Hallo Miteinander,
ich habe 2 Registrierungsprobleme. Wie komme ich an den Adobe Support heran? Per Telefon geht es nicht mehr und sonst läuft viel in englisch.
Dieser Sprache bin ich nicht mächtig. Es dreht sich alles, wie im Kreis Danke für den entscheidenden Hinweis im voraus.

KEINE LUST MEHR! - ABSCHIED VON PREMIERE PRO

Nach ewigem Ärger mit den ersten Versionen von Premiere Pro CC ist das Arbeiten mit Premiere Pro immer noch ein Geduldsspiel welches viel Nerven und vor allem Geld kosten, da wir hier viel Zeit mit dem beheben von Fehlern verbringen!
Hier im Studio steht einer der schnellsten Macs die man für Geld kaufen kann aber selbst der Schnitt von einfachen HD-Projekten wird zum nervenaufreibenden Akt.
Die Telefonnummer der Adobe-Hotline kennt mitlerweile fast jeder hier auswendig und wenn morgens das System gestartet wird, weiss niemand, ob die Software ordentlich startet.
Uns so beginnt ein Tag mit ADOBE PREMIERE PRO:
PPro startet.... oh, schon wieder die 4 Monitore nicht erkannt. Also in Einstellungen nachschauen... PPro die Konfiguration vergessen und einen falschen PGM-Monitor ausgewählt. Also, neu wählen, und PPro neu starten.
Endlich, alle Fenster sind da. Nur die Anordnung der BIns ist nicht merh wie bei Verlassen des Systems. Also erstmal suchen und neu ordnen.
(Die Bins muss man nach denem Start neu sortieren weil anscheinend die ADOBE-Entwickler nicht fähig sind, es ordenlich und logisch zu programmieren.)
Die Sequenzen muss man mühsam suchen da es keine Möglichkeit gibt, diese farblich zu kennzeichnen. Wir machen dehalb ein Bin "SEQUENZEN_FINAL" in dem die Sequenzen abgelegt werden, damit wir diese schneller finden.
OK, nun erstmal an den Schnitt. Ein HD-Projekt von der Canon MK2... irgendwann ruckelt es. Bei 4K von der RED ist es noch unerträglicher.
Endlich, irgendwann ist es fertig, nun nur noch ein Master in ProRes rechnen lassen. Aber auch hier gibt es Ärger!
Gerade habe ich 3 Stunden gebraucht um ein fehlerfreies PRORES (Egal welches ProRes!!) zu rendern da immer wieder Spratzer im Matierial waren. Nach fast 8 Versuchen hat es dann noch geklappt.
Wir müssen das Material von der RED immer noch via RED-CINE konbertieren weil der ADOBE- ProRES-Codec ein starkes Bildrauschen erzeugt. Letzte Woche rief ein Kölner Sender an und fragte,
warum die Qualität des Materials so schlecht sei. Das Material war in 4K mit der RED gedreht! Wir haben es dann mit RED-Cine neu konvertiert und mit einer Testversion von Final Cut X neu geschitten.
Obwohl wir erst gegen Final Cut X waren - mit FC-X läuft es einwandfrei ohne Abstürze! - Auch mit RED-4K Files und 4 Filtern auf dem Material!!
Wie sagte mir doch eine Dame von der ADOBE-Hotline "...hier arbeiten nur Programmierer, die habe alle keine Ahnung wie man die Software genau nutzt..." Naja, warum nicht mal einen Profi einstellen?
So geht es einfach nicht und wir werden Adobe nach der Beendigung eines aktuellen Projekts nicht mehr weiter nutzen.

Integration of other Adobe products..Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Encore DVD

Prior to obtaining CS2 I have been working with the other video/audio Adobe tools; Premiere Pro, After Effects, Audition, Encore DVD.
I fully expected to see integration of these products into the Bridge application after CS2 installation. I was disappointed, there does not appear to be any such integration. I do hope that this is in plan, and that I don't have to spend an "upgrade" fee to use integration that should have been there to begin with.
Even if there is no further integration, it would be nice to be able to continue using the Bridge as my "file manager" in the event I have to transfer my CS2 activation to another computer; after all I still have 4 licensed Adobe products installed on the machine, even if there not, quote, CS2 applications.

I can't use Bridge with my video products anymore. I have 3 systems in my personal development environment. I am now past the 30 day period before activation of CS2 is required on my video editing machine. Now I am no longer able to use Adobe Bridge with my other Adobe (video) products.
Also, now I've noticed that the next level of video products is available, they now have Bridge integrated. As I anticipated in my first append, I cannot continue using Bridge with my Adobe video products unless I spend more money for an upgrade. If the intention is to have Bridge become an integral tool in the creative process, this policy is short sighted. It can't be that difficult to bring out an update for the CS2 level of bridge that would enable it to work with users that have AE 6.5 or PPro 1.5 installed.

