From a multi page file is there a way to extract a single page?
Hello, I'm trying to extract a single page from a multi page PDF file. Is there a way to do this with Adobe Reader? Thanks

In Acrobat you can do the following to extract pages from the pdf:
Open the PDF in Acrobat and choose Tools > Pages > Extract.
Specify the range of pages to extract.
In the Extract Pages dialog box, do one or more of the following before you click OK:
To remove the extracted pages from the original document, select Delete Pages After Extracting.
To create a single-page PDF for each extracted page, select Extract Pages As Separate Files.
To leave the original pages in the document and create a single PDF that includes all of the extracted pages, leave both check boxes deselected.

Not in the Safari browser she can't. That is not supported on the iPad. There are other mobile browsers that do have that functionality - one is iCab Mobile.

Is there a way to extract ALL my music from my ipod touch 1st gen?

Is there a way to extract an image file metadata?
I know this isn't specific to PS but hope there's an answer here.
I'm transcribing some of the metadata from image files to build a simple catalog. Included are things like dimensions, resolution, and photo date. Is there a way to extract this data other than manually?

Open Automator
Choose Folder Action for type of document
At the top, for Folder action receives files and folders added to, select Other...
in the window that opens, select your Downloads folder, and then Choose
from the Actions on the left, drag Filter Finder Items over to the column on the right
Where it says Any Content, select Kind
Where it says Any, select music
Drag Move Finder Items over to the rightfor To: select other, and navigate to your user folder > Music > iTunes > iTunes Media > Automatically Add to iTunes

Firstly can you tell us what sort of drop in quality in you are experiencing? Is this music that you have recorded yourself using Audition or is it imported from somewhere else? Without knowing what has happened to it it is impossible to say if any improvement can be made.
If it is audio that you have recorded and edited in Audition you must have done something to it to make it change half way through. You will probably need to go back a few steps in your editing process to recover the sound. -
When I edit and/or delete photos from an album in iPhoto is there a way to make that what happens in the folder in finder? I am new to Mac. I've updated the operating system and iPhoto.
If your iPhoto Advanced preference pane is setup like this
all photos you import into the library are COPIED into the library. Thus those photos in the folders outside of iPhoto are redundant and can be deleted to save space on your hard drive. There no need to keep those copies in the folders.
If you do have your advance preferences set as shown above you can access your photos for use outside of iPhoto according to the following User Tip by Terence Devlin which is the best treatise on how to access photos (for use outside of iPhoto): How to Access Files in iPhoto. Otherwise you access your photos from within iPhoto. -
Is there any way to EXTRACT subtitles from a DVD?
Is there any way to EXTRACT subtitles from a DVD? My ultimate goal is to convert an existing DVD into a flash file for web use. It has subtitles which I want to retain. I have tried pulling the DVD files (.VOB) and encoding them to .wmv.
I was thinking perhaps I could import the DVD into Premiere, Encore, etc. I am able to pull the DVD video files off but the subtitles track/file is NOWHERE to be found.
Any ideas?You cannot do this with Adobe tools. The subtitles are a separate image stream inside the vob.
As with any third party or Adobe tools, I assume you are using them for legal purposes.

The easier way to do this is to get the subtitle file from the creator. However, many DVDs are created using a script image file, the person authoring the disk may not have a text file of the subtitles, and I don't think you can use an image subtitle file for flash subtitles. -

You can redownload most iTunes purchases directly to the iPod by:
Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store
Otherwise you will have to sync from your iTunes library. -
