Hi! Im using a macbook Pro 17,5 and I´ll have one audio input and one mic input! But Im using only the audio input with my iphone 5 headset and using the mic from that headset!

You should post in the Skype forums. However I would presume that Skype needs a WiFi network not a 3GS network to function.

HELP! I don't hear voicemail notifications

I can hear a sound when I receive a text, Facebook message, twitter etc, but I don’t hear a sound when someone leaves me a voicemail.
If I go to settings, Notifications, the “Sound” it says, ON. For the life of me I can’t find the settings for the voicemail settings.
Can someone please HELP me?

I've never heard an alert for Voicemail on any BlackBerry phone I've owned. I'm with Rogers in Canada and when I receive a Voicemail, they send me an SMS message that has the message converted to text. I get an audible tone for that SMS message but not for the Voicemail itself. You might want to ask AT&T if they offer such a service to convert Voicemails to SMS. Otherwise, I'm not aware of any audible tone you can receive.

I just noticed that when I talk on skype, my friends can not hear me as clear. I went to sound setting on the mac and noticed that my voice was getting picked up to good regardless of chaning the setting. Has anyone got any idea??

Basic troubleshooting from the User's Guide is reset, restart, restore. Has any of this been tried?
It is possible that dropping the device has caused the issue.... regardless, it's unlikely Apple would do a warranty exchange since there is obvious user damage.
If basic troubleshooting does not resolve the issue, take it to an Apple store for evaluation... if determined to be a hardware issue and you ask nicely, they may be able to assist you, but they may also only provide the option of an Out of Warranty replacement.

In gmail chat, google voice what might you ask your friend to try by way of getting thier gmail chat, google voice to work if you can be heard by them clearly on their iMac desktop Apple computer but you don't hear them on your iMac desktop Apple computer?... given that everything works okay like you can heari the ringing tone to connect, volume is set okay, speakers are working okay for other things but when connected you don't hear them when they hear you.

In iChat > Preferences > Video section > Bandwidth Limit set the speed at both end as 500kbps.
This can help if one end has a much faster internet connection than the other.
It can also help where ISPs try to work against Peer-to-Peer file sharing.
Video and Audio Only chats are Peer-to-Peer and suffer when ISP slow down the connection to combat this.
It is more common in Cable connections than DSL ones due to low contention rates.

Try restarting your iPhone by holding down the on/off and the home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo, double check the volume button just in case. If you still can't hear the tones go into your settings>sounds and make sure the options are on.

I'm sure you have checked, but make sure your mute button on the keyboard is not on , also check that you haven't touched the space bar during a call as that mutes it.

Rotation problem when talking to friend on FaceTime.

Recently when talking to my friend on FaceTime she kept saying that the rotation was off when we talked and that the little box with her face in it was no longer on the screen. I kept locking and unlocking mine with the side button, and even going to settings, then general, and adjusting the rotation on hers and mine with no luck.

What does "the rotation was off" mean? If you can describe more clearly what the problem is, the more likely we can help you. How were you trying to adjust the rotation on your friend's iPad?

I have the same problem. It only started a few days ago. When I make or receive calls I have to use speaker otherwise I can't hear a thing. I'm also pretty sure that when I try to make calls without the speaker turned on, it doesn't actually dial, but the display says it has.
I've tried restoring from a backup with no luck. I'm reluctant to restore as a new phone as it's such a pain.

Siri seems to not be working for many people right now. The only thing you can do is wait.

Don't hear ringing when making call

Hi,
Recently when I make a call I don't hear the call ringing the other person. It's fine once the other person picks up but I just don't hear the ringing so I never know if it's actually trying to connect or not - any suggestions? Anything I've done in settings etc?