Premiere Pro CS4 (which includes Encore CS4) Failed to install

HI everyone, I am trying to reinstall Premiere Pro (which also includes Encore CS4) since I seem to be having some problems with the Blu-ray authoring in Encore. I uninstalled Premiere Pro from the Add/Delete Programs in Win XP Pro Control panel. After uninstalling, I'm trying to reinstall Premiere Pro/Encore programs. However, I'm getting an "Error Code 2" for Dynamic Link, Encore CS4, Encore CS4 Codecs, and the Encore US Language Pack. Then the install stops and fails to complete the installation.
Anyone have any ideas what's happening here? My system specs are below. I don't know what's wrong in order to fix it.

I'd just suggest to run CS4 clean tool one time or (better) twice, after uninstallation.

Good choice to switch off antiviruses.
Take also a look to the disks, are they clean?

Pas d'import de séquences Adobe premiere pro CC dans Adobe Encore CS6

Bonjour,
Je viens de créer un gros projet dans PP CC, projet acec 7 séquences différentes.
Impossible d'importer les séquences dans Encore CS6 : dynamic link démarre, puis plus rien.
L'import a fonctionné avec des photos jpg, des vidéos m2ts, de la musique m4a et mp3, mais rien avec les séquences PP CC.
Le résultat est toujours le même quel que soit le chemin choisi pour réaliser l'import :
- Importer une séquence Première Pro,
- importer comme élément.

Premiere Pro CC Timelapse und Bildsequenzen werden nicht flüssig dargestellt.

Hallo, ich habe ein Problem mit Premiere Pro CC. Wenn ich aus einem mehrere Minuten langen Clip ein Speedup von beispielsweise 3000% erstelle oder eine Bildsequenz als timelapse in meiner Sequenz habe, wird diese nicht flüssig abgespielt. Teilweise hängt sich PP sogar beim ersten Frame auf und stoppt komplett. Ich habe ein Acer Aspire V3-771G-736b321.26TBDWa Notebook, mit dem alles andere eigentlich einwandfrei läuft. Gibt es eine Möglichkeit, die Clips zu rendern (obwohl sie gelb markiert sind, also nicht gerendert werden müssen)? Vielen Dank schon mal für die Hilfe.

Also erstmal vielen Dank für deine schnelle Hilfe. Dass man die Timeline vom Menü aus rendern kann war mir vollkommen entgangen. Allerdings konnte ich mir mittlerweile selbst helfen, indem ich den Clip durch eine After Effects Komposition ersetzt habe. Nun habe ich aber noch eine Frage. Sobald ich PP neu starte, sind viele meiner Vorschau Dateien wieder weg und ich muss alles neu rendern. Ich habe die Vorschaudateien auf der gleichen (externen) Festplatte wie das Rohmaterial. (Vielleicht liegt es daran?)
Eine zweite Frage hätte ich auch noch und zwar kann man anscheinend seit der CC Version im Materialbin die Clips nicht mehr nach Erstellungsdatum ordnen. (In früheren Versionen war das noch möglich und nach anderen Kriterien kann man auch immer noch ordnen, nur nach Datum nicht). Da ich mit 2 Kameras gedreht habe und mehrere Stunden Material habe, kann ich das Material nicht manuell ordnen. Hast du da zufällig nen Tip?

Adobe Premiere Pro 2.0 & Adobe Encore 1.0?

Hi there, Can some kind soul please point me to a resource or explain exactly what Encore v1.0 has to offer over & above Premiere Pro 2.0 and/or Premiere Elements 2.0? I have just built a new PC and not wanting to install anything that may be surplus to requirements I thought I would ask the question - excuse my ignorance...<ducking> I have both Premiere Pro 2.0 and Premiere Elements 2.0 installed and I also have Encore v1.0 - I was wondering whether to just install Encore 2.0 and be done with but doesn't Premiere Pro/Premiere Elements 2.0 output to DVD directly from the timeline with chapter points, menus etc? Isn't this what Encore does or does it 'do it better'? Is it worth my while even installing Encore 1.0? Maybe take this chance to upgrade to Encore 2.0? Worthwhile upgrade? What will Encore 2.0 give me above & beyond what Premiere Pro/Elements 2.0 offers? Thanks for any help in advance. Regards, -=Glyn=-

Here's a few:
1. You can't save customized menus in Premiere Pro. Any changes you make to the standard templates are good in that project only. In Encore, you can save customized templates in the Library for use in other projects.
2. PPro's menus are limited to a main menu and a scene selection menu. You can't create extra menus. In Encore you can have many menus for navigation and/or special effects.
3. In PPro, there is no way to set up custom navigation between timelines and/or between menus. You can't even change which button links to which chapter/scene. Encore's navigation and program flow possibilities are (almost) limitless.
4. Motion menus and buttons are limited to 30-second durations in PPro. There is no such limitation in Encore.
5. PPro doesn't support dual-layer discs.
6. In PPro, you can't add subtitles without duplicating the video. The audience can't turn the subtitles on and off in the middle of a program.
7. You are very limited in how you can add any bonus material to your disc.
8. And...drum roll, please...you can't easily edit menus or templates in PPro by going into and out of Photoshop like you can in Encore. Menu design and creation in Encore is limited only by your imagination because of its integration with Photoshop.

