Freight in Delivery

Hi Experts
The client reqt is to add Freight charges and pallet charges in delivery document not in Sales order.
How these values will pass onto Invoice document.
Will i have to maintain in Delivery  the condition types same that iam maintaining in Sales order?
Regards
Steph

Hello,
You will have to assign Pricing Procedure to your Delivery just like we do in Sales Order.
You can insert all the Conditions in the Sales Order Pricing Procedure itself & for Delivery Conditions Types, have relevant Accenss Sequence.
You may also use different Pricing Procedure which will have only Freight Conditions.
Access the above here:
IMG - Logistics Execution - Shipping - Basic Shipping Functions - Pricing.
Now, Incase you use seperate Pricing Procedure in Delivery then in Invoice have a Pricing Procecure which have all the Sales orer + Delivery Conditions types & in copy Controls (VTFL) For your Item Category maintain Price Source as E - Delivery/order.
Hope this helps,
Thanks,

  • Freight in delivery level

    Hello Gurus,
This is regarding freight, for one of our Clients-The freight is fixed for a container for the given period and hence manually entered as header condition in Sales order. Hence the Same is freight value is proportionately distributed  based on the line item value i.e. quantity* rate. However, for them they have a set of buyers whose order is for more than one container and accordingly freight value multiply by no of containers is entered in header condition. Now when the partial delivery is done from such order the freight component it picks is not the same as freight per container as it picks the line item wise apportioned value. Due to this two different freight bills show different freight amount for the same buyer which is the basic problem.
Any suggestions please from your side, its urgent.
    Regards,
    Raj.

    Hello Laxmipathi,
The requirement i would put it again, my client charges freight on the basis of containers/shipments not on the basis of the quantities i.e. the header level, manual entry for one container (rate per container per period is fixed) for freight should be identified by the system not the item level.i would give one example for this.
if the freight for one container is 200$, if there are two shipments the freight should be 400$. that is ok. but here the problem is depending on the quantitites in the item level in the billing the freight is getting apportioned say for one container it shows 180$ and for one it is showing 220$. This is not satisfying his requirement and although the total freight is ok, the per shipment freight is deviating-220 and 180$ respectively. This should not happend and the system should pick only the per shipment freight. Hope i am clear now.
Can you suggest some solutions for this scenario?
    Regards,
    Raj.

  • Freight on Delivery

    Hi,
Appreciate your help on the below issue.
We have a freight pricing procedure with XS80 condition type, with Cond Class 'A', Calc Type 'B', Cond Cat 'F' it is also defined as Header Condition and is activated for IntComp Bill Cond.
When i add the freight in the delivery at header, Ex : Add freight as $ 12, if there are 1 line item, 2 schedule lines, the freight value is calculated as $ 36.
I need to get the freight as $12 which is entered.
Appreciate if you could please help me on this, also tried the same with Standard condition type HD00 but it didn't work.
    Thanks,
    Keshini

Check in V/06, for the condition type, the group condition field is checked or not. You need to check this and test.

  • Service PO with Freight Cost

    Hi Experts,
Please let me know the possible solution for the below scenario:
We have created a Service PO (no service master data), service cost per qty is 5000 and freight cost is Rs. 500 (entered in the condition type).
Ex. Sending a Roll for clean and coating to the service vendor.
Once we received the serviced material we accept it in ML81M. Here the problem is only Service cost will come when service entry sheet accepted, could let me know how to arrive the freight cost also at service acceptance or any other method to do the same.
    YJ

    Hi,
this is not possible, you have to create separate line item for same,
    check foolwoing SAP Note:
    Hi,
Delivery cost not suppostr in service entree sheet
SAP Note 381030 - Delivery costs in service
    Symptom
When you reset the acceptance of services performed and when you reverse invoices for service orders, the delivery costs are not posted back 1:1.
    Other terms
ML81N, reversal, freight, freight costs, delivery costs, service.
    Solution
Delivery costs are generally not supported in external services management and in case of blanket purchase orders, item category D or B. Instead of representing delivery costs via conditions, in case of service documents, freight costs and other, SAP recommends to add in additional service lines.

