, you can use iPhoto for the import. If not, you can use the Image Capture app located in your Applications folder.
Assuming you are syncing your iPhone with iTunes for other content, your iPhone's backup should be updated as the first step during the sync process if any of the data included with your iPhone's backup has changed since the last sync - which is usually 100% of the time.
If you restore your iPhone from your iPhone's backup, any photos that were in your iPhone's Camera Roll should be restored with your iPhone's backup, but as already provided, you shouldn't depend on your iPhone's backup alone for these photos. Photos in your iPhone's Camera Roll should be imported by an application on your computer as with any other digital camera. If you use iPhoto for photo storage on your Mac, you can use iPhoto for this. If you don't use iPhoto, you can use the Image Capture application for this.
I do download the photos to iTunes, so there is that backup as well.
You don't download any photos to iTunes - not from your iPhone or from anywhere else for that matter. iTunes does not handle the import of photos from the iPhone's Camera Roll or from any digital camera. This must be done with a separate application such as with iPhoto or the Image Capture application on a Mac.
You can transfer photos from your computer to your iPhone via the iTunes sync process - selected under the Photos tab for your iPhone sync preferences, but iTunes does not have anything to do with photos in your iPhone's Camera Roll except for including these photos along with other data for your iPhone's backup.

CS4: No option to export as FLV in Render to Video

Does anyone know why one installation of CS4 would show the Export s FLV in the Render to Video QuickTime settings, but a different machine doesn't.
Flash CS4 is installed on both machines.

Thanks to Sandie - I have the same problem on a PC - it works on my own HP labtop and stationary Mac with XP with PhotoShop CS3 - but the client's Acer toy-machine - CS4 - it doesent work.
Then I did what Sandie did - copy the Quicktime plugin in QTComponents - the file FLV.qtx - and copy to the clients machine - and it's work fine.

Mov files dropping video and audio frames CC 2014

I have been experiencing playback issues in Premiere and just got off the phone with Adobe support. It appears that there is known issue with .mov files dropping video and audio frames that will likely be fixed in the next release. My entire project is .mov files and we need to get some serious editing done to complete a rough cut of our film. As a bandaid, we have reverted the playback renderer to software only and I am experimenting with different preview file formats to see if I will have less dropped frames. I want to avoid converting my media from mov files at all costs as this would be very time consuming with over 100 hours of footage.
Please let me know if you have any other workarounds!
