FRM-92101 when scrolling through a data block on a form

Folks,
We recently converted a Forms 6i application to Forms 10g (re-compiled, little changes were requested). Running against an Oracle 10g database (10.1.2.3) on a Solaris server.
When users scroll through the data block on a canavas after about 2 or 3 screens t hy get the wonderful error message FRM-92101, talking about an error in the Forms Server at startup... (Kinda silly since it is AFTER the Form has started running, but beyond the point).
I have tried adjusting the # of rows buffered for datablock (started out at 0, changed to 25, 50, 100) and rows to display at once to 1, 10, 16 and we still keep getting this error.
Can anybody suggest an solution or point me in the right direction to solve this issue?

Web Form Hangs When Scrolling through Multi-Record Block

Hello!
I have a web-deployed form that uses the Sun Java JVM and utilizes WebUtil.
We are using JDK v1.4.2.
When I open this form using the Java plug-in and try to scroll through a multi-record block ... it will hang at various points and eventually I have to close the form because it won't respond.
This does not happen if I simply access the form through the Microsoft JVM.
Any suggestions?

That's a know solved bug. You must install AS10g patchset 9.0.4.2.
For me it solved the problem.

FRM-92101 when creating excel file through webutil

I am getting forms error FRM-92101 error when loading a large amount of records into an excel file using webutil
FRM-92101
A Network Error has occurred
The forms client has attempted to reconnect to the server 1 time(s) without success
I can successfully create the excel file without the the FRM-92101 when loading only 100 out of 2,000 records from the datablock.
But if I try to load 1,000 out of the 2,000 records then in the middle of the loading process I get the FRM-92101 error.
What is causing this error? A timeout issue with forms? How much the excel file can actually handle? Could it be an security issue on the network?
What can be done to remedy the problem? Just save data little bits at a time?

I was running the form from my DS and when I put the form on the application server there were no FRM-92101 errors.
I'm not sure why running the form from my DS caused this error and running the form from the application server didn't?

[FYI] FRM-92101 and scroll bar and form crash

Windows 2k for app server.
I have just spent three hours figuring out why I was getting a FRM-92101 when I deployed a form from my development app server to my test app server. Noted that the development server has patch 18 and uses cgi, not sure what patch the test server has but it uses servlet. Anyway the form worked perfectly on the dev server but would crash out with the error on entry in the form on the test server. Eventually I found the solution to be a scroll bar on a block, get rid of the scroll bar from the canvas and voila it worked. Ended up having to place the scroll bar on a stacked canvas to get it to work on the test server. I have already had to deal with a palette issue and those dark pink colours on deployment. Developed for a while on visual studio and never came across such annoying quirks as these.

I use XP to develop so I was compiling it there and then copying it across to both servers. Should I compile forms on the app server where they are going to be served or have I picked you up correctly?

Content canvas and a stacked canvas moving when scroll through the details

Dear Friends
I have Mater and Details Block , and I have two canvas content canvas and a stacked canvas, and the a stacked canvas on top of content canvas , and I have set the horizontal and vertical scroll bar for the stacked canvas , my problem is that when I inquire and click on the details block which is on stacked canvas the header content canvas is moved up
and what I want the header to be stable and not moving when scroll through the details .

if the canvas is moved during runtime in general the problem is that is does not fit completly in the window. Try to adjust your window-size so that the whole layout fits into it.

Certain option menus in Leopard flicker when scrolled through.

I first noticed this problem in iChat. When scrolling through my various away messages in the status menu, I noticed the whole menu flicker. It happens all the time. It disappears and reappears really fast in a split second (which is the flickering), and exposes what is behind it (my desktop, iChat buddy list, etc).
I also noticed this while searching in Spotlight. As I type something into spotlight, it flickers the same way, for no apparent reason.
Has anyone experienced this problem with similar option menus? I find it quite annoying and I am hoping that Snow Leopard fixes the problem. Anyone know what is causing it? I have heard that it can be a possible graphics card problem, which I am still not sure of.
Any info would be just grand!
Also, this problem is with my new MacBook Pro 17" that I just purchased. I actually have an old powerbook running 10.4 and it does not have these problems at all. It is only with my new MacBook running the latest OSX version.