    Hi,
Our client wants the delivery costs (Freight/ Octroi/ Delivery Charges.etc) to be loaded on material. But mean time they want system to calculate taxes on net value of the PO, not on Material value plus delivery costs.
Request to guide me to map this requirement.
    Appreciate your valuable suggestions.
    Thanks & Regards

  • Freight calculate on Base+Packing+Excise+Freigt

    Hello SAP,
We have one scenario in MM pricing procedure.
    Base Value + Packing Forward + Excise(10.3) = Subtotal
    Subtotal + Freight = Total
    Total1 + CST(12.5%) = Total2
    Total2 + Octroi = Total 3
    Total3 + LBT
    Example:
    Base Value 100
    Packing Freight 1%
    Excise(10.3%) on 101 10.30
    Freight (Value or %) on 111.40 10
    Total 121.40 + CST(12.5%) 136.58
    Total 136.58 + 5% Octroi 143.44
    Total 143.44 + LBT 2% 146.28
How to map in SAP Pricing procedure.
Please suggest if any configure step by step.
    Thanks
    Shital

for P & F use packing condiiton category, condition class surcharge or discount
base the percentage condiiton on the gross price condition
for freight use freight or delivery type ,  surcharge or discount.
    use 6 in subtotals
bring the taxes from the tax procedure using conditon jexs as statistical entry
calculate the nett value and base the octroi condition on that step
bring the value of octroi to the material using account key and accrue into octroi account using accrual key
add it for total in procedure, make the total statistical and base the other tax on it similar to octroi

  • Freight in Service PO

  • Entering delivery costs in stock transfer order

I am entering delivery costs via a condition type in a stock transfer order. When I am doing MIGO, AUM key gets invoked which is a price difference key. How do I enter delivery costs in a sto order without the aum key getting invoked because really freight or delivery charges should not be hitting the price difference account
    thanks

    Understood why system does that

    please refer below
    Output Determination Procedure
Output is a form of media from business to one of its business partners. The output can be sent to any of the partners defined in the document. Outputs are usually in the form of Order Confirmations, Freight List, Delivery Notes, Invoices & Shipping Notifications. Determining form of output is output determination
Types of Output: Print Output, Fax, Telex, E-Mail & EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)
    PRINT OUTPUT:
SPRO- IMG- Basic Functions- Output Control- Output Determination- Output Det using Cond Tech- Output Det for Sales Documents & output determination for billing documents.
Create Condition Table: select the field Sales Doc Type from field catalog & Save
Maintain Access Sequence: 4-digits code & description. Assign condition table to access sequence. Select Accesses line item and Goto Fields. Fields will display the fields we have selected in the condition table i.e. sales doc type.
Select BA00 & Copy & Rename. Give the same 4-digit code as given to acc seq.
    You Can Maintain:
    Languages of Output
Partners (to whom we want to send output)
    Print Program- print specification
    Sap Script- layout
Assign Output Types to Partner Functions: go to new entries & assign your output type to partner functions.
Maintain Output Determination Procedure: V10000 (Standard Procedure). Go to new entries & create your own 6-digit code with descp. Select the procedure & go to Control Data. Here mention the output type i.e. cond type & leave requirement and manual only columns as blank.
Determination Rule: link the 6-digit procedure code to doc types.
Create Condition Records: VV11. Select document type and click on Communication. Mention partner function, medium, time. Output device: LP01, Spool request Name: SD_003, Suffix 2: order_confir & flag on print immediately.
Once you press enter you will come across 2 key combinations:
    Sales organization/ Customer Number: fill SO, Customer No, Partner Function Abbreviation, Partner to whom the output should be sent, time, medium, language. {It contains: Sales Orgn, Customer, Partner Function (The abbreviated form of the name that identifies the Partner) (During output determination, the system determines the recipient of the output from the master record for the specified partner function. In this field, you can explicitly specify a recipient that will override the standard partner. There must also be a master record for the partner that is specified explicitly.), Medium, Time & Language.}
Order Type: Document Type, Partner Function (abbreviation), Partner, Medium, Time & Language.
In SAP we can send the documents to respective partner functions through different transmission mediums. SAP uses condition technique to determine output t relevant partners with relevant transmission mediums.
Out put determination procedure has a integration with technical module, as ABAPer’s  has to write SMART forms and FORMS to print the output , that SMART form output can be send to relevant partner function through relevant transmission mediums.
Out put determination procedure for order confirmation: (V/57)
    a) Maintain condition table:
    Path:
    IMG
    SD
    Basic functions
    Output control
    Output determination
Output determination using the condition technique
Maintain out put determination from for sales document

