FRM-40039 error post 32 bit to 64 bit migration. Please help.

Hello,
I'm facing the a problem where during runtime I get error:
'FRM-40039: Cannot Attach library Ofgtel while opening Form XXX'
I'm facing this issue post migration of my environment from 32 bit server to 64 bit server.
One more thing I noticed is that after copying and compiling the ofgtel.pll file from production, the pll file size is changing. I agree that this would happen based on platform change, but this change in filesize is happening only with this library and not with few more which exist in the same path.
Can someone please please help me fix this issue.

The file Ofgtel.pll (plx) is a Designer module. Therefore I will suspect that your application was originally created using Designer and not directly from Forms. You need to ensure that ALL of the Designer modules which your application uses are re-generated in v11 on the machine where they will be used. Do not generate them and attempt to move them to another machine. Also, it is important that you ensure that the file locations are included in FORMS_PATH (default.env).
As for running the Builder on Linux64, this can be done, but is not supported in R1 (11.1.1). A simple modification to the frmbld.sh file will allow the Builder to start on x64. But again, this is NOT supported so please do not contact Oracle Support when/if you have problems doing this. If you need to reattach libraries or make any application changes, I recommend you do this on a supported platform. Save your changes then move the source files (fmb, mmb, pll, olb) to the runtime machine. On the runtime machine, you will need to generate the X files as I mentioned earlier.
If you continue to get messages which suggest that a file could not be attached, it likely means that you did not generate the X file, the X file cannot be found, or there is a permissions issue on the file. Remember that on Unix (Linux) case sensitivity can be an issue.

    For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
    The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
    The further information area has direct links to the current and recent builds in case you have problems downloading, need to revert to an older version or want to try the iTunes for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) release as a workaround for installation or performance issues, or compatibility with QuickTime or third party software.
    Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there are also links to backup and recovery advice should it be needed.

    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1926
    Here is a general outline of where the troubleshooting will take you:
    General installation troubleshooting
    1. Empty your Temp directory and restart
    2. Completely remove iTunes and related components
    3. Install the latest version of iTunes
    Additional troubleshooting
    After performing each of the steps below, you will need to completely remove iTunes and related components and then install iTunes again to determine whether the issue is resolved.
    1. Make sure you have administrator account access
    2. Make sure your folder names don't contain strange characters
    3. Get the latest Windows updates
    4. Disable other conflicting software
    Additional Information
    If you only need to install QuickTime, or if iTunes installs but QuickTime installation did not complete
    Try downloading and installing the standalone version of QuickTime from http://www.apple.com/quicktime/download/. Be sure you download the version that does not include iTunes.
    If the steps outlined in this article don't help, you may be able to find a solution to your issue by searching the Microsoft support website.

    I updated my itunes and now every time i try to play a song 'internal error' shows up and itunes quits. Please help me....

    Hi Dance4Life85!
    I have a couple of troubleshooting suggestions for you regarding this issue. First, I would suggest that you reinstall iTunes, according to the instructions in this article:
    OS X Mountain Lion: Reinstall apps that came with your Mac
    http://support.apple.com/kb/PH11201
    To reinstall iTunes, download it from the Apple Downloads website.
    Apple Downloads website
    Note that all you will need to do is download iTunes and install it again, it will install over the version that is on your computer right now without issue. If your issue persists, you may want to see this article about troubleshooting third-party plugins for iTunes:
    iTunes: Troubleshooting issues with third-party iTunes plug-ins
    http://support.apple.com/kb/TS3430
    Lastly, if neither of these resolve the issue, then you may need to recreate your iTunes library. More information on this can be found here:
    iTunes: How to re-create your iTunes library and playlists
    http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1451
    Thanks for being a part of the Apple Support Communities!

  • Ipod mini 2nd gen 1 gb: not detected by laptop (win 7 64 bit), if detected: error during autofill and cannot be restored, please help :D

    My laptop does not detect my ipod mini (2nd gen 1 gb), when i connect it the orange light flashe 2 or 3 times then nothing happens. if ever that it will be detected by my laptop and when i sync music on it there will be an error and itunes will suggest to restore it to its factory setting and if i choose to restore it error 3194 happens. so my top priority of course is for it to be detected then fix the latter. please help any will be much appreciated

    This is an Answer for a Possible Solution. It worked for me and is still working. The issue I was having with my 64 bit vista, was Apple Mobile Device Service was not being installed, I dont know why. But I disabled any active running program through MSCONFIG, to allow a clean uninterrupted install of ITUNES 8.02. This allowed AMDS and drives from ITUNES to install. Hope this works for most of you.
    APPLE, please review your Support Methods. Re-installing doesnt help an issue that resulted from installing.

