Freeze loses audiobook license on zen v p

my zen v + freezes a lot. when it does, it loses the netlibrary audiobook license for the books i have downloaded. no problems on playback until it freezes. books are still there, but no license. have twice replaced the firmware with the latest. still have problem. last time i let the battery run down instead of resetting with the pinhole. same problem. help!

Being an iOS developer, I can tell you that iOS. 7 compatibility for iPad came later in the beta process.
Therefore there wa less time to test iOS 7 on iPad. My suggestion to you would be to wait until Apple refreshes the iPad line before you update. At that point they will most likely release an iOS 7 update optimized for iPad.
With that said they are many people running iOS 7 on their iPads without issue.
Remember, this is a help forum. No one posts success stories here.

Do I lose perpetual license if I upgrade to creative cloud?

If I upgrade to creative cloud do I lose my license to my copy of CS5.5? So a year later when my membership expires and I decide that it is not for me, I have lost everything? Thanking you.

Your post is not clear. If you have no plan, were you using it as an iPod Touch? Did you try to restore and activate it again?

Audiobook license lost after resetting with pin my Zen V plus that was fro

i've had my zen v plus?3 mos. it has locked up about 6 times, and i reset with a paper clip in the small hole. this last time i had 5 netlibrary audiobooks on it. all licenses were ok, and i had listened to 2 of the books. after i reset after a lockup this time, the books were still there, but?i got the msg "no license to play..sync license from pc" on all of the books. all firmware and updates are current. why is it doing this?

Whoops--I fixed it...lol!!? I just reset it, and then held down the power & the play buttons at the same time and then cleaned it up, and rebooted it. I looked it up somewhere else on this forum, but thanks anyways guys!?

Nano: 30 second plus hang (freeze) with audiobooks & lectures (30 min files

I just got a 4g Nano. I'm having a problem where when I press play to listen to longer files (30 min lectures, audiobooks, etc.) I the screen hangs for about 30 seconds and then works fine. When I press buttons, when it finally stops hanging it executes those "commands" all at once. I never have any significant freezes or hangs with normal songs. It is frustrating because my 4g ipod plays audiobooks without a hitch. Has anyone else had this problem? Any suggestions?

This is my first mp3 player, so, does anyone know where i can download the 'Gorillaz rise of the orgre' audiobook?
I don't think you can from the itunes because its apple.
But can the Micro download audiobook tracks?

Do the files have tags already? If not you can pull the data from the filename into the tag using a program like Tag & Rename or The Godfather (Google to find these).

But when I go to organize the Zen all of the Stephen King will be under his name like they are all on album. I just got the Zen about 3 days ago and trying to organize it has been a BIG headache. Can anyone help me with this please?

My PC freezes everytime i connect my Zen V P

Since last week, everytime I connect my Zen V Plus to my PC, it just freeze. And when I unplug the cable, PC runs back to normal. I used to be able to connect it to PC without any problem. Now my Zen V Plus still able to play songs normally. And it still charging when I plug the cable to PC. But I can't add songs to it coz PC just freeze.
I got USB 2.0 and Windows Media Player installed. Could it be any hardware problem? I tried to push reset button and the problem is still the same..
Please advice..

Sorry to hear you are having problems. You could try setting the Zen up as a removable disk. Once you set it up re-attach to the PC. If the problems occur then it could very well be problems with the USB port. If on the other hand it works and you can read and write data to the player in Removable Disk mode then it is more than likely software. I'd try
) Re-running the Zen V software installation.
2) Reload WMP or if you think this could be the problem then try reverting back to WMP 0 (instructions here http://www.microsoft.com/windows/windowsmedia/player//readme.aspx from the MS site.
3) Open up the task manager (CTRL+ALT+DEL) and check to see if the program CTSYNCU.EXE is running.
4) Try using MSCONFIG.EXE to do a selecti've startup. Another application may be to blame. Check out here http://support.microsoft.com/kb/30560/ for more information on this is

Audiobooks on Creative Zen Touch???????????????

I recently got a Creative Zen Touch 40 gig. The help I request seems both simple and hard. Okay first let me explain that I got the Zen Touch because I wanted to listen to audiobooks. I already had a gig muvo for music files. The Zen was bought because I love audiobooks and I needed something with a larger storage capacity for the audiobooks. Now what I want to do is store both music files and audiobook files on the Zen. The problem is getting the Zen to play the audiobooks in the correct file order.
Please let me explain where I get my audiobooks from before I ask my main question. My audiobook files come from two sources: They are files made by me, from audiobooks I get from the public library where I li've, about 90 percent are ripped from CD's the rest are ones I convert from tapes with my computer. Secondly I get audiobooks from mIRC where I trade with others who like audiobooks. My question is how do I get the Zen to recognize these files? Most of these audiobooks contain anywhere from 28-0 CD's, ripped at 28-60 kbps and I have an audiobook library of over 250 audiobooks, which is why I selected the 40 gig Zen. I name my audiobook mp3 files like this