    General data tab:
    Access sequence: 0010(order type)
In IMG define access sequence and assign to the output type
    Check access to conditions:
This indicator allows the system to read the condition records for output. If it is not been activated then system determines out put from customer master ex: By following out put determination procedure “DB0001”
    Check cannot be changed:
This control specifies whether the out put can be changed or not
Ex: direct mailings can be changed during processing
    Check multiple issuing:
This indicator allows the system to send the output multiply
Ex: sales order has been sent for 10 items again one item has been added to sales order so that business has to issue the new out put for sold to party with added line items. This indicator allows the system to send out put repeatedly.
    Check partner independent out put:
During output processing when the indicator has not set then system allows only specific functions in specific partner functions
    Don’t write processing:
This indicator determines whether system has to write processing log for output
    Default values tab:
    Dispatch time:
Ex: send immediately: when carry the application this indicator determines when the output should be sent.
    Transmission medium:
    Ex:     print out
         Fax
         Telex
         Internal send
         EDI
         Simple mail
         Special function
         Events (SAP business workflow)
         Distribution (ALE)
         Tasks (SAP business work flow)
Specify the transmission medium through which the output should be sent. (Ex: print output)
    Communication strategy
Specify the communication strategy if you want to send the output externally
    A) Time tab:
Check timing: (Periodic job not allowed)
This indicator allows the system to carry out print program periodically.
    B) PRINT NEXT TAB):
    Print parameter: Ex sales org.
         Specify the print parameter.
Click on mail title & Text control button under dialog structure.
Here we assign title for the mail along with relevant text Ex:-EN (English)
Processing routines control button under dialog structure.
Here we assign programs form routines & form that are written by ABAPER, they           they various transmission mediums.
Ex; - Transmission medium      shortest      program     form routine
              1                  print out     RVADOR       entry
Click on position function control button here we assign relevant partner function to relevant transmission mediums
EX: print out: SP (Sold to party)
    C) Maintain access sequences:
         Here we define Access sequence.
EX: 0010 & Assign the condition tables to this output.
    D) Assign out put types to partner function:
Here we assign output types along with transmission mediums to relevant partner functions.

  • Output determination process

    hi
my issue is how an outputdetermination happens from sales to invoice, please help me out in this process

