From 9.3.1 to 11.1.2 through complete rebuild - any parts able to migrate?

Oracle and the runaround and nondisclosure of 11.1.2.1 has delayed our project to the point we must go forward due to our slim window of availability before our next budget cycle.
We realize there is no migration tool to move planning applications from 9.3.1 to 11.1.2 therefore we plan to:
1. Create the users/groups from scratch
2. Establish the provisioning by native groups
3. Build the shell of the new planning app in 11.1.2
4. Through ODI export out the dimensions from 9.3.1 app and load into 11.1.2 app
5. Create business rules from scratch
6. Create forms from scratch
7. Export data 9.3.1 and load into 11.1.2
My biggest fear is the lack of Cell Text and Supporting detail and I don't want to recreate those from scratch and wondering if there is an option to take the repository tables do a bulk export from 9.3.1 then do a bulk insert into the 11.1.2 repositories
Out of any of the steps and my fear is there anything I could do via export/migration from 9.3.1 to speed up the process? We plan on building the form from scratch in 11.1.2 then use ODI and exports to populate the 11.1.2 production server.
Any opinions/comments is greatly appreciated.

Hi,
The user/groups/provisioning you may be able to speed up a litte, run the CSSImportExport utility from 9.3.1
In 11.1.2 provision a user/group run an LCM export, then you should with some work be able to match the 11.1.2 format to 9.3.1, it won't be a perfect match but should speed up things a little.
You can still migrate a planning application from 9.3.1 to 11.1.2 using the usual method of creating a blank planning app and then migrating the schema, then clicking the migrate button.
It does work and the table stucture is exactly the same when migrated button has been click as a blank planning application.
The only area where you may have issues are around the provisioning already in the planning tables but there are ways around that if you do encounter them.
Even with business rules you should be able to at least export/import, probably lose provisioning, and then if you want to convert to calc manager you can export business rules from 11.1.2 EAS and load into Calc Manager.
You could go down the ODI route but remember ODI does not extract planning metadata, it would have to be essbase and then transformed.

Try the following:
Using iPhoto Library Manager to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
Download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
Click on the Add Library button, navigate to your Home/Pictures folder and select your iPhoto Library folder.
Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the File ➙ Rebuild Library menu option
In the next window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
Click on the Create button.
Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

Ever since updating to the new ios 7.0.4 my Iphone 4s will not synchronize photos from itunes. Only feasibility to fix seems a complete reinstallation. any other ideas?

As mentioned in the caption i am encountering these problems. only solution so far was a complete restart after having reset the iphone. but this can't truly be the solution for apple, or can it?

So i've found the answer to this by clicking on every menu and setting in the itunes store. It turns out some purchases in the cloud can be hidden probably as the result of an interrupted transfer/sync/backup or a network outage. To unhide purchases 'greyed out ' items , go to the Itunes store (on the PC) click on your account name and select view account. (you'll be prompted for your itunes password) once you are in scroll down to the purchase history section. there should be an option for hidden purchases. click through and click on unhide purchases, redownloadble purchases. any hidden purchases will then show up. click on unhide to reactivate and download. This may only work for purchases in the cloud.

Yes there is. Those songs are not actually on your iPad. They are in iCloud ready for download if you choose to do so. If you want to remove them go to Settings>iTunes & App Store>Show All>Music>Off. You can also do this in Settings>Music>Show All Music>Off.

It's not entirely impossible actually as someone has pointed out to me that I can turn on Call Forwarding and that stops any incoming calls. I've just forwarded it to my google voice number and then turned on "do not disturb" in google voice and whenever I get a call it goes straight to my google voice voicemail and my phone does nothing. The only thing now is I still get text messages but I think the phone calls bugged me more because they would make my music turn off for much longer.
Even though this isn't a perfect solution it's something so far so maybe you shouldn't just come out and say there's NOTHING I can do because so far I've found part of a solution. If you don't have anyting productive to say then just don't reply and close the tab. Thanks.

I can record midi data from my Mason & Hamlin Piano Disc Pro Record through my MOTU Traveller into Logic Pro 9.1.8 but Logic won't send the midi data back out to the MOTU Traveller and thus to the Piano Disc player. I got it to playback one time but have no idea how and when it did it was looping or something because the velocity was way high coming back in and the damper pedal was slamming down. When I play a key on the piano the midi "in" light on the Traveller lights up. When I play the track back on my computer no lights blink on the Traveller and when I did the apple midi studio test in utilities when I play a key I get the confirmation signal noise and the Traveller blinks when I click on the down arrow of the Traveller in the Apple midi studio test the midi out light on the traveller never lights and the signal light on the piano does not blink either. No outbound signal at all...
I have messed with every possible parameter I can find and and have had help from one of Piano Disc's premier editors but no luck. The piano was prepped for me on Logic so it would work with my studio. I'm positive it's my fault and I'm overlooking something really simple and stupid but what!??!
Somebody please help. Thank you all in advance for ANY ideas you might have!

I'm not sure if this will be a help or not. I'm so Logic Pro wet behind the ears that I make newbies look experienced. However, I'm not expecting many on the Apple support forums have a PianoDisc system, much less one with the new optical record strip. While I don't have any record strip on my PianoDisc, I do have a PianoDisc iQ that's only a month old. I've been playing converted paper scrolls from hundred year old player pianos through it via the MIDI in port of the PianoDisc CPU. I've found I have to open the MIDI file in Logic Pro (10.0.4) then go to <Track><New External MIDI Track> then copy the existing track to that new external track. Only then can I see in the Track inspector (defaults left side of screen with the Icon for the instrument) the "Port" parameter. Then I can select my external MIDI device in that Port selector.
I've also encountered problems with the PianoDisc not using enough force on the notes or using too much force. To get around this problem, until I understand Logic better, I've been setting minimum and maximum volicities. To do that I right click on the track and select "Select All." Then I right click again and select "MIDI" then "MIDI Transform" then "Velocity Limiter." In the resulting pop up window in the center is a drop down and you can play with the velocity from "MIN" to "MAX" along with "ADD" "SUBTRACT" etc.
