  • The new Flash update installer stops at 95% and freezes.

The new Flash update installer stops at 95% and freezes. I have followed all of the the uninstall procedures, made sure there were no files in the library/internet plugins folder and opened the installer folder and used the sub folder install nothing works. I get the blocked plugin message from video players telling me download the update. I've spent two days now trying everything.

    Try the offline installer(s)
Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)

  • HT1766 I was attempting to backup my iphone 5 getting ready to update it to ios 7 and i accodentally restored it to the settings of my last phone which was an iphone 4s and it erased all my new pictures and info off my new phone and need help getting them

I was attempting to backup my iphone 5 getting ready to update it to ios 7 and i accidentally restored it to the settings of my last phone which was an iphone 4s and it erased all my new pictures and info off my new phone and was wondering if anyone knows how i can get them back and restore it back like i has it?  Thanks

That means you have not a backup before accidentally restore your new iPhone 5.
So you should recover your new pictures and info with a third recovery tool.
This blog has a useful tool to meet you.
    http://easy-iphone-recovery.blogspot.com/2013/09/iphone-recovery-resource.html
In step 1, you should choose 'Recover from iOS Device' in the main interface and then following the steps to get your pictures and info back.
    Good Luck.

  • I am trying to manually update my iPod 3rd G to IOS5 but when I update it has error 3002, and when I restore it has error 3194

I'm using windows Vista and i have a very bad internet connection that makes it impossible to download the update as my internet disconnects almost every 3 minutes and if the 634 MB update stops at any point it restarts, I have been trying since IOs 5 was released so I manually dowloaded it from the link on this site
    http://techie-buzz.com/mobile-news/ios5-ipsw-direct-download-links.html
I have allready tried every suggestion I could find online, I have changed the Hosts file to include #74.208.105.171 gs.apple.com and checked there is nothing else there that shouldn't be there. I have tried using TinyUmbrella with the correct advanced settings and i have tried restoring it in DFU mode none of it has workes it always extracts teh files then says there is an unknown error.
Can anyone tell me if theres something I''ve missed because i'm getting very tired of this as I've been trying to update to IOS5 for months and every time I fix a problem theres a new one to deal with.

Two possible reasons why you can't update:
Are you sure you have a 3rd gen and not a 2nd? Go to Settings > General > About > Serial Number to get your serial number, then enter it here: http://support.apple.com/specs/
Has your iPod ever been jailbroken?

  • HT4623 i got a ipad that i want to update all of my apps and data from my ipad mini.

    Hi

If you want to transfer the data and apps from one iPad to another iPad, take a look at this.

  • HT201413 i cannot restore my ipad software i had download a new software on itunes but i couldnot download it on ipad or restore the old software and the problem is restoring ipad firmware

i cannot restore my ipad software i had download a new software on itunes but i couldnot download it on ipad or restore the old software and the problem is restoring ipad firmware

Try and force iPad into Recovery Mode
    1. Disconnect the USB cable from the device, but leave the other end of the cable connected to your computer's USB port.
    2. Turn off the device: Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button for a few seconds until the red slider appears, then slide the slider. Wait for the device to turn off.
3.While pressing and holding the Home button, reconnect the USB cable to the device. The device should turn on.
    4. Continue holding the Home button until you see the "Connect to iTunes" screen. When this screen appears, release the Home button. iTunes should alert you that it has detected a device in recovery mode. Click OK, and then click Restore to restore the device.
Note: Data will be lost. You may have to repeat the above many times.

  • Updated to ios 6 OTA and freezes on yellow screen or apple logo

Updated to ios 6 over the air and when completed it froze on yellow screen, after that it stays on apple log but cant enter dfu, sometimes it freezes on blue but i dont know why it done this apple caused this

    Try:
    - iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
    - If not successful and you can't fully turn the iPod fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
    - If still not successful that indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

  • Update failure "not notified" slow and freezing since, on Mac

As of 16th sept firefox has been extremely slow or non responsive, Cache and cookies emptied, while Safari is responding ok.
I noticed in check updates that an update was attempted but unsuccessful, usually i am notified of updates, but no notification was given.
Sites mostly affected are those like firefox, hotmail, yahoo, ebay, clamxav,
I will update plugins i have, however seems odd that problems started without any change within my mac

I can't tell you what might have caused the problem. The PRAM stores certain information such as the startup volume, monitor settings, and some other system parameters. If the PRAM becomes corrupted or if there's a loss of power and the PRAM battery in the computer is dead, then the PRAM content would be lost. In some cases this can even prevent the computer from booting until the battery is replaced.
There isn't anything you can do to prevent such a problem other than checking the PRAM battery and replacing it if necessary. Of course it's very unusual for the battery to die in an 8 month old computer, so I'm guessing it was something else that corrupted the PRAM. What that would be is hard to tell other than guessing it may be a problem with the installed RAM. On the other hand it could prove to be a one time event.
There is nothing specific in the help files that covers troubleshooting. But the Apple Support site provides access to the Knowledge Base to find information that does deal with specific problems. You can search the KB using keywords to look for any relevant articles. Additionally you have access to the Discussions. Book stores also have many books about the Mac and OS X such as The Macintosh Bible and The Missing Manual. These are worth putting on your bookshelf. For more extreme troubleshooting you can visit The XLab FAQs, and you can purchase Dr. Smoke's outstanding eBook on troubleshooting Leopard.

  • I updated my 4s to ios7, and had to restore it (stupidly forgot my passcode and disabled it), and now it wont activate, for 2 days... I can't activate it through iTunes because the sim card is locked. What do I do?

I need help reactivating my 4s!
I updated the software to ios7, couldn't remember my passcode (never used it before, and ios7 turned it on) and ended up disabling my phone. Erased it remotely via Find my iPhone, and now that I'm trying to restore it, it wont activate. It's been this way for 2 days now. I get the "activation server is unavailable" error. I realize Apple is struggling with their servers during this software update and launch of the new iPhone 5, but really, 2 days now??
I am currently living abroad, and am using a sim card that must be unlocked. So when I plug it into iTunes, it will not activate because the sim card is locked.
Help!! Is there anything I can do?

Try disconnecting your iPhone temporarily and then reconnecting it after a while.

  • Why does iTunes always crash and freeze on my iPad?

Every time I access iTunes and try to select music or search, for example, it freezes and then crashes. I have restored the iPad and it was ok for a few minutes then did the same thing. Is there anything I can do as I would like to be able to download music, but at this rate I am considering using another service...?
Any help would be very appreciated
    Thanks

    Hi there Ritchiet,
You may want to try force closing all open apps and resetting the device as an initial troubleshooting step. Take a look at the articles below for more information.