For getting any output either by print, Fax, or any media you have to do output determination. output determination is also carried by Condition techniques. The detail procedure for Output Determination is :
    OutPut Determintaion :
Output is a form of media from your business to one of its business partners or it can be within the organization. The output can be sent to any of the partners defined in the document. Outputs are usually in the form of Order Confirmations, Freight List, Delivery Notes, Invoices & Shipping Notifications. Determining form of output is output determination.
    Types of Output:
Print Output, Fax, Telex, E-Mail & EDI (Electronic Data Interchange)
    --> PRINT OUTPUT:
Configuration path: ( following are the steps)
    1) SPRO-> IMG-> Basic Functions-> Output Control-> Output Determination-> Output Determination using Condition Technique- >Output Determination for Sales Documents (or you can use output determination for billing documents depending on your requirement).
    2) Create Condition Table: select the field Sales Doc Type from field catalog & Save
    3) Maintain Access Sequence: 4-digits code & description.
    4) Assign condition table to access sequence. Select Accesses line item and Go To Fields. Fields will display the fields we have selected in the condition table i.e. sales doc type.
    Maintain Output Types:
    AF00: Inquiry
    AN00: Quotation
    BA00: Order Confirmation
    LD00: Delivery
    RD00: Invoice
Select BA00 & Copy & Rename. Give the same 4-digit code as given to access sequence.
    You Can Maintain:
    Languages of Output
Partners (to whom you need to send output)
    Print Program- print specification
    Sap Script- layout
Assign Output Types to Partner Functions: go to new entries & assign your output type to partner functions.
Maintain Output Determination Procedure: V10000 (Standard Procedure). Go to new entries and create your own 6-digit code with description. Select the procedure, go to Control Data. Here mention the output type i.e. condition type and leave requirement and manual only columns as blank.
Determination Rule: link the 6-digit procedure code to doc types.
Create Condition Records: VV11. Select document type and click on Communication. Mention partner function, medium, time. Output device: LP01, Spool request Name: SD_003, Suffix 2: order_confir & flag on print immediately.
Once you press enter you will come across 2 key combinations:
Sales organisation/ Customer Number: fill SO, Customer No, Partner Function Abbreviation, Partner to whom the output should be sent, time, medium, language.
    It contains: Sales Orgnisation, Customer, Partner Function (The abbreviated form of the name that identifies the Partner) (During output determination, the system determines the recipient of the output from the master record for the specified partner function. In this field, you can explicitly specify a recipient that will override the standard partner. There must also be a master record for the partner that is specified explicitly.), Medium, Time & Language.}
Order Type: Document Type, Partner Function (abbreviation), Partner, Medium, Time & Language.
Path For Output Determination For Sales Documents: Logistics -> Sales/distribution -> Master data -> Output -> Sales Document -> Create (t-code VV11)
    Path for Output Determination for Delivery Documents : Logistics -> Sales/distribution -> Master data -> Output -> shipping -> Create ( t-ode VV21)
Path for Output Determination for Billing Documents : Logistics -> Sales/distribution -> Master data -> Output -> Billing Document -> Create ( t- code VV31)

  • Sales order value based invoicing

    Hi ,
Present setting is that Invoicing is done based on the quantity, is it possible that I can do the invoicing based on sales order value.
    2) How to control that Invoicing value and quantity  should not exceed the sales order quantity and value.
    Regards

    Hi
most of conditions used in sales pricing get copied directly from order to invoice, only freight and delivery charges are aded up while generation of invoice.
So functionally  if you can estimate freight or delivery charge value in sales order ,you can always maintian routine to be triggered in pricing procedure while invoice generation  to indicate whether  invoice  freight value is exceeding either the individual freight value for sales order  or compare total sale order value  with total invoice value.
You can set error message if value exceeds than allowed condition value and so the transaction will not be saved.
Alternatively Condition types AMIZ,AMIW can also be used to have a control through estimation.
Create appropriate pricing routines with the help of ABAP developer and apply to condition value. Use statistical condition types for control of conditions.and I think what you are trying to achieve can be done.

  • Output determination for partner function in PO

    Hi MM Gurus.....
<b>How to determine the out put type for a freight vendor in PO ?</b>
Business scenario : We have a regular vendor from whom we procure material. Also we have different freight vendor which we maintain in condition type for freight.
Now , I want two different output types to be generated for these two different vendor ?
I tried using partner functions, maintained condition records for both vendor with different condition type ..but , system determines the output for only regular vendor and not for freight vendor.
Can anyone please help me resolve this issue ?
    Many Thanks in Advance,
    Vidyadhar.
