FRM-91116 Internal Error

We had Developer 2000 rel 6i installed on the client with Oracle8i on the server. I tried installing Designer 2000 rel 6i on the NT 4.0 client. The designer 2000 installation failed with a Dr. Watson error (which I should have noted down but did not). Here is the big one, now I cannot even start the forms builder it gives me a 'FRM-91116 Internal Error: Oracle*Image startup failure.'. Looks like some forms startup file has been messed up. Can someone please tell me what has gone wrong and how can I fix it up. Thanking you in advance

Have you applied any patches recently?
If you have any other identical instance (same patchset), rename the form you have in production instance and replace it with the one from the other instance and see if you can reproduce the issue.

You might want to check metalink note 255023.1 - How to Interpret the Oracle Forms Error - FRM-93000 to get a better understanding of this error.
If your application has been running for a while without problems and then you hit this problem, it might be possible that you need to tune your Application Server, you can refer to metalink note 294749.1 - Troubleshooting WebForms Tuning / Performance /Time out Problems.
If I were you, I would open a SR with Oracle so that they help you with the investigation and to get more detailed logs ... this error FRM-93000 is a generic one, it simply says that your Form crashed/was terminated, it will require more investigation.

  • Forms 6i gives FRM-40734 Internal PL/SQL Error after Hourglass for 30 Min

    Hi,
I am developing a New custom Form using a copy of Oracle Apps. TEMPLATE.FMB
(Out of two custom forms , I am getting the below issue in only one form and the other is working fine)
Everything works fine but I observed one unique issue during my testing.
I executed the form and entered a value in one column of the master record
(now the record in CHANGED status).
Now I pressed the F11 Key (for Enter-Query in Apps) for doing the
Query by ignoring the entered record values.
Instead of giving a message "Do you want to Save the changes you have made (or)
A Required Field must be entered"
But the Form shows the Hourglass(Busy) for 30 Minutes then gives the error :
    FRM-40734 Internal PL/SQL Error
May I know in the above situation, what are the triggers the form will fire and in which sequence (forms 6i)
In summary what form triggers will be fired :
When a NEW record status is CHANGED and when the user invokes Enter-Query
(F11 on Apps and F8 on standalone) , before form changes to Enter-Query mode.
Any pointers to my issue resolution.
Below is my form canvas/block layout and I am getting the issue Only in Master Block and not in any of the detail blocks
    MASTER BLOCK
    DETAIL1 BLOCK
    DETAIL2 BLOCK DETAIL2 BLOCK DETAIL2 BLOCK
    thanks,
    Shashi

    Issue got resolved:
    ==================
In my case, The solution I found is renaming the Relations with a unique name.
When the Relation is created for two different master blocks
the "Block creation wizard" has given the same name for both
    these relations.
I renamed both of them with a custom unique name then the issue got resolved now the form is behaving correctly.
    thanks,
    Shashi

    Hi,
Please mention the application release, database version, and the OS.
What changes have been done recently?
Can you find any details about the error in the Database/CM log files?
Any invalid objects in the database?
Did you try to regenerate the form via adadmin and see if this helps?
    Does AutoConfig complete successfully?
Please see if (Note: 153788.1 - Troubleshoot an ORA-600 or ORA-7445 Error Using the Error Lookup Tool) helps. You may also run cmclean.sql script (Note: 134007.1).

The following error text was processed in the system SSS : Internal Error
The error occurred on the application server PUNHJWSAPSRM_SSS_00 and in the work process 1 .
    The termination type was: TH_RES_FREE

If the termination type was RABAX_STATE, then you can find more information on the cause of the termination in the system SSS in transaction ST22.
If the termination type was ABORT_MESSAGE_STATE, then you can find more information on the cause of the termination on the application server PUNHJWSAPSRM_SSS_00 in transaction SM21.
If the termination type was ERROR_MESSAGE_STATE, then you can search for more information in the trace file for the work process 1 in transaction ST11 on the application server PUNHJWSAPSRM_SSS_00 . In some situations, you may also need to analyze the trace files of other work processes.

HTTP 500 - Internal Server Error
Your SAP Internet Communication Framework Team

    Hi Amol,
First of all the sicf transaction is to be used only if you use the internal ITS.
Now you have to put an external breakpoint in the source code of the ABAP Program or FM you want to debug , one of these in your case :
    Function: B40B_READ_TABLE of program SAPLBBP_BD_DRIVER_40B
    Function: META_READ_TABLE of program SAPLBBP_BD_META_BAPIS
    Form: LOCATIONS_READ of program SAPLBBP_ATTR_F4
    Function: BBP_ATTR_F4_SLOC_PPOMA of program SAPLBBP_ATTR_F4
    Form: STG_LOC_GET_FOR_LOCATION of program SAPLBBP_SC_APP
    Form: STG_LOC_GET of program SAPLBBP_SC_APP
    Form: LOCATION_STG_LOC_GET of program SAPLBBP_SC_APP
    Form: USER_ATTRIBUTES_GET of program SAPLBBP_SC_APP
Then launch the transaction in IE, once the program reaches a breakpoint, you'll get the ABAP debuger in IE.
    Regards.
PS: if it doesn't work, put the parameter ~generatedynpro in BBPGLOBAL service to have it applied to all BBP transactions