  • FRM-40039 error on Unix

    I'm getting this error in the application server in unix "FRM 40039 Cannot attach library calendar90". The same form works fine in windows.
    I searched for solutions in this forum and tried everything but it still gives me the error.
    I have compiled the pll file
    I have put the path in default.env
    I know unix is case-sensitive, i checked and the filename is fine
    What else could I be missing.
    PLEASE help.
    Thanks

    thats not easy. for example: you work in a working-dir. Your PATH shows to additional directories.
    When Forms looks for a library at runtime, then the search-path uses this priorities
    Prio 1) Search for the PLX in the working-dir. Use it.
    else
    Prio 2) Search for the PLX in all other PATHs. Then use it
    else
    Prio 3) Search for the PLL in the working-dir. Use it.
    else
    Prio 4) Search for the PLL in all other PATHs. Then use it
    ELSE
    RAISE Error "Cannot find library xyz"

  • IPhoto error- won't run at all! Please help

    I just got my mac a few weeks ago. I love the iLife applications, and they all worked well. But I upgraded to Leopard a few days ago and since then my iPhoto will not run. It opens and asks if I want to import recovered photos. It doesn't matter if I click "yes" or "no", the application quits and I get this message:
    "The application iPhoto quit unexpectedly.
    Mac OS X and other applications are not affected.
    Click Relaunch to launch the application again. Click report to see more details or send a report to Apple."
    Clicking Relaunch simply re-opens it with the same problem. In the report is this information, in part:
    "Process: iPhoto [374]

    And also the number of recovered photos that it asks me to import increases every time I try to run the program. Please help! I can't be without this awesome application.

  • Error while playing an audio file. Please help!

    Hi all,
    I'm trying to transfer an audio file from server to client and play it after transferring the whole file. But the play command opens up the player and gives me the error saying the file is corrupted. I see that some of the lines in the copied file are missing when compared with the original file. I couldnt understand why this is happening in a TCP connection. Can anyone please help me with this.
    Thanks a lot in advance.

    I'm posting my code so that you can tell where am I going wrong
    //Server side writing file to client socket
    do
    i = fin.read();
    if(i!=-1) outToClient.writeByte(i);
    if(i == -1) outToClient.writeByte(-1);
    } while(i!=-1);
    //Client side reading file and playing it
    DataInputStream inFromServer3 = new DataInputStream(clientSocket.getInputStream());
    do
    b = inFromServer3.readByte();
    if(b != -1) fout.write(b);
    if(b == -1)

    Hi, I've been having trouble with my iPhone 3GS and after wasting many days on trying to solve the problem, I am reaching out for help from those more knowledgeable than me. I have been having this problem for as long as I can remember (I've owned my iPhone for just under a year): whenever I attempt to Restore my iPhone or update its OS, I receive a 1602 or 1604 error on iTunes and the process stops with the iPhone wiped. iTunes refuses to continue the Restore and any further attempts result in the same error. I originally found this work around for the problem after an exhaustive search (4th post down):
    http://discussions.apple.com/thread.jspa?threadID=1363589
    However, every time I wish to Restore or update, I have to follow these long, annoying, unusual steps, and, now that I am coming to the end of my year's warranty, I really want to fix this problem, or get it fixed by Apple if this is not possible.
    The iPhone restores with no problem on another computer in my house, so I guess the problem is with my computer. I have taken the following steps (often many times over and in combination with each other) in my attempts to fix the problem, but with no success:
    1. Uninstalled and reinstalled iTunes
    2. Uninstalled and reinstalled iPhone drivers
    3. Uninstalled and reinstalled all Apple software and drivers
    4. Removed iTunes library, all music and any other iTunes files in music folder
    5. Created a new user account, which is free from any old iTunes settings, opened iTunes and plugged in iPhone
    6. Used different USB ports
    7. Plugged in iPhone after being restored on other computer
    I'm running out of ideas. Can anyone please help?
    Thanks,
    James

    I had all of these problems, and I was able to fix them with the following process. Here is what I did:
    My setup:
    Apple Max OS 10.4.10, Mac G4, with 3rd party USB 2.0 card.
    1. Upgrade to iTunes 7.6 and Quicktime 7.4, Restart and repair permissions
    2. Purchase the iPod Touch Upgrade - It took two tries to purchase. I had to accept to two agreements, and then got an error. I purchased the upgrade again and got an instruction screen. iTunes appeared to download a very small file.
    3. Sync my touch (I still had not upgraded to firmware 1.1.3)
    4. The touch synced, but I had no new functions.
    5. I clicked upgrade, and downloaded the 165GB file.
    6. While the file was downloading I undocked my iPod touch and restarted it.
    7. When the download was complete, it gave me an unknown error because my iPod was not connected.
    8. I connected My iPod and tried to install the update. After several tries, I always got a 1602 error.
    9. I restarted my computer and did a hard restart of my ipod touch. This did not work, I still had 1602 errors.
    10. At this point, I chose to RESTORE my iPod Touch.
    11. After the restore, I chose not to restore any content, and just tested the firmware update. EVERYTHING worked great!
    12. I synced my iPod touch while I watched the keynote. 45 minutes later my sync was complete and 14 Gig of content was restored. The new functions are great. I have already read my .Mac email.

  • Getting Error:closing a connection for you. Please help

    Hello All,
    I'm using jboss3.2.6. I used ejb2.1 (session bean and entity bean[BMP]). I did few data base transations in cmp and few in simple data source connection.
    I'm getting below errors occasionally
    'No managed connection exception
    java.lang.OutOfMemoryError: Java heap space
    [CachedConnectionManager] Closing a connection for you. Plea
    se close them yourself: org.jboss.resource.adapter.jdbc.WrappedConnection@11ed0d

    I've given below my dao connection code here,
