Friend can't see my emoji's?

My friend has a galaxy s4 and can see everyone else's emoji's except when I send them? He can see them from every other iPhone except mine. I have an Iphone 4.

I uninstalled Skype and reinstalled an earlier version (6.1.999.130) and disabled automatic updates of the software and the issue was resolved.

HT4314 After updating my OS, I couldn't get onto my gamecenter account. I created a new nickname to see what would happen. Now I can only access my new nickname, but not my old one that has all my scores. My friends can still see my old nickname.

After updating my OS, I couldn't get onto my gamecenter account. I created a new nickname to see what would happen. Now I can only access my new nickname, but not my old one. However, my old account has all my scores! I want to delete the new nickname and re-access my old (i.e., original) nickname. Interestingly, my friends can still see my old nickname.
Any suggestions would be VERY appreciated! Thanks.

This was EXACTLY what I needed about the purchases I made from my device. However, is there a way to re-download other ones you've made from a computer? Because I realized some of them were not just purchased from my device.

As you can see, the stuff circled in red doesn't give me an option to download from Cloud Beta because it already says "downloaded".

My friends can't see my iMovie!

I've emailed my friends an iMovie and they can't see it. I don't understand why not.
Here's what I did:
- recorded myself using iSight camera
- made my movie in iMovie (added title screen, music transitions)
- saved it
- clicked Share -> email.
- attached that .mov file into an email
When that didn't work, I tried Share -> Quicktime and attached THAT .mov file into an email.
I've checked with my friends. They have the latest QuickTime on their PC's.
WHAT AM I DOING WRONG???

Pic-in-Chats involves File transfers.
Thins in turn needs port 5190 on the UDP Protocol to be open in your router.
As they are not getting them the issue is more likely to be their end. (the Mac Firewall and most routers on block Incoming stuff rather than outgoing stuff)

My friend can see my BBM messages, I can't see her replies

I'm having problems chatting on BBM with one of my friends. We added each other about a week or two ago, and didn't have any problems. Yesterday night when I tried messaging her, I did not get any replies. This morning the same thing happened. When I asked her, she mentioned having answered all my messages.
So in other words, she can view my messages but I can't see what she replies. I get the "D" sign every time I send her a message, but it never changes to read "R." In her case, she doesn't get a "D" nor an "R." I know she can read my messages because a friend we have in common invited us both a conference on BBM and she could see everything we both typed.
I find this really annoying. I have tried pretty much everything.
1. Removing my battery (several times)
2. Re-installing BBM
3. Restarting my BB8900
4. My friend called Verizon (her mobile provider) in the US and tried Tech Support.
5. Registering my BB with the wireless network.
6. Clearing my log (Alt + LGLG)
7. Turning off my mobile network and then back.
8.Deleting my friend from my BBM and adding her back. If she adds me, I get the request but once accepted, it stays as pending. I have to be the one adding her.
Any help would be really appreciated.

I am having the same issue and was on the phone with Verizon for 2 hours and NOTHING. Did you ever get this resolved or figure out what the problem is? My friend can't see any of my BBMs, but I can send to everybody else and I also get his. This is driving me absolutely insane!!! Please let me know if you got an answer or figured it out.

Friend can't open pictures from me once I switched phones

Hey, I just got a refurbished iPhone 4 from AT&T, and now my friend can't see any pictures that I send her... All of my other friends can see pictures that I send them... and this particular friend could see the pictures that I was sending from my old iPhone 3GS... anyone have any ideas? We both have data plans on our phones that allow MMS messages
My MMS is turned on, and nothing has changed on her phone... she gets a picture message, but when she tries to open it, it just has a question mark... like... did the format of pictures change between the iphone 3gs and 4?

You might be able to set the permissions so that both can read and write by download and run BatChmod on the iPhoto Library folder with the settings shown here, putting your administartive name in as the owner and and select a group that both you and your wife's accounts are a member of. Make sure that group has read and write and I think that should let both add and edit photos there.