Must render everything in Premiere Pro before sending to Encore?

I think the answer is no, I DON'T have to have EVERYTHING in the Premiere Pro sequence that I'm sending to Encore completely rendered as I don't think I see any problems BUT am I missing something?

Moral: don't walk away! Ha, ha!
All rendering does is create preview files. This helps realtime playback. In the end, you don't want to use those when you transcode (create the actual file that will be used as the final product).
Dynamic link simply creates a link to one of the PR sequences, and when it is time to create the DVD format, Encore (or since CS5 you have the option for Adobe Media Encoder) will transcode the PR sequence into a file that EN will use to "build" the disk.
You need to look at some of the threads on Macs and external drives. Sorry, can't point you to a specific one, but I suspect someone else can.

Edit: Here's a post that explains a bit of this differently. There are lots of particulars, and you have the choice of using your preview files. But the prevailing wisdom is that you get better quality if you use "maximum render quality" which does not use old preview files.

How to export Premiere Pro CC projects to Encore

I've tried the route of exporting picking the MPEG2 DVD option, but my video looks horrid. I tried importing my sequence to Premiere CS6 in order to "send to encore" via dynamic link. Unfortunately it won't read the sequence. Why won't Adobe just add "send to encore" via dynamic link like before? I spend 13 hours off and on yesterday just trying with Adobe reps over phone to get Encore to work. This is really kililng me right now. My clients are not happy. They want their DVD and bluray and I can't deliver. NOT COOL!

Premiere Pro CC2014 I download encore unzipped where do I put file. It stated no installer.

I have old Premiere 8 and 9 on my computer.
Now I installed Premiere Pro CC 2014 which doesn't have Encore or templates for titles with it. I have downloaded the Encore cs6 which is .exe file but when I double click it states their is no installer. It needs to be put into the folder with the other files that have the installer included with them. I can't find that folder. I am using a 30 day free trial and I haven't yet been able to complete one movie to DVD. 6 days gone already!

Premiere pro 1.5 and Encore DVD 2.0

I have Premiere Pro 1.5 but I like the new features of Encore DVD 2.0. Does any have any problems and/or comments if I upgrade to Encore 2.0, but still use Premiere 1.5. Especially around the areas of compatablity and importing.

I use Premier Pro 1.5 for all my video editing. I export my video files out of PP 1.5 as Microsoft AVI format into Encore 2.0 for DVD authoring without any compatibility problems. I use Encore 2.0 and it works great for me. Hope this helps.

ich möchte Adobe Premiere Pro für einen Monat aktivieren - länger wird der Videoschnitt nicht dauern. Ich habe gelesen, dass man 30 Tage zuvor kündigen muß. Demnach muß ich Premiere Pro am selben Tag der Aktivierung wieder Deaktivieren? Wenn ja, muß ich beim Support telefonisch kündigen?

Ist das Programm Encore immer noch Bestandteil von Premiere Pro? Oder kann man das auch alleine installieren?

Nun habe ich eine Hilfeseite gefunden in der steht, dass ich Premiere herunterladen installieren und dann deinstallieren soll. Bei der deinstallation soll ich dann Encore deaktiviert lassen. Leider gibts bei mir beim Deinsatllationsprozess kein Encore...
Kann mir da wer weiterhelfen?

How do I export a menu created in Premiere Pro CS5 to Adobe Encore CS5?

Hey everyone,
First time in here. Trying some new things in CS5. Anyway, I created a working DVD menu in Photoshop and brought it into Premiere to lay in some video and music. The video is an inset that moves from left to right and sits atop the background created in Photoshop. The file looks great in Premier and now I'm wanting to know how I can export this file so that it is a working menu in Encore and is the first play item for my completed DVD. Can this be done? Looking forward to the answers.

There are some very good Encore tutorials for making motion and video menus on www.lynda.com that you might find helpful. If I understand what you are trying to do though, I don't think there is a direct method to accomplish what you want.
Let me ask you first, does the video inset that is moving across the screen have to continually be moving, or can you live with it moving from point A to point B at the start, then stop and become a normal menu with the video inset stationary?
