Freezing and breaking up of picture and sound on Y...
Any help greatly appreciated. When playing back recordings the picture often feezes! Have the same problem with iplayers too, but far greater as the picture breaks up and the sound also. Funnily enough the commercial ads during the programmes are fine!!! I have checked for systems updates and downloaded. All pulgs and sockets are ok and have switched everything of at the mains and back on a again. Still no joy. Gave up trying to watch a film on Netflix yesterday as it froze five times. Cannot watch catch-up on demand 5 as the pictures goes completely bonkers. Pixels all over the place and stuttering sound. Help please?

The picture in the gallery is correct. The picture you are looking at before you capture it is a mirror image such as you are used to looking at, otherwise you would not be able to handle it. Look at More Like This >>>>>>>

You were already provided the answer. If you do not have a backup of the phone while the photos were on the phone, they are gone. When you restore your phone from an old backup, anything that has been saved to the phone since that backup is deleted. Sorry.

If the device has been used as designed, contacts would be synced to a supported application on the computer or a cloud service and pictures taken with the device would be regularly copied off to a computer.
Failure to use the device as designed is not smart. -

I backed up my iphone and now the pictures and contacts are gone and will not reload back onto phone.
Connect it to your computer. Launch iTunes. Click on the phone's name. Click "Restore from backup".

I restored my itouch and lost all my pictures and contacts. Any fix?
Earlier today I plugged my ipod into my laptop as uaual to let it syc. I later realized that there was music that I wanted to take off of it. I did that and unplugged my itouch and it said I needed to connectg to itunes and restore my itouch so i did. AFter it was done I realized that I had my apps and music through itunes but I had lost my contacts, pictures and videos. I had so many memories and wallpapers and important contacts saved! Is there any way to get them back?
If you restore from backup you should get back your contacts up to the time the backup was made. The same for photos and video if they ere directly imported to the iPod like saved photos or videos and pictures taken with the 4G's camera. If the videos and photos were synced to the iPod they should be on you computer, they are not included in the backup.

I have an iPhone 4. I unplugged my phone during an update and have lost all pictures, text messages and videos from the last year. Is there any way to restore from a certain date to recover them?

so yesterday i updated to ios 8.0.2 and i lost all of my pictures and notes and whatnot and i dont think i have them saved on my icloud or anything , the pictures and notes were really important to me but i have no idea how to get them back . can someone please help me ?
Well, if you updated to 8.2, then you are living in a different world than the rest of us. 8.1 was just released on Monday.
Do you not have an iCloud or iTunes backup that you can restore to? Have you not been importing your photos to a photo library on your computer?
Maybe you could start from the beginning and we can see if we can help. If you had to restore your device, and you have absolutely no backups, then, I'm afraid you are out of luck. However, if you have backups, or if you have been importing your photos on a regular basis, then probably most of your stuff can be recovered.

I downloaded IOS 5??? yesterday and synced, last night when I went to look at photos and videos they were all gone. How do I get them back? I noticed all my pictures from my computer were now on I pad but nothing that was originally on I pad, everything gone. Could this be on my computer some where?

JanDemo is right. If you have a backup/synced with your PC you might be lucky finding a previous backup? You can just restore your iPhone to get your photos & videos back. Simply sync your iPhone via iTunes to transfer the files back to your device. Alternatively, you can also use iPhone Backup Extractor to extract the media files off to your computer (assuming you have a backup of the files you are referring to).

I mean I have taken it almost bare and stripped a lot of pictures off but I never, ever had an issue like this. Bad enough it won't even let me get all my music on!
What gives? I gotta pony up $20 to get all my stuff back to how it was?

All the pics I take on my phone are showing up on my ipad and all the appsi download on my phone are showing up on my ipad I don't like this since my ipad is for work and school and the pics and apps take up memory I don't have to spare and am annoyed that I have to keep deleting stuff I'm afraid to delete my pics because I am afraid it will also be deleted from my phone can someone help me with this please !!!!!!!
If you currently have Settings > iTunes & App Store > Apps (under 'automatic downloads') set 'on' on your iPad then turn that 'off'. For the photos, do you currently have Settings > iCloud > Photos > My Photo Stream set 'on' on your iPad ?

This upgrade caused me to lose all contacts, texts, and most importantly, my photos. Backup seemed to have not been performed by iTunes prior to upgrade. How can I restore any of this?

Yes, everything is lost if you did not have a backup but if yout want to make your phone work again you need to put it into DFU restore mode. Hopefully it was just a software issue and your phone will still work
1. plug it into itunes
2. Hold the home button and the sleep/wake button on top until it goes black
3. release the sleep/wake button and hold the home button until you see a notification in itunes that says "itunes has discovered a phone in recovery mode"
4. Hit restore or download and update. -

I see there were several missteps both by the reps and yourself in your post. First you should have insisted on returning the phone within the 14 day return policy period. Second which Samsung Galaxy mini model did you purchase? The S3 mini or the S4 mini? Did you do any research prior to deciding on this device. The reps at that time deflected the easiest course of action, by trying to get you to replace the phone under insurance instead of returning the phone. The Early Edge payment option requires the current phone on the line using the early Edge must be returned to Verizon Wireless. Did you once considered going to a third party site like Swappa to purchase a gently used device for your daughter? -
I had recenly bought 1200D camera and i am new to DSLR camera. Recently i had used camera in beach side and now find some vapours in lens and camera window. It does not take pics in AF mode and shows busy message. It takes pics which are blurr in MF mode.