So it is the naming goes Author ? Title ? CD# - Track#
I know that getting the Zen to play them in order has to do with the id tags, so can anyone recommend a program that can handle the job? Also as a side note how do I get organize the audiobook files on the Zen say for instance if I put 5 Stephen King books on there it looks like all the books are one album when I have put them on using the nomad explorer in their own folders i.e.,

IPhoto 5.0.4 Freezes/Loses Entered Names when Editing Pix

This bug has been annoying the heck out of me lately. After I take a bunch of pictures (100-300), I begin the arduous task of organizing, fine-tuning, naming and cropping them in iPhoto. Many times in the past month, iPhoto locks up and loses all the information I typed and forgets which photos I deleted since I last started it up. This is becoming quite annoying, and I have started to enter in the names of 20-40 photos at a time, then quitting and reopening iPhoto (but that's not an optimal solution).
A few notes:
I have rebuilt all the databases in iPhoto (startup and hold down the 'Option+Command' keys)
I have almost 8,000 photos in my library
The only add-on I'm using is Keyword Assistant (the latest version, which should be compatible with iPhoto 5.0.4)I really hope this program is not the cause of my woes, because I absolutely hate having to go to my mouse to assign keywords to photos!
My next troubleshooting step is to remove Keyword Assistant, but I am wondering if anyone knows of any other solutions to this problem or if anyone else is even having this problem. It seems only to happen after I've entered in a name for a picture and clicked the next button (or pressed 'Command+right arrow') while in the 'Edit' mode.

Haven't seen this particular problem come up before. Is the crashing occurring during the cropping and editing or while you're changing names?
What comes to mind first is to repair disk permissions with Disk Utility and then manually set the permissions on the iPhoto Library folder:
Setting Permissions for iPhoto Library Folder
1 - Select the iPhoto Library folder and type Command-I.
2 - When the Info window comes up go to the Ownership and Permissions section and make sure You have Read & Write permission and that the Owner and Group have Read & Write also. Others - Read Only.
3 - Then click on the "Apply to enclosed items..." button.
Also make sure you have plenty of free space on your HD.
There is a new version of Keyword Assistant out that fixed the earlier incompatibility with iPhoto 5. Be sure you have the latest version.

Freeze lose of interface control

Hello
This problem only started to happen about 2 weeks ago,
I will be playing a song and my IPod will freeze up, the interface will be come unresponsive, and I will be unable to do anything.
My only option is to leave it running until the batteries run out and it turns its self off, then recharge and reboot, it works for a while longer then freezes up and does the exact same thing again.
I have upgraded the firmware
I could not find the page on your support site for returns anyone know where that is?
Does anyone have a solution to my problem?

If you can use the HTTP adapter (sending XML files over HTTP), XI will handle this correctly.
There is only 1 page where you can submit XML files over HTTP. All files are placed directly into the XI queue. You have to setup 15 different receiver determinations, so no BPM is needed at all.

Lose of license to use quickoffice on my e63

jeff here,i'm using a nokia e63. I updated my quickoffice from the original version(the one that comes with the handset)to quickoffice premier 6. After some duration,somebody accidentally deleted the quickoffice license,so everytime i try using the app.,it tells me i don't have the license to use it. It then prompts me to purchase the license to which i have tried in vain.
Somebody help,i have alot of documents hanging,.....___________________

I continue to lose audiobooks

I'm not sure why but Audiobooks seems to be a problem for iCloud, iTunes my iPhone, my iPad & my Mountain Lion OS X in general. It doesn't mater where I purchase audiobooks? I just purchased "A Storm of Swords" Book 3 of "A Song of Ice & Fire" in iTunes. I have already purchases "A Game of Thrones" and " A Clash of Kings" from iTunes either on my compter, my iPhone or my iPad. They don't show up anywhere in iTunes? I searched my computer and found "A Game of Thrones" Book I. but only Parts 2, 3 & 4.-, which I clicked on each one and they were added to my iTunes Library and uploaded to my iPhone when I connected it (good). But Part 1 is still missing (and possibly Part 5 & 6?). Also I have purchased all the "Hunger Games" books, 1, 2 & 3 from iTunes and can't find those. Audiobooks have always been hard to find and now not findable? HELP ME FIND THEM

IPod nano loses audiobooks

I use my Nano mostly for audiobooks, but I also have music on it. Occasionally now the all the audiobooks disappear form the Nano - they aren't listed. The playlists and music are not affected - only the audiobooks. This has happened 4-5 times in the past 3 months. I have to reconnect the ipod and sync with iTunes. Then it all works fine. Any ideas on why this might be happening?

It sounds like your nano is corrupted. Have you tried doing a restore on your nano using the ipod utility program? My audiobooks work fine, so hopefully a restore will work.

Ipad mini freezes, loses wifi connectivity and loses touch response since IOS8. Reset has cured NOTHING.

IS it true all these issues will not be fixed till the 20th?? My ipad2 wont work at all! This is a disaster like nothing i have encountered before and it has cost me dearly in lost business.

Not sure where you got that information but not everyone is having issues with Wi-Fi on iOS 8. Mine is working fine.
You mentioned a reset. Which one did you try that didn't work?
Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings
You may have to re enter your Wi-Fi password.
