Freight Header with Access sequence only to apply on the header.

Hi Colleagues,
I have a requirment to make Freight to be maintained as the Header condition.
This should not apply in the item at all.
In the standard SAP, the Header condition is always to be maintained manullay and can not be controlled through the access sequence(condition records)
What are the other ways that we can have this working.

There is no way in SAP to have the pricing only at header but not distributed to line item, even the pricing entered at the header gets distributed to each line item. Any price mentioned at the header has to be distributed to line item to calculate profitiability at the line item and in case of billing of the documents, unless the amount is appropriated to each line item, system cannot calculate correct billing amount in case of split of order into multiple billing document.
I am not sure of your exact requirement but if you are looking to charge the flat amount on each document, you could do so by using group condition.
Create a condition type with the following parameters:
Calculation type = B
Group Condition = Active
Group Condition Routine = 01.
Assign an access sequence which contain the access fields from the header of the doucmnet so that condition type is captured at each line item with the same condition record number. Since all the line item will belong to common group and will have same condition record number whcih is fetched at each line item, system will apply only the amount mentioned in the condition record in the document. i.e. If condition record specificies 50$ as the amount, a total of 50$ will be applied on the doucment and will be distributed to each line item based on the value of each line item.
In case the above solution does not meet your criteria or fits your situation.. please elaborate on the exact business scenario / requirement.

I have created new conditon table for shipping point and storage location
Created new access sequence , with this new condition table as the 1st sequence - the others being Sales org/ Customer and then Shipping point.
Applied this Access sequence to Output type
I created condition record against 1st access sequence, Shipping point and storage location
Yet when I created Stock Transport Order and subsequent delivery for this STO.
The first access sequence against Shipping point and Storage location was not found
The fields used against shipping point and storage location in my access sequence are as follows:-
VSTEL KOMKBV2 VSTEL
LGORT KOMPBV2 LGORT
I also tried with a condition for shipping point and material , but this was not found either
Any ideas ?

HI
checked the config and the delivery type is assigned to output determination procedure for shipping output.
we have two outputs for deliveries, one for delivery schedule note and the other for despatch note, once PGI has been done.
Delivery schedule note is first in the determination procedure so delivery type NL replenishment delivery is assigned to the first output in this procedure
is something amiss here ??

Problem with access sequence display in pricing Analysis:

We have a situation that seems to occur for a specific customer/material combination where there are missing key combinations in the pricing analysis screen. In some instances, we will have 10 key combination for a condition type, but only the first 2 and the last 2 will be included, or in some cases, only the last 3 are shown.
For ex. In the configuration ,Access sequence of the condition type ZXYZ , has 14 key combinations. But in the pricing analysis system shows only last 3 key combinations even though condition record is maintained for the first key combination.
I want to understand why system is not showing all the key combinations in the pricing analysis and what is solution to resolve this problem?
Looking forward or your valuable inputs.

Problem with access sequence

Hi guys,
We have a typical problem. When i verify a condition type 'A' through MM path, MM-->purchasing >conditions->define price determination process -->define condition types,the accesss sequence shown for the condition type is 'X'. But when i go through the condition type through FI path, Financial Accointing --->Global settings -->Tax on sales and purchase -->Basic settings --> check calculation procedure it is showing the access sequence for the same condition type as 'Y'.
Why is it happening like this? Is it a standard thing? When we use this condition type, which access sequence we should use for maintaining the condition record?

Hi Chintu,
1. The condition that you see in MM customisation is purchasing side Pricing Condition.
2. While the one you see in FI customisation is for Taxation Sale and Purchase.
Both of the above have different pricing schemas.
Incidentally you have a condition type with same name defined in both of them. Hence the access sequence which has to be picked will depend on whether the condition is used in Tax Procidure or Purchasing Pricing Procedure.
So depending on your use of Condition type maintain the respective access sequence.

Help required with Access Sequence for 'Delivery output' of Scheduling note

Dear Gurus
I need help with creation of an Access Sequence.
I have created an access sequence for sales org and customer, where the communication is emailed or faxed to the CR party- Forwarding agent.
BUT - some customers have more than 1 forwarding agent in their masterdata, and not all forwarding agents are wanting to receive fax/email, so if a condition record exists it will always try to send via the method set up against the customer.
I need to create an access sequence which looks at the customer/ Forwarding agent combination, - I have created new condition tables and Access sequences to include Vendor, - but when i create delivery notes, - this is not working, - it is not recognising the access sequence at all, the vendor party/haulier is not being recognised at all- I keep getting access not made, Initialised field'
Please advise how i can get the customer/Forwarding agent scenario to work

Hi Tony,
The field SPDNR can not be entered directly in the feild catalog list.
First it has to be included in the list through inculde or user exit......
SPRO->Sales and Distribution>System Modifications->Create New Fields (Using Condition Technique)-->New Fields For Output Control---> Use INCLUDE for new fields in Dictionary (messages) or Use user exit for new fields (messages)
You ask your ABAP consultant to do this then it will be available in the field catalog list then u can select in the condition table then into access sequence and so on...

Can Access DRM encryption be applied on the fly?

Can Access DRM-Core and Access DRM-Pro encryption be applied to a video file "on the fly" for RTMP? (I'm not interested here in Access Protected Streaming)
How about for HDS?
How about for HLS?
By "on the fly", I mean at the time the request was made from the client and as a prelude to the response from the media server. This would allow us to avoid creating and storing an Access encrypted representation of the video in advance.

