Friends IPod connects to network but mine won't
My iPod touch used to connect to the internet at work but now it no longer does. A coworker has a 2nd generation ipod touch as well and it connects to the internet just fine. I adjusted my WiFi settings to match his to no avail. What else do I need to do to connect to the internet at work. Any help would be appreciated.
Reset the touch network settings and give it another try. Tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset Network Settings. When the touch restarts, tap Settings > WiFi > Other and enter the logon information for the network.
The one exception to this is whether or not your work is using enterprise level security on their network. If they are, see your IT people for help. The touch would connect the same as the iPhone.

Restore...
From iTunes, select the iPad/iPod and then select the Summary tab. Follow directions for Restore and be sure to say "yes" to the backup. You will be warned that all data (apps, music, movies, etc.) will be erased but, as the Restore finishes, you will be asked if you wish the contents of the backup to be copied to the iPad/iPod.

If you cannot remember the passcode, you will need to restore your device using the computer with which you last synced it. This allows you to reset your passcode and resync the data from the device (or restore from a backup). If you restore on a different computer that was never synced with the device, you will be able to unlock the device for use and remove the passcode, but your data will not be present. I have downloaded a movie which I brought from itunes. It appears in my ipod classic movie menu but it won't play. I try to update and or restore my ipod but I just keep getting a message saying that I need to connect to the internet which I am and am contected to the itunes store. I try to use the itunes self help support thing but keep getting the message that my ipod serial number is incorrect when it is the serial number which is on my ipod. Any ideas?

If you rented the movie on your iOS device or Apple TV, you can’t move it to any other device.

If you restore from iCloud backup the apps will be automatically downloaded. If you restore from iTunes backup the apps and music have to be in the iTunes library since synced media like apps and music are not included in the backup of the iOS device that iTunes makes.

Photosmart C7280 connected to network but no print
Photosmart C7280 connected to network but no print. Trying to print from a new Mac Book Pro using Snow Leopard. Both computer and printer are connected to Time Capsule (router), but I'm unable to connect to the printer. I restarted computer after removing the installed printer, I have restarted printer after verifying it works. This is a new network setup. TIA Jim
