Freeze on mac
If I try to load any asset to the library or I try to draw a rectangle, Edge freezes. No way to close the software. What can I do?
I'm new to Adobe CC

Well then thats it ... I have a myriad of problems....

I can use Adobe Edge on a Windows PC. Hope, Adobe or Apple can fix this soon.
I will send every Error Report to apple until they fix the problem
If someone fixed the problem, I am glassful to hear about the solution.

When I start up Bridge CC I get a error message instructing me to purge cache in preferences which I do but it doesn't work and freezes my mac. I cannot curretnly use Bridge CC. PLease help as this is costing me time and money - thank you in advance....
Hold down the Option key as you launch Bridge, keep it down until you see a dialog box, then click all three options in the re-set box that comes up.
If you don't see that re-set box, you're doing it wrong, i.e., you're not holding the Option key down fast enough. -

I have uninstalled and reinstalled both PS & Bridge.
Trashed preferences
Deleted preview icons
reset Bridge
Run ONYX
repaired permissions several times
All to no avail

cursor freezes on mac osx 10.8.5 have to re-launch finder to regain control, using wireless mouse.
This happens at various times but more noticable after wakeup.
Any ideas?When you next have the problem, note the exact time: hour, minute, second.

I have a late 2008 unibody MacBook running at 2GHz with 4 GB of memory. OSX 10.9.5.
My problem is, every time I open iTunes 12.1.2, I get the spinning colorwheel before I can even click on anything. It freezes my mac to the point where no force quit commands work, and I have to manually reboot it. When restarting, I get a message that pops up "Your computer restarted because of a problem." I have found no solutions to this problem, and all other discussions I've found differ slightly from my issue. Help!!!These instructions must be carried out as an administrator. Step 1
For this step, the title of the Console window should be All Messages. If it isn't, select

In the top right corner of the Console window, there's a search box labeled Filter. Initially the words "String Matching" are shown in that box. Enter "BOOT_TIME" (without the quotes.)
Each message in the log begins with the date and time when it was entered. Select the BOOT_TIME log message that corresponds to the last boot time when you had the problem. Now clear the search box to reveal all messages. Select the ones logged before the boot, during the time something abnormal was happening. Copy them to the Clipboard by pressing the key combination command-C. Paste into a reply to this message by pressing command-V.
For example, if the system was unresponsive or was failing to shut down for three minutes before you forced a restart, post the messages timestamped within three minutes before the boot time, not after. Please include the BOOT_TIME message at the end of the log extract—not at the beginning.
If there are long runs of repeated messages, please post only one example of each. Don’t post many repetitions of the same message.

Step 2
In the Console window, select
DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION ▹ System Diagnostic Reports
(not Diagnostic and Usage Messages) from the log list on the left. If you don't see that list, select
View ▹ Show Log List
from the menu bar.
There is a disclosure triangle to the left of the list item. If the triangle is pointing to the right, click it so that it points down. You'll see a list of reports. A crash report has a name that begins with the name of the crashed process and ends in ".crash". A panic report has a name that begins with "Kernel" and ends in ".panic". A shutdown stall report has a name that ends in ".shutdownstall". Select the most recent of each, if any. The contents of the report will appear on the right. Use copy and paste to post the entire contents—the text, not a screenshot. It's possible that none of these reports exists.
I know the report is long, maybe several hundred lines. Please post all of it anyway.
If you don't see any reports listed, but you know there was a crash or panic, you may have chosen Diagnostic and Usage Messages from the log list. Choose DIAGNOSTIC AND USAGE INFORMATION instead.
In the interest of privacy, I suggest that, before posting, you edit out the “Anonymous UUID,” a long string of letters, numbers, and dashes in the header of the report, if it’s present (it may not be.)
Please don’t post other kinds of diagnostic report—they're very long and rarely helpful.
When you post the log extract or the crash report, you might see an error message on the web page: "You have included content in your post that is not permitted," or "The message contains invalid characters." That's a bug in the forum software. Please post the text on Pastebin, then post a link here to the page you created. -
Help! DVI to VGA Adapter freeze mein Mac
Hallo, ich have yesterday bought a DVI to VGA Adapter. I connect my Macbookpro 15 to my PC Monitor a NOKIA 446Xpro Multigraph.
Everything looks fine, but when everytime my Mac goes to sleep mode and back to activ again it said no Signal and my Mac Freeze. Everything just don´t move.. Everytime this happen i have to test the Harddisc and repair it.
It´s happen only when i connect my Nokia Monitor. Could someone help me what i should do? Is there some Software for my Monitor?

The topic has mostly become quiet since 10.5.1 because that seems to have fixed most people's issue. But I see you are already running 10.5.1 so that is not helping in your case apparently. You might try reading the above thread backwards from the most recent posts to see if you get any other ideas for a fix. Good luck. -
ITunes Freezes my Mac Mini - Power Cycle Required
Hi,
If I leave my Mac unattended for long periods of time with iTunes open (whether playing music (it helps negate my tinitus) or not), my machine becomes completely frozen and needs to be powered down. If I leave it without iTunes open, it does not freeze.
So I'm depserately looking for a solution. I've tried repairing the permissions, re-installing iTunes, removing screensavers and changing my power settings but nothing seems to have made a difference. There are no logs reporting problems either.
Does anybody have any idea what I can do to remedy this? There are no other problems with my computer (none that I am aware of).
Most of my music is on an external USB drive (MP3 brought over from Windows) and the rest is on my main personal folder. I have about 20Gb free on my main system drive.
Thanks in advanceI think the newest iTunes is a bit buggy. I have those complete system freezes if I start some movies one after another for testing purposes. All goes well unti film 3 or 4 and then the whole MBP stalls. Only help - reboot.
Another thing: every movie or TV show stalls after a certain time for some moments and jumps forward some seconds. After that stall, all runs OK, only some seconds later a short stuttering is noticeable.
I have a very large audio library on a external drive as primary drive. I leave the movies on another external drive w(o copying to the primary drive. So I just think, iTunes is stretched to its limit and has memory problems. The iPod classic 160 had those in the first weeks after its appearance, too. Lots of people with large libraries exchanged their iPods w/o effect. I was patient and now at least that works fine.

