FRM-10095 in Oracle Forms Builder Forms [32 Bit] Version 9.0.2.9.0

Hello,
I got the error message (in German) "FRM-10095 Ausführung in iewbdc_oracle_to_id, um E:\f021w32\src\ie\iewbdb.c:715 fehlgeschlagen". I got this error, when I tried to create a forms block using the data block wizzard on the Oracle-OE-table "orders". I think the problem is, that in this table is a column with the data type "timestamp(6) with local time zone". Other tables without this datatypes work. Is the only solution to change the data type of this column or is there another solution?
Thank you
Ralf Nobes

Hi Sarah,
my reports-server works all the time, and i did not do any configuration or install any loopback-adapter. I have a reports-server name like rep_<machine> and can use that in forms also as in URL-syntax.

    I AM NEW TO ORACLE AND WANT TO KNOW HOW TO PROGRAM BUTTONS TO OPEN FORMS. CAN ANY ONE HELP THANKS

    The easiest way to build forms is if you have a copy of Microsoft Access use ODBC to link your Microsoft Access Client Program (for forms and reports) to your Oracle Database.
    The other option is to download Oracle Forms/Services from Oracle's web site. Its about a 250 meg download, and not quite as easy to use as access.

  • Forms Builder - form not pulling the data from the DB into the datablock

    I'm working on a school project, and I'm not sure if I'm doing something wrong, or if something is wrong with my setup.
    I created a basic form, 3 fields, and ID, firstname and lastname
    the wizard connected fine, pulled the three fields into forms builder
    I setup a canvas - type content with the a form format layout of the three fields.
    saved the form.
    When I run the form and it's displayed, nothing gets pulled into the fields (all blank).
    Shouldn't it pull at least the first row from the table?
    it says it's on record 1/1
    XP, Oracle 10g, Form builder 10.1.2,
    I'm not getting any errors
    I want to get this basic form working first, before I start adding to it, and it doesn't seem to want to cooperate.
    I've done the same steps as in the tutorials....

    I did find that, if I put data in the ID, first and lastname on the form, and click Execute & Save on the Menu, it does add it to the database.
    Maybe what I'm missing, is how do I get the form to read from the database when it starts up?

    Hi Leah,
    Have you tried double clicking?
    If this doesn't solve the issue, you might want to try using a different version of the browser and disable the pop up blocker on your browser.
    Please try this out and let me know.

  • Oracle WareHouse Builder 10g Beta IV Version Release (10.1.2) Documentation

    Hi All,
    Is there anyone who will clarify whether I am thinking in the wrong way? Actually, I wanted to install a repository through Repository Assistant. There are three PCs on which this OWB version is installed. From my end (say PC_1 ) I was trying to do a Basic Installation, I tried it by giving the IP address of another machine (PC_2 say) and the other things the wizard asked. The installation was successful ! But the documentation says :
    "The basic installation is designed for local installations only. If you select Basic Installation and enter connection information for a remote machine, the Repository Assistant instructs you to return to the Install Type and select Advanced Setup. "
    But my installation was successful and I can connect to the repository again and again as a single user from any one of the three PCs I have, then how comes it was not a repository installation on remote machine? I am confused, Pls help...
    Regards,
    Pragati Sarkar.

    Hi Ott,
    Thank u. U can get the documentation in:
    Go to OWB 10g Beta IV Design Center. Then click Help.
    Open the documentation for "Connecting to the Oracle Database". The last paragraph of the documentation says what I have quoted in my last query.

  • Are you going to build a 64 bit version of firefox, and if so when do you expect to release it to the world?

    see the question above

    I take you are referring to the Win64 builds as the Mac OSX and Linux has supported 64-bit Release builds since Firefox 4.0
    The Win64 builds have been in Tier3 support since December 2012.

  • Japanese Forms Builder Version

    Hi,
    Originally oracle forms were developed using Japanese version of 6i forms builder in a Japanese version of Windows OS.
    Can I open and modify those forms in English version of 6i Forms builder after setting the NLS_LANG parameter in Registry and default.env file.My OS supports the japanese characters(XP Professional).
    After making changes at English version, will I be able to compile and deploy it back into Japanese version of Windows OS.
    Please clarify. Thanks for the help.
    Best Regards

    yes, that will work - FormsBuilder is fully unicode enabled. - There is only one thing you need to take care: make sure your NLS_LANG character encoding supports japanese kanji characters or else you are going to lose code comments/captions/etc.
    For example AMERICAN_AMERICA.UTF8/JA16SJIS/A16EUC are ok ... but AMERICAN_AMERICA.WE8??? charactersets are not!

  • Issue with XML form builder

    Hi All,
    1 ) My XML form builder is hanging up very very frequently (other than this, my portal is very fast).
    when I save the project its hangs up at "50% saving internal model". then I have to close the xml form builder and reopen it and save it again (when i do it repeatedly, some time it saves).
    when I click on "open Project" many times its not popup the project list, I have to close the xml form builder, logout from my portal and then login back.
    Its horrible to work on this, keeps on hanging every time. Any idea why its behaving like this? as I said, my portal is very fast except XML form builder.
    My Java version is 1.4.2_16... XML form builder verison is 6.xx
    2) when clicked on "preview" button, can we open a pcd iview??? my requirement is, when user clicks on preview button I need to open my application built in PDK java (created iview out of it, which shows xml form in a better way)?
    3) Can I show "Edit" form first other than "Renderer" form in News application? Presently it shows renderer form-> user has to click edit link -> then it will open Edit form. I want "Edit" form to be visible to the user in the first step itslef. is it possible?
    Thanks

    Hi.
    I suppose changing of the JDK, because 1.4.2_16 is not recommended version (see SAP  Note 716604). Refer to note 718901 - How to Change the JDK of the J2EE Engine.
    Also check what version of client JRE in use. (see Note 1341069 - XML Forms Builder not supported if client JRE is 1.6).

  • Can I run 32 bit version of Oracle 10g grid  on Linux x86-64?

    Since Oracle did not release 64 bit version of Oracle 10g grid for Linux X86-64. Can I run 32 bit version of Oracle 10g grid on Linux x86-64? If so did anyone tried this? and also any known issues?

    All I had to do was use the 32bit version of "/usr/bin/gcc" and "/usr/bin/g++" to run the installation
    That is:
    bin]# cp -p /usr/bin/gcc /usr/bin/gcc_old
    bin]# mv /usr/bin/gcc /usr/bin/gcc323
    mv: overwrite `/usr/bin/gcc323'? y
    bin]# ln -s /usr/bin/gcc296 /usr/bin/gcc
    bin]# cp -p /usr/bin/g++ /usr/bin/g++_old
    bin]# mv /usr/bin/g++ /usr/bin/g++323
    mv: overwrite `/usr/bin/g++323'? y
    bin]# ln -s /usr/bin/g++296 /usr/bin/g++
    AFTER INSTALLATION REMEMBER TO
    move back the 64bit files to their former state.
    bin]#rm /usr/bin/g++
    bin]#rm /usr/bin/gcc
    bin]#mv /usr/bin/gcc_old /usr/bin/gcc
    bin]#mv /usr/bin/g++_old /usr/bin/g++

    Same issue here... Been trying to get this working since a week now. I tried all the solutions like memory heap and all but no luck.
    One thing that I would like to know is that, in some threads the resolution was to recompile the INS_FORMS.MK file under /forms/lib32 but with my installation I don't have that "lib32" folder under /forms/ and I can not even find that file anywhere in my entire installation.
    I am using 12.1.1 on Windows Server 2008.
    Any help or guidelines is greatly appreciated.