TIP: For insurance against the iPhoto database corruption that many users have experienced I recommend making a backup copy of the Library6.iPhoto database file and keep it current. If problems crop up where iPhoto suddenly can't see any photos or thinks there are no photos in the library, replacing the working Library6.iPhoto file with the backup will often get the library back. By keeping it current I mean backup after each import and/or any serious editing or work on books, slideshows, calendars, cards, etc. That insures that if a problem pops up and you do need to replace the database file, you'll retain all those efforts. It doesn't take long to make the backup and it's good insurance.

I can only see some of the information of my Facebook friends in my Contacts. For example, a friend has a birthday today. I received an email that she and another friend have birthdays this week. I received a notification on my iPhone and iPad that her birthday was today. It was never displayed in my Notification Center or Calendar beforhand, like it's displayed for other friend's (for other friends, it's displayed in the Notification Center, with the Calendar icon, 1 day before). I looked at every setting I could think of and the Help pages on Facebook. Nothing is working. My friend with the birthday today has her birthday openly listed on her Profile information on her Facebook page. In my contacts, her Facebook email (the one Facebook assigns you when you join) is listed. However her picture and birthday are not listed. I displayed my Facebook Contacts only, and roughly 20 showed up and not the rest. It's like the devices are not recognizing those people and putting their information in the respective places. I have an iPad 3rd Gen, iPhone 5, and MacBook Pro (purchased in January 2013. I hope that helps) and ALL the software updates are current. Can anyone help? Also, my MacBook cannot access my Contacts from Yahoo. Despite my typing in the correct password repeatedly as well as deleting and adding the Yahoo account again. On the new iPad it always display: last game played, none.

On both the timeline is correct tough.

well I can see how many friends she has but how I can view the names of her friends? I know a way but it doesnt work for me Please helppp!

We can not see other peoples' contact lists from our side, unless they happen to be sharing their screens and their contact list happens to be in view.
Conversely, your own contact list would be viewable as soon as you sign on to Skype via the client software or app; I believe it is consistent across most platforms that a computer/laptop is "Contacts" and a mobile app is "People."

Can't see friend on iChat video?

My friend and I both have new macs, and she is in the northern woods of Wisconsin, but she has internet, and we can connect with video chat, but I can't see her. She can see me though. All I see is myself? Any reason why that would be?

What Internet Speeds does she have ?
If she is on 10.5.x or lower then she should go to System Preferences > Quicktime > Streaming and set the speed here to 1.5Mbps (even if her Upload is not as fast as that.)
You should do the same.
You (both) will need to restart iChat to "See" the new speed.
After that try adjusting the Bandwidth Setting in iChat > Preferences > Video Section to 500kbps to "even out" any Speed differences you have.

Apple Mail isn't going to change the format of any of your attachments. it isn't going to corrupt them either.
Exchange is a transport protocol and server. The issue you describe is not related to Exchange.
There are many different versions of Microsoft Outlook in use and they all have e-mail bugs. Different versions have different bugs. Some Apple Mail hack to get around a bug in Outlook 2003 may cause the same message to be problematic in Outlook 2000. Fix them both and another issue will cause trouble in Outlook 2007. You can't fix this. Apple can't fix this. Microsoft can and has but that is irrelevant if your recipients are using older versions.
One specific problem is that Apple Mail always sends image attachments inline, as images, not as iconized files. You can change this with Attachment Tamer. Just be aware that use of this software will break other things such as Stationery. E-mail is just a disaster. To date, no one outside of Apple has ever implemented the e-mail standards from 1993. Apple has continually changed its e-mail software to be more compatible with the de-facto standards that Netscape and Microsoft have unilaterally defined and people documented as "standards" after the fact. The e-mail messages that Apple Mail sends are 100% correct and do not violate any of the original standards from 1993 or the Microsoft/Netscape modifications. The problem is entirely bugs and limitations in various versions of Outlook.

Can't see friends respond. help please

Lately I have been having trouble with the connection of my iChat.
I type for a little while and then my friends never type back and I think that it is just because they are gone, but I sign off and sign back on and there are all these offline ims waiting for me.
they can see me typing and they are responding, yet I can't see what they say until I reload iChat.
any help would be appreciated!
