Friends & Family Mobile £1.50 per month, but no di...

Hi there,
I've always been puzzled why we're paying for BT's Friends & Family Mobile at £1.50 per month, but don't appear to be getting the discounted call rates to mobiles - any ideas?
Before BT changed their calling plans, we had BT Friends & Family plus option (or whatever it was back then), but when they changed their calling plans we opted for BT's Unlimited Anytime plan with BT Total Broadband Option 1.
I can't work out why we're being charged £1.50 per month which is supposed to offer you calls to UK mobiles at a reduced price of 7p per minute, but looking at our bills for the last year or so, we've been charged anything between 10p and 18p per minute.
Any ideas or suggestions?

Hi BigD,
If you try the billing live chat link at the top of this board they can have a look over your account and check that the plan has been applied right.
Or if you prefer just drop me an email and I will be happy to have a look too.

    Solved. If I select "View and change your calling plans & add-ons", it doesn't offer the option of keeping both, but if instead I select "Existing customer offer" from the banner add on the right hand side, it does. Must be a "feature"

    Log out and log in with your Adobe ID.  The Creative Cloud software should activate itself.

    There's only one Cloud membership per Adobe ID.
    You'll have to set up and manage a brand new Adobe ID and run a second Cloud membership off that.

    Hey Kelly  I would suggest before you upgrade to determine WHY you consume that much. Are there any background applications that might take your bandwidth? If you are streaming video, is there a setting to lower video quality to save bandwidth? Have you enabled power saving to shut down data usage when your phone is iddle and not in use? Have you enabled compression in your Google Synchronazation settings (Accounts/Google)?  Please check your data consuption to see what's happening so that to get the best options.  Hope the above helps a little.

  • Upgrade $10 per month credit promotion

    I recently upgraded both of our lines and qualified for the credit on my second line. It didn't show up on any of my bills (upgraded in December). When I called to ask customer service about it, they told me that although I qualified and it should have been applied, there was nothing they could do because the promotion had ended.
    I do not understand how I am out the credit even though they verified that I did everything I should have to qualify for the credit. Is there any other way to rectify this? Thank you!

    I sent an email to customer service and was contacted by another manager. The new one assured me that they could fix the issue. They ended up having to switch me to a different calling plan (same cost and everythign else per month, but with no roaming charges so cheaper for me). They called again to say they were having problems issuing the credit but assured me that it would be taken care of. The customer service has been very good and I'm confident that they're going to make this right for me now. Thanks for the suggestions!

    Is there anyone else out there being fleeced by BT who have stayed horribly silent about their Friends and Family Mobile service which not only increases your calls to mobile costs but also charges you monthly for the priviledge?
    It has been going on since at least 2011 and is still happening...
    Come on BT - start being honest, repay the sums you have conned out of your customers and recalculate the bills you have charged to your loyal honest customers...

    If you have the PS+LR bundle, then you should install the Creative Cloud app, first.   One CC is installed, it’ll show all your eligible products on its Apps list, with Install buttons next to the apps you’re licensed to use, and Trial or Try next to the apps you’re not licensed to use.
    The CC app is the first thing on the Adobe Products page.  It is a desktop app, not tablet app.
