Frequent Program Crashes

HP desktop:  HP8-1050Z
Windows 7 64-bit
Window crash report below
computer purchased in July 2011
I'm experiencing unreliability on my HP computer which I purchased in late July 2011.  It came with Windows 7 64-bit Professional loaded.
I have a couple of programs that when exiting, I get the message that the program has crashed.
For example, here is the Window crash report for Adobe Lightroom:

Other funny things happen – one program crashes after it opens, occasional unexpected file corruptions, colors sometimes do not print correctly – and I have no idea if this is being caused by one problem or if they are unconnected.
Here is what I have run to check things out:
-HP support assistant
-Created diagnostics disk and ran it
-Check disk for memory
-Error checking from op system C
-Windows extended memory diagnostic test
Everything checked out ok.
All the software programs were purchased before I bought the computer and are all compatible with Windows 7.
I do not have Internet connection from said computer.

Hi,
From the Start Menu, open All Programs, open Accessories, right click the Command Prompt and select 'Run as Administrator'.  In to the prompt type the following command and hit enter.
sfc /scannow                 ( note that there is a space between sfc and the / )
Let the process complete, then type exit and hit enter.
Next, click the Start Menu, click Computer, left click Local Disc C once to highlight it, right click Local Disc C and select Properties.  Click the Tools tab and then click the button to 'Check the Drive for Errors'.  In the following window make sure both boxes are ticked and then click Start.  Part of this process will require a restart to check the drive.