There are a couple ways to generate just the "DRM Headers" without having to encrypt the whole file.
1. If you're an Adobe Broadcast Licensee, with access to our Broadcast SDK (HDKb), there are APIs in there to just generate the DRM Metadata.
2. If you have a recent version of AMS, the f4fpackager tool that comes with the product has had a recent revision where you can update an existing F4M (manifest) file to include a new DRM Metadata, which is created on the fly. I'm not sure if this new f4fpackager tool has been released yet in the latest AMS, however.
Besides those routes, the only other way to create a DRM Metadata would be to package an entire video.

- You do have the volume set all the way up?
- Have you tried another pair of headphones/do the headphone work in other devices?
- Try cleaning out/blowing out the headphone jack. Try inserting/removing the headphone plug a dozen times or so.

Access Sequence Field not recognized in the Account Determination

Hi All,
we have created a new table for the account determination access sequence we are using as default.
the new table contains the field MVGR2 (VBAP) which we added to the KOMPCV structure as ZZMVGR2.
this goes fine in the sales order, however this is no longer recognized during billing. the field has no value in the Account determination analysis, hence there is no GL account determined for that.
can anyone help?

My guess is: you will have to modify the copy control routine, and populate the value of the new field accordingly.
This routine needs to be assigned to the item category in copy control configuration (VTFL).
Needless to say, the existing routine should be copied and then modified.

Open with explorer issue only in one of the web application.

getting error message as when we click on open with explorer :

Free goods are not determining access sequence like......

What could be the reason free goods determination is not happening with access sequence like sales orgPlantmateril. At the same time freee goods are determiing at customerMaterial level. I have generated new access sequnece like sales orgPlant+material and assinged and configured properly. Also maintained condtion record accordingly. Is there any programme error or need to apply any SAP note in this regard.

I presume you visit the US music Store. As far as I know that Music Store is the only one to offer free songs. The CC information is needed to verify you're in the US of A.
I for example can't buy from other Stores than the Dutch one.
The deal with the record companies/right holders don't allow cross-border sales. The same is true for free songs (I can't get them).
That's why they need the CC information.

Define Access Sequences For Determining Texts
In this IMG activity, you define the access sequences which the SAP System uses to determine the texts for a text object.
Afterwards, you specify an access sequence for the text search in the determination procedure for every text type.
You only define access sequences for sales and distribution documents, not for customer master records.
With an access sequence, you define the sequence and the requirements of the search used by the SAP System to find a text.
This allows you, for example, to have the system check whether a text exists in the customer language. If this is not the case, then a text in the sales organisation language can be searched for. If this is also unsuccessful, you can have the system carry out the search using English as the fixed value.
To do this, you make the following specifications for every access sequence:
acc. no (access number)
With the access number, you define the sequence in which the text objects of an access sequence should be read. The element with the lowest access number is read first. If an appropriate text is found, the search is ended. Otherwise, the SAP System checks the element with the next number up.
Text object
Here, you define which text objects should be checked by the SAP System for an access sequence.
In the standard SAP R/3 System, for example, in the access sequence 0001 for the text object sales document header is defined, that the SAP System first searches for a form header text in the preceding document (text object VBBK) and afterwards for a sales note in the customer master record (text object KNVV).
ID (text type)
Here, you define which text type is to be read from the specified text object.
It is recommended to select the same text type for the text to be copied. For example, the text for the form header in the customer master record (text type 0001) should be copied into the text for form header of a sales document (text type 0001).

configuring Access Sequence during Partner processing, is not displaying description for access sequence when trying to maintain Individual Accesses (its showing only the access sequence 4 digit code). Its an IDES system.
All pre-existing Z Access sequences are getting displayed with description. but not so when creating new one by me.

Several possibilities:
1> Did you already activate your implementation ZCOM_PARTNER_BADI?
2> In the Access Sequence you need to define the source COM_PARTNER_X, as this is Business Add-in 1 and assign the details for the source.
3> Make sure you assign the access sequence to a partner function in your partner determination profile (IMG: Define Partner Determination Profile) which is assigned to the transaction type.
Then when setting a breakpoint in the Badi it should be called when creating the respective transaction type.

Requirements is a set of rules/ formula, which has to met before the access is used.
Requirements in access sequence is used to reduce the time taken for retrival of data.
Eg.
If the access is applicable only for export business, requirement 8 can be used. This requirement checks whether the order is export business. If yes then access is used, if no the system goes to next access.

Hi,
Now if your multiple condition types are getting satisfied by a single table, then it's up to you can have that table in a single access sequence or multiple. Ideally it should be through a single access sequence only.
As stated earlier also, its completely depends on the criteria need to satisfy condition as per your requirement. B'coz there are possibilities where a single condition can be triggered on different criterias, in that case it will required multiple tables. In such scenarios single table may exist in different Access sequences.
Best way if u are still not satisfied with the response to your query, If I would have been at your case, I would have learned by trail and error.. it will hardly takes time of 1 two 2 hour for creating new access sequences and test the scenario.
It's quite possible that words some times don't clear your doubts but when you will try with our guidelines on the system it will surely clear your doubts more appropriately.