You may have to place a call to AppleCare support, or see
if you can get through via live chat in the web page. Also,
if you have access to an official Apple Store with Genius Bar
you can call ahead and arrange for a time (appointment) to
have an expert look at the computer and hopefully it will be
doing the same things you noticed acting up, at that time.
Since I don't know if you perform any maintenance or repair
routines on the computer in question, I am not sure if any
further ideas outside of them are in order; it has AppleCare.
Software issues are addressed differently than hardware ones.
There is a chance the issue could be either software or
hardware related; so some testing may have to be done
The computer should be covered by the complementary
AppleCare it came with when new for repair and support.
You can extend both of these through purchase and enroll
of an AppleCare Protection Plan for a combined three year
coverage of both support and service/repair.
This is likely the best path; be sure to try to make backup
copies of your saved work or other things before taking
the computer in for someone to troubleshoot it. Also, if
AppleCare (phone or web-based chat) suggests you send
the computer in, if you are not near a suitable authorized
service center, be sure to make a backup of everything.
This may include making a full computer clone to an ex-
ternal hard disk drive. Be sure to test the clone before the
computer goes somewhere out of your control.
(For sensitive data on a computer, for work, etc, some
users make a tested good clone and then wipe the drive
of the computer; use Disk Utility on boot installer, and
the option to over-write the drive with zeros, & reformat.
Then reinstall the OS X to see if this helps cure the issue
before sending it off. Some don't do this, if the computer
is going into a shop nearby; the techs there could backup
your data - for a fee in some instances - so a repair may
not cause it to be lost... ask about this for their procedure.)
In any event... hopefully that works out.

Option 1
Back Up and try rebuild the library: hold down the command and option (or alt) keys while launching iPhoto. Use the resulting dialogue to rebuild. Choose to Rebuild iPhoto Library Database from automatic backup.
If that fails:
Option 2
Download iPhoto Library Manager and use its rebuild function. This will create a new library based on data in the albumdata.xml file. Not everything will be brought over - no slideshows, books or calendars, for instance - but it should get all your albums and keywords back.
Because this process creates an entirely new library and leaves your old one untouched, it is non-destructive, and if you're not happy with the results you can simply return to your old one. .

Scrambled sound when scrolling through the library

After I have installed the latest itunes 7 update, I ecnountered some problems with the sound. When scrolling (quickly) through the library, the sound becomes distorted/scrambled. That also happens when typing in names (quickly) in the search function. My system requirements are sufficient and I didn't have problems with the previous version of itunes 7. Did anybody encounter similar problems?

If you named your rolls it would have the name of the roll and the date of the roll. if you didn't name your rolls it would just be the roll # and the date. Makes it easier to find what you are looking for when scrolling through the library.

Alphabet coming up when scrolling through library

basically i recently brought an 120 GB classic and when scrolling through my library i noticed that the alphabet wasn't coming up but not it happens occasionally ,is this happening to anyone else??

Keep the zoom level the same when scrolling through photos

To decide which is the best photo that i’ve got, i usually compares the details by zooming and switching through photos back and forth, but keep the zoom level the same..
The problem is, in iPhoto 11 i can’t do this..
Because everytime i scroll to another photo, it always zoomed out by itself..
Does anybody know how to retain the zoom level when scrolling through images?

How hare you zooming? When I double click on a photo to bring up its full sized image and use the keyboards arrow keys to scroll thu the size stays the same? Is that how you're doing it?
Have you tried using the Full Screen mode?

"Crash" When Scrolling Through Album Covers

The phone doesn't literally crash, however when scrolling through the album covers of the iPod section the phone goes back to the main menu and everything stops. If any music is play it stops and whatever I was looking at is gone; I'm left looking at the home screen of the iPhone. I'm simply flicking through my album covers, and after doing it for a few seconds it resets and brings me back to the home screen.
I have 296 artists and maybe around 200 albums. This is very annoying and I'm hoping others are having similar issues so it will get fixed...
If anyone needs more info please feel free to let me know.

Ok, turning the phone off and then back on (press & hold the sleep/wake button) resolved it this time. But who the heck knows when it's going to happen again. I've posted a YouTube video demonstrating the problem.

How can I change scrollbar colors? It's hard to see the menu selection/color when scrolling through bookmarks, for example.