Flash Player freezing my Mac pro 2009
Hi all, has anyone been experiencing a complete freeze of their Mac pros after using Safari or FireFox for a few days?
I have a early 2009 Mac Pro 2.66 Ghz Quad Core which Im running Maverick 10.9.4 and the latest Flash Player update but still after a few days using safari and Firefox
my Mac freezes completely and I have to do hard reboot. According to Adobe the last Flash update was to solve this problem with earlier Macs.
Has anyone else been experiencing similar problems?If you're sure you've installed the latest version of Flash, take each of the following steps that you haven't already tried. After each step, relaunch Safari and test. For a "missing plug-in" error, start with Step 4.
1. If you're getting a "blocked plug-in" error, then from the menu bar select
▹ System Preferences… ▹ Flash Player ▹ Advanced
and click Check Now. Quit and relaunch your browser.
2. Triple-click the line below to select it:
/Library/Internet Plug-Ins
Right-click or control-click the highlighted text and select

Ever since I upgraded from Flash MX 2004 Professional to
Flash Professional 8 on my PowerMac G5 it doesn't run. All I can do

button, whatever, like changing the size it freezes instantly. I've

can solve my problem but it seems like I'm alone with this, I can't
find any information anywhere. I've even tried to un-install and

Photoshop CS6 freezing on Mac OS 10.6.8
Hi one of our Macs (OS 10.6.8) is freezing when we try using Marquee Selection or Feathering or Cut and Pasting in a PSD file using Photoshop CS6. Basically we have to hard reboot the Mac as we get no error message, just a locked up computer. All the other Macs are exactly the same but don't have this issue.
The file has no fonts in it, it is just an image with Layers that have no Effects. File size is 900MB.
All updates for both CS6 and Mac OS have been run and all is up to date.
Please advise.Here are the base specs (serial info deleted). We're running the file off the hard drive and there are no additonal plugins. We use a standard font library but as I said, file has no text/fonts in it. It's completely locking up while using the marquee selection tool.
Cleared user preferences too when starting PS.
Gonna try a fresh reinstall and see if that fixes it, if it doesn't I think there is something wrong with the Mac itself because we have 6 more identical machines and they are not having this issue.

WRT54G freezes when mac connects with airport card
I'm using WRT54G, i have plugged to it 3 things; cable modem, a PC desktop and a mac desktop. that all works great. When I connect via my mac laptop the router freezes, sometimes. i've been tracking it and there is no consistency of how long until it freezes or what seems to make it freeze. but it always freezes at some point. and when it does all the computers internet goes down until I restart the router. Any ideas what is happening? I appreciate your help!

I created a new user, just to test. It is working normally when I'm logged in as nwe user.
Any ideas how to fix it? Some kind of user profile reset?

If it doesn't happen in a test account, that's good news. It means the issue is limited to your user.
Log back into your normal user account:
Here's the whole litany for thoroughly checking your home folder.
1. Navigate to ~(YourHome/Library/Fonts - drag this folder to the desktop.
• Restart and test your applications.
• If they work start adding the fonts back few at a time.
( Likely suspects are Times RO & Helvetica Fractions, also if you do not use Classic you can trash the classic fonts.)
2. Check Preferences Thoroughly;
• Navigate to ~(YourHome/Library/Preferences drag this folder to the desktop.
• Restart and test your applications.
• If this works, save the old preferences folder somewhere else or on disk, name it "old prefs" .
** Note: A very important file is the "com.apple.Mail.plist" preference file located in the Preferences folder which contains all email account settings and general mail preferences (hold this one and replace if your problem is not with Mail).
You'll have to go through some of your System Preferences and apps to set the preferences back to how you like them. (Or if you have the time and inclination, "cherry pick" through until you find the problem one or two.)
3. Check Permissions Inside Home Folder
• Navigate to YourHome/Library.
• Get Info (Command - i) on folders for apps you are having problems with.
• Open the "Ownership & permissions" disclosure triangle.
• Make sure you are the owner, with "read and write" access.
• Click on "apply to all"
• If this is correct, open the "Applications Support" folder and do the same procedure (Command+I) for the folders with the names of the applications you are having trouble with.
Note:
The reason to check this is because repairing permissions with Disk Utility doesn't touch permissions inside your home folder.
4. Navigate to YourHome/Library/Caches and drag this folder to the trash, then log out and back or restart. There is no need to replace this folder.

I am using a dual monitor setup on Snow Leopard, one of which is connected throught a Lenovo Display Link Port Replicator. This monitor often freezes on startup, but the other monitor continues working.
Perhaps I need to update my drivers: I tried enterting the model number (K33415) into the website, but it wouldn't accept it
Does this device support Mac?Hi casebash! The K33415 is actually an OEM Kensington dock. On its support page there is a beta Mac driver. You might want to try it... no guarantees as this is seriously "off script". I have no experience with this myself. Come back and tell us how you do.

Editing Canon Raw Files in Iphoto
Hello everybody, I normally take pictures in RAW with Canon Eos 5d mark 3. My iphoto 9.6 on Yosemite. Before the Update everything was working properly. Now It's impossible to edit my pictures. When I try to edit a picture, this become almost green.
